Namolokama and its spectacular waterfalls, Hanalei Bay, lava rock pool and hot tub, second pool with barbecue area and full beachoutdoor kitchen, 6 newly resurfaced tennis courts, 4 asphalt and 2 synthetic grass, 4 Pickle ball courts managed by Peter Burwash International Tennis, all on 20 tropical acres.The condo includes oversized lanai with lounge chair, table and 2 chairs. New Serta Icomfort 5000F Memory Foam King Size bed, full bath with pedestal sink, under counter refrigerator, coffee maker, blender and toaster. There are no cooking facilities or microwave in the condo. A full kitchen is available at the lower pool along with 2 locations of gas grills for cooking. Remote controlled A/C, 18 foot cathedral ceiling with fan. Solid mahogany armoire with 40 inch flat screen TV, ROKU streaming capability for use with your Streaming apps, Bluetooth Sound Bar for steaming music and radio from your mobile device or computer, 6 drawer dresser. Tommy Bahama beach chairs, grass beach mats, beach umbrella, boogie boards are provided in the condo. All linens and paper products are provided. $45/day Resort fee and $50 check in fee not include in VRBO total and paid by guest upon arrival includes 8 outdoor gas grills, fire pits with seating area, Wi-Fi, valet parking, lobby with morning coffee service, exercise and hospitality suites, tennis, pool and beach towel exchange, hot tub, 2 swimming pools, local phone calls shuttle service, Sundry shop, business center. Happy Talk lounge and restaurant is open from 3-9 pm with live music. Wiki Wiki Restaurant serving Pizza is now open in the Bali Hai restaurant on property.

Gorgeous landscaping. Unit had great views with private lanai. Near parking, without having a parking lot view, which was a plus. Also near the lagoon pool/restaurants. We were never bothered by any noise. We were not bothered by the 5 minute walk to the beach. Golf cart rides were easy to obtain if desired, but we mostly walked. Property is spectucular and a great value as well.

The Hanalei Bay views were stunning and the studio was perfect for us - comfortable and great location with proximity to some of the best beaches in Kauai. The access to the Puu Poa beach with hotel golf cart was also a great surprise- great for snorkeling!

Best place in Princeville

This was my first time staying in Princeville and it was the absolute perfect place to stay with breathtaking views. Central location to Napali Coast, north shore beaches and everything you need. Dave is the most accommodating and accessible host I’ve stayed with! He truly cares about your experience and did everything he could to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect.Thank you Dave! This property located in Princeville (north island) was a beautiful clean property and had all the amenities listed. The view from the balcony was stunning and the resort was clean, safe and easy to access. The property owner, Dave, was a joy to deal with and answered all questions in a very timely manner.

Amazing view on the third floor, a lot of amenities to use on resort, right next to happy talk lounge and pool. Very nice and Hawaiian feel. Bed was comfy. Walking distance from the beach. Check in and check out was super easy, would definitely stay here again. Thank you Dave!

Awesome balcony view

We enjoyed our stay at the Hanalei Bay Resort. The view from the 3rd floor balcony is amazing. We were also happy with its central location. It’s a short drive to many beaches and towns. The only negative is the extra resort fee which was my own fault for not reading the description correctly. Our host was very easy to communicate with even though he lived in Colorado.

You can't beat the location and views for this price

Unbelievable views. You can wake up to the view of Hanalei Bay from your bed. Conveniently located in princeville. Resort community has a beach that is basically private (very hard for anyone else to get to). The Beach is also great for snorkeling. Only drawback would be is that the unit is very dated. Furniture is old. That said the price reflects it well. Owner is kind to put a lounger and comfy chairs in the patio (which is quite large), beach chairs and other necessities. Highly recommended!

Princeville Review

Our first visit to Kauai was amazing! We stayed in Dave's place which is a top floor condo. Our balcony view faced the sunset and was so beautiful day and night as we were able to see most of the resort grounds as well. It was very quiet and peaceful. The check in process and front desk help was top notch. The resort has restaurants along with golf carts to bring you down to a private beach. They have this deal where you can leave luggage and use their on site showers for late check outs. We were able to go to the little town nearby and rent surf boards for 20 dollars a day and learn to surf even though we had a 10 pm flight. We are excited to stay in Dave's place in the future. He was so clear on his check in instructions making our vacation as stress free as possible.

How to Afford Paradise

11 years ago, my husband and I had a drink at the St. Regis pool area and were envious of the people that could afford to stay in a place with such a gorgeous view. 2 weeks ago we stayed at this unit at the Hanalei Bay Resort and had an even better view. A dream come true for a great price. The high ceilings make the room feel airy and larger than I expected. The resort grounds are beautiful, and we made good use of the pool which never felt crowded. There are spotless grills to use by the tennis courts and Foodland is close by for shopping. This unit is located in the most convenient location for everything including getting to your car to pack up for daily outings to the beaches. We loved our stay here and hopefully will be back again. Also, the host was available to contact if we needed anything, but everything went smoothly so we did not need to contact David. Thanks for sharing this little piece of heaven that I had always dreamed of experiencing.

The unit was amazing, we could've spent the whole trip on the balcony looking at the view and been happy! The resort is nice, easy access to pool and parking, the beach is a bit of a walk but they have a cart option. A 10 min drive to the Hanalei beach. We would definitely stay again!

The stay was great! We had to rearrange the balcony furniture as the air conditioner on the right side was very warm. We snorkeled at the resort's beach and Hideaway's Beach. We missed the microwave because we couldn't warm our coffee. Overall we loved the place!

The Hanalei Bay Resort property and amenities are exceptional. Princeville is beautiful and Hanalei has great shops, fantastic restaurants, and the best coffee pastries and bread at Hanalei Bread co. This was our first trip to Kauai. We feel very lucky to have found this condo to rent. This condo is on the 3rd floor in the building next to the resort lobby. It is so convenient, quiet, and has the best views of Hanalei beach and the mountains. Dave is a great host too. He was very helpful in recommending things for us to do during our stay. If you’re considering Hawaii, pick Kauai for its absolute plush beauty and embrace the “Polynesian paralysis” chill lifestyle they enjoy. The location, amenities, and overall experience was very good. The description of the studio was transparent (no kitchen) so we knew what we were signed up for. It would be hard to match the view. The staff were all very friendly and made us feel safe with a fair amount of surveillance of the resort grounds. The restaurants were also easy to get seated and offered great service. Special additions: umbrellas and beach chairs, coolers to take to the beach, good cleaning supplies.

Why they chose this property

I purchased the condo in 1999 because it was the most beautiful location in the Hawaiian islands and is the place I spend 3 months a year enjoying Hanalei Bay Resort and the North Shore of Kaua'i.
After spending time on the other main islands of Hawai'i I found the Princeville area of Kaua'i the most friendly and accommodating. The weather, scenery, and activities are suitable for most every traveler to the state.

What makes this property unique

Waking in the morning from the new memory foam Sealy king bed to the view of Mt. Namolokama and its waterfalls, crashing waves of Hanalei Bay in the winter or sailboats moored on the Bay in summer, it is hard to find a more pleasing sight and feeing of natural beauty.
