About this property

Family friendly home on 20 acres with small beach on 4 acre pond.

Whether you need a place to rest and unwind, entertain a big, active family or get your team out of the office for the day, come enjoy this picturesque property and updated cottage home! Share a meal under the gazebo with a perfect view of the pond as a fire blazes in the gazebo fireplace, read a book on the screened porch, swim or fish in our beautiful pond, take the canoe or paddle boat out with your kids, play a game of ping pong, corn hole, pool or badminton with friends, hang out by the fire pit with a glass of wine while watching “golden hour”as the sun sets and then eat a s’more (we provide the wood). These are a few of the experiences we offer to our guests. Surrounded by trees, the twenty acre property feels like its own private park and is a perfect place to gather, relax or play!
We do have an adorable new shop near us called Mulberry Corner. It is a gift /pottery shop where you can buy lovely gifts or pay to make original pieces or pick pieces out there ready to paint and fire. We do have a new Main's Grocery Store and a Winn Dixie in Franklinton. There is a really cute delicious restaurant in Franklinton called Red Brick cafe. It is wonderful for lunch and sooo good! Akita Sushi is always a good option, too. We, also, enjoy driving to Folsom about 13 minutes away to go to Giddy Up Coffeehouse. They hold a wonderful Farmer's Market on the property behind the coffeehouse on Saturdays from 10am until 2 pm. Giddy up has a lovely local art gallery next door to it that is worth visiting and Daisy's Vintage Market in Folsom is fun, too, and just a few steps away.
We have a no pet policy at our farm. Contact owner for 3rd night discount or weekly/monthly discounts.

Fabulous fall
If you are looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting, look no further than Heritage farm. My family and I have been coming here in fall or spring for several years. We love everything about it- the immaculate home, the beautiful pond and property, the outdoor fireplace, the attention to every detail. I promise, one trip to Heritage farm and you will be repeat customers like us! Thanks Ms Ann!

This place is a gem!! We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this beautiful home. Every detail was taken care of, and the host went out of her way to make us feel welcome. There were lots of fun activities for the kids, in a relaxing environment for the adults. We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful property and host
This was the perfect property for outdoors lovers. The lake was beautiful, there was plenty of room for outdoor games, and we really enjoyed the disc golf course! The host was very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended as a quiet getaway.

Host profile image
My name is Ann Satterlee. My husband, Kent and I have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I bought this property from a gentleman who had owned it for over 40 years. The love and care he put into it was evident from the moment we drove onto the property. We believe that it was meant for us to share the beauty and peace it provides with others. This property is a treasure and we consider taking care of it a privilege.

What makes this property unique

The beauty that was created here is really breathtaking! We provide lots of different ways to relax. You can swim in the pond in warmer months or canoe, kayak, paddle boat and try your hand at fishing. If you'd rather play outdoor games, there is a badminton net, ping pong, 3 hole disc golf or cornhole. But if you'd rather just sit still, there's always the back porch, fire pit , small beach or the gazebo, all with a beautiful views of the pond.
