This house is perfect for family and friends to get a way for a few days and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The "Koa House" was built with family and friends in mind! Built on two levels with a lovely, well-stocked kitchen, supplied with everyday spices, two ovens, a very large butler's pantry, waffle iron, blender, and crock pot, With an expansive dining table that seats 8, and a smaller table that seats 4, everyone has somewhere to sit and eat, as well as play games and puzzle on those cold snowy days or evenings after tearing up the slopes. Skiing not your thing, then maybe you want to cozy up to the beautiful fire engine-red stove downstairs, or during warm weather take a seat out on one of the two decks and observe the to die for views of Lake Coeur D'Alene! The decks provide lots of outside living to enjoy morning coffee, evening cocktails, incredible sunsets, deer-sightings, and cheering on the Grill Master of the group! Got kids? Adults can enjoy their time upstairs while the youngsters lounge downstairs on the large sectional, streaming on the 85" TV, or choosing from the video collection. They can choose from the selection of games to play at the poker table. They can go out and play ping pong, Corn Hole, or Badminton. Everyone can enjoy the whole-house sound system or listen to their own music on their own Alexa in their own space. Two washer and dryers are available, one set upstairs and one downstairs. For those guests who may have to check in with work, a large monitor is in the office. The Koa House is truly remarkable any time of the year. Nearby hiking, water play, skiing, breathtaking views during any season, wildlife viewing, serenity, quiet. Beautiful, Timeless, Mountain Home! A welcoming and comfortable place to make wonderful memories with those you love spending time with!

About the host
Hosted by Liz Anderson
We are Southern Californians who love visiting our beautiful Coeur D'Alene house! We love family and friends, and absolutely love being able to be together as a group in the very comfortable house! We love the change of seasons, the animal sightings, and incredible lake view. We are a multi-generational family, all in different stages of life; a toddler to great-grandparents, and everything in between. Our home celebrates family, and is a place where beautiful memories are always made, no matter which time of year we come to visit!
Why they chose this property
We LOVE the natural beauty of the Lake Coeur D'Alene, the trees, deer, the dark nights and serene tranquility. It is quiet, where you sleep the best. It is a place of rejuvenation, without the loud noise, and hustle and bustle of daily life. Access to trails and the lake keeps us active. We also appreciate that we are not too far from civilization when we need to shop, eat out, or shop in darling downtown CDA, all right on the lake!
What makes this property unique
The house is built with beautiful North-Western mountain architecture that stays true to the environment. Wood beams and high-quality flooring, comfortable furniture and beds. The house has a view for miles off the expansive deck, perfect for sharing meals, gazing at the lake, coffee or cocktails, and skygazing at night where darkness allows views of the stars, and sometimes the Aurora Borealis! The house is completely comfortable for a group of 10, with plenty of space to be together or to find some alone time. Cookware and bakeware provided allow lots of opportunity to make something delicious. It is a house that lets you getaway, but yet is close enough to get to the stores, restaurants, and to all the activities available in the most beautiful place on earth! It is a home that is versatile, beautiful, and comfortable!
