As our guests, we would like to introduce you to the beautiful beach town community of Englewood, which has still maintained it's small town charm – you will not find any high rises here! Englewood is a wonderful diverse community - the ideal destination both for those seeking a unique and relaxing vacation in contact with nature and for those looking for sun, sea and fun. Our kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. Our home presents an open floor plan with ceramic tile through-out. The master bedroom has a large walk in shower and a queen bed. The second and third bedroom share a bathtub/shower. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other 2 twin beds. There is a flat screen TV in the living room. The house has hurricane windows and is built to the highest standards. We have an outside shower at the back of the house, so you can conveniently wash off the sand after a day at the beach. When you return from the beach, relax, unwind or just dream, enjoy and be comfortable on our courtyard or screened-in spacious lanai, Your vacation home is only a 8 minute drive to pristine Englewood beach. Free tennis and pickle ball courts, children's playground and the local library are all within walking distance. Englewood offers various golf courts, serene nature parks, a year-round heated community pool, kiddy's splash pool, boating, fishing, waterside restaurants for casual and fine dining and so much more. Only a 5 minute drive away - a state of the art fitness center is scheduled to open in the fall. You can shop for groceries at Winn Dixie, Publix and Wal Mart, which are all only a few minutes away. In the heart of town on Dearborn Street you can explore a variety of quaint little shops, specialty restaurants or a wine bistro. Thursdays during season drop by the impressive farmers market with life music, organic food, fresh baked goods and so much more. Horseback riding, kayaking, paddle board and jet ski are just a few more of the fun things to do in Englewood.

Clean and comfortable rental

This is a very clean and comfortable rental in a quiet neighborhood. The patio is lovely and there is an outside shower to rinse sand off after you come back from the beach (which is a super easy and short drive from this rental). Roland and Anita are super nice and accommodating. We had an excellent stay from start to finish.

Fabulous Rental

This is by far the best home we're rented through VRBO. It's very clean and in a great location. Extremely quiet neighborhood. Close to beaches, grocery stores and pharmacies. Anita and Roland are wonderful hosts. Very accomodating and helpful. We've already rented for next year.

Sunny-Side-Up Cottage

The house was immaculately clean, it had everything we needed. The location was in a very quiet residential area but only a 10 minute drive to supermarkets, restaurants etc. We play golf & it was perfect for us as there are many excellent golf courses in the immediate area. The owners were easy to contact, quick to respond and very helpful throughout. We loved staying here and would highly recommend it to other guests.

Pristine house, the owners thought of everything you could want or need. Beautiful lanai on the back of the home. Great proximity to beaches, Boca grande, Venice, Punta Gorda and Sarasota. Inside and out so well maintained. The hosts are some great fown to earth people. Loved are stay as usual with Anita and Roland. Very comfortable home. So easy to relax in. Also very well kept. Beautiful home

We’ve never stayed at Englewood, FL before it was always Siesta Key or close to siesta…I would highly recommend Englewood..the home we stayed in was beautiful, had everything needed for a long stay, the owners were excellent to work with, they checked in with us before arriving so they can meet up with us to give us a key to their home, the garage door opener (a plus to have) along with a bottle of wine. The day before leaving they contacted us wishing us safe travels back home…they’re super NICE people also gave us recommendations things to do in the area (restaurants, bars beach activities, farmer’s market etc…)there home was A+…neighborhood was quite and very well kept up! Will definitely book again in the future!

Excellent Stay in Englewood, FL!

We stayed at Anita and Roland's property in Englewood for four weeks and enjoyed every moment of our visit. Anita & Roland were gracious hosts (thank you Roland for the delicious homemade bread!) and welcomed us in-person when we arrived....a very nice way to start our visit. The house exceeded our expectations....it was very clean, well appointed, spacious and use of the garage was a welcomed feature. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and is an easy drive to grocery stores, restaurants and beaches and anything else you might want. We've done many property rentals both here in the US and in other countries as well and this was definitely one of the best. We would stay here again if our travels brings us to southwest Florida. Perfect Paradise

Our 1 month stay at Sunny Side Up Cottage was more than we hoped for! It is true to the description… comfortable beds, the cleanest home we have ever rented on VRBO, well stocked kitchen, 4 bikes to ride in a quiet community, coolers, water toys, beach mats and umbrella, gas grill with full tank.It is a short ride to an Olympic size community pool and to the beaches. Location is east and away from traffic congestion. Everything in the home works! We used our account for YouTube and Netflix. The home is surrounded by lush greenery on 3 sides so you feel secluded from neighbors. There is a home behind the house, but we only saw them a few times. The owners live 5 minutes away and could not be more accommodating! I would highly recommend this gem to all!!

Winter Escape

This home is really nice and has everything you could possibly need for a long stay in the Florida warm sunshine. Englewood is a great area. Anita & Roland are personable and just great people. She called us after we booked to make arrangements to meet us at the house to give us keys and information about the house and area. We have only ever experienced communication with owners via e-mail and text. It was great to actually meet and talk to them.The house is really nice and has everything you need. The 2 outdoor spaces are definitely an added bonus. Being from Michigan it was a real treat to be able to set out front in the morning sun with coffee. Late afternoons and evenings on the Lenai as the sun goes down when we weren't out. Back out front after dark under the stars. The property is very private on 3 sides. The neighborhood is quiet and well-kept, and the residents are very friendly.Englewood beach was closed from Milton. But it was a short drive to Manasota Key, Venice beach & Gasparilla Island all beautiful & have amazing sunsets. Nice golf courses close by and all kinds of shopping & restaurants just minutes away. We will definitely be back!
