Studio @ 418 is in Our Carriage Barn which is detached from our house.

We have a five acre Country Property on a hillside with Mountain Views to Mount Mansfield and South. The Studio has a Queen Bed, full kitchen and a 3/4 bath, all together with its' own parking and entrance, seperate from our house. The Studio was formerly used as a Pre-School and since closing used as a long term rental. We have gone through to update and decorate as a shorter term vacation rental. My wife has a great deal of gardens on the property, along with our vegetable garden and grounds to walk around. There is so much to do around here for outdoor activities from skiing and snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking and canoeing. Lots of snow at Smugglers' Notch at just twenty minutes to the lifts. Stowe and Jay Peak are about a 45 minute ride. Burlington is only 25-30 minutes away with all it has to offer between live events, music and great restaurants. St. Albans is 15 minutes away with all that it has to offer in its' history, restaurants and shopping. We really are in a great area for doing all things. For those who want to go international and try their French, Montreal is 1-1/2 hours away. Bring your passport or enhanced license though , you'll need them. Then we have our local fare, Erica's, JJ's, Stone's Throw Pizza and Pub along with three Country Stores and of course, J & L Hardware for most anything you need or you forgot. The Falls in Fairfax are beautiful and a great fishing spot. Our local school is a K-12 so there are always things happening there, besides their great playground and the playing fields and walking path . So there is much to enjoy and the room is a good beginning. Cable T.V., full kitchen, great bathroom and shower, relaxing couch and lots of light and privacy. Or you can help out with whatever we may be doing at any given time. Gardening, firewood, stone walls, relaxing, fire time.
