Thank you so much for the kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you found the home clean, cozy, and the property beautiful. It means a lot to us that you enjoyed your time at Camp Bluebird, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime you're ready for another peaceful getaway in the mountains.
Our stay exceeding our expectations. The property was beautiful. It is beyond dog friendly. The acres are mowed down so there was so much space for our dogs to run. I swear I haven’t seen them that happy and exhausted after each night, ever. We’re so grateful to have taken this trip. My dogs particularly loved swimming in the creek even if it was 30 degrees out. We loved being able to hear the creek in the background, it was so relaxing and beautiful. One thing I’d like to add as it’s not always the case, but the beds were actually very comfortable. Thank you for such a great stay. We will be back.
Our stay at Camp Bluebird was phenomenal! We loved the simplicity of the cabin surrounded by 10 acres of woods and fields plus the peaceful creek running the length of the property. Our pups absolutely loved it and they were tuckered out every night after walking around and sniffing the property. We saw ample deer and birds around as well. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We have been to Blue Ridge multiple times and we both agreed this will be the place we will always return to! You will not be disappointed if you book this cabin, we were so sad to leave!
Property was as advertised. Very dog friendly. They even provide a bed and dishes for the pups. My dog had a great time running around the property. She’s older and acted like a young pup. Even got to chase a rabbit. Coming from South Fl, it may be the first she ever saw. Check in was easy, the cabin was very nice and the fireplace is the best. Blue Ridge is close by and seems like a good choice for meals and entertainment but I was interested in solitude and some fly fishing and got lots of both. Impending ice storm caused us to leave a half day early, but I will definitely try and get back for some quality peace and quiet. The creek is really nice and overall the property gives you and a dog, if you have one, a lot of room to roam.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. I’m so glad both you and your pup enjoyed the space—especially hearing that she got to feel young again and even experienced her first rabbit sighting! That makes me smile. We love welcoming dogs and want them to feel just as comfortable and free as their humans.
I’m happy to hear the cabin, fireplace, and easy check-in added to your stay, and that you were able to enjoy the solitude and fly fishing you were looking for. While I’m sorry the weather cut your trip a bit short, I completely understand and truly appreciate your flexibility. We would absolutely love to welcome you back for another peaceful, unrushed stay when the timing is right.
I can't say enough good things about this place. It was extremely clean. Family loved fishing in the river and pond. Best space for fur babies I have found. We will definitely stay here again.
Property had everything we needed. Creek was nice but no trout for us unfortunately. Remote location but close to town. We love blue ridge and we will definitely return.
Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Close to shopping, dining and sightseeing. My favorite part was coffee on the front porch every morning with the birds and deer.

Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're so glad you enjoyed the peace and quiet—there's nothing quite like sipping coffee on the front porch with the birds and deer to start the day. We’re happy to hear the cabin felt clean, well-stocked, and conveniently located for your adventures. Camp Bluebird has a way of drawing guests back again and again—many return 3–4 times a year for that same sense of calm and connection. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!
