Had a wonderful time. Couldnt get closer to the North entrance of yellowstone. White caps everywhere. I would absolutely stay here again, and probably will.
The property was great and right next to the Yellowstone north entrance. The owner is super nice and helpful and the house itself is very clean and cozy. I would stay here again.
The place was clean and in a convenient place. When finding the house it is on the Yellowstone side of the road. Parking is on the back side of the house and walking distance to the places in town. The amenities within were great!
Right across from North Entrance of Yellowstone and close to everything. Town was quaint and apartment was comfortable and clean. We will be back.

The location is perfect! Walkable to gift shops, and food. The place was clean. Free coffee. Can cook. Only downside was, it's basement so when someone is occupying the above unit. It's literally like stomping.. can't sleep.
Property was near and clean. Location is middle of the town of Gardiner. You can walk to everything in town if desired. Only issue is that you can hear the tenants upstairs through the floor. Would recommend to anyone wanting a place to stay while visiting Yellowstone park.
This was a decent size basement apartment. It was perfect for just me to stay, had everything I needed. Even though it’s in the basement, there are a couple of big windows in the bedroom that allow for a lot of sunlight. The only 2 things I didn’t like was how much you can hear the people in the unit above and the towels smelled like they were left in the washing machine for a couple of days.
The living space itself was pleasing once we were able to locate the entrance. We arrived later at night than originally planned and had difficulty finding the entrance off to the right side of the stairs down the small alley between the garage and the main house, after that everything became much better for the stay overall. Neighbors above were noisy to the point where we could hear almost full conversations on the second night past their own quiet hours curfew but not to the level of a party or anything. This is likely just the structure and design of the house seeing as the stay has us in the basement of the main dwelling. Overall, loved the location for the food options and proximity of the park. Definitely hard to beat that!
Nice little studio. It is true that you can hear people upstairs if they are stomping. We had little kids above us and with the amount of time we spent at the place it wasn’t an issue.
This little place was as close to the North entrance of Yellowstone as you could get without being inside of the actual park. It is conveniently located within walking distance of many restaurants & shops. Location was very ideal. We experienced no issues with the property or host during our stay. They made good use of the very small space. As others have mentioned, you can always hear the upstairs tennants, but we were able to drown out the noise somewhat by turning on the provided tower fan. Cleanliness could use some improvement. At one point I went to grab my sock that had slid under the bed. There were several other people's lost socks underneath there, along with food wrappers, dust bunnies, and a plastic water bottle which wasn't ours. Overall, we had a great stay, and this property was perfect for two adults visiting the national park.
Cute but so tiny. Dishes had crusted food on them and most were too high to reach on the shelves. Otherwise fairly clean. Hard to find the entrance. Stuffy and the window crank didn't work. No response from host until 2 days after our stay. We booked this vs hotel for the kitchen, definitely not worth it due to the dishes issue and super tiny mini kitchen/no dining table.

Worst Stay I've Ever Had
To say it is small is an undestatement. No room in bathroom just a sink a toilet, and a small shower. Not much room for any of your stuff. The absolute worst part was that there is a tenant above you that sounds like they are doing a circus act until like 11 pm and then are back at it at 6 am. Needless to say we did not stay the second night and spent less money to rent a hotel room that was comfy and quiet. I would never ever book this place, seems like a money grab from greedy people trying to cram people in every area possible. part were that there is
I didn't even finish bringing my stuff into the rental. This place is not a legitimate vacation rental. A normal hotel room would be bigger. The bed had a plastic water proof cover on it used for people with bladder problems. It had no emergency exit. There was only one way in or out. I don't believe it is up to legal code for a rental. I want a full refund. I have rented through VRBO for years and never had a problem. This is a huge problem.

Overall the place was very clean and adequately appointed. I would have switched the location of the queen-size bed and the sofa/hide-a-bed, so I could watch the TV while sitting up.
Be aware that if anyone is renting the upstairs facility you WILL hear each step and every voice. Other than that, I heartily recommend this property.
A cute basement apartment, but the building has no sound proofing between units. Upstairs occupants woke us at 11:00 pm when they arrived and started to party. After pounding on the ceiling they stopped at midnight but started again before daylight. We had very little sleep that first night. We could hear their conversations and movements as though they were in our room. No upstairs occupants the second night and we slept soundly.
There have been several reviews mentioning how small this place is - one even mentioned it's not a legitimate rental. I certainly wouldn't go that far. It is a legitimate rental. It is small with no place to really hang out. But if you are staying here while vacationing at Yellowstone, you likely aren't there to hang out in your rental. We slept, showered and ate breakfast - all worked fine for our family of 3 which includes one adult child. The location is very good, you are just behind the main street with restaurants and shops. Also as noted in other reviews, it is basically in the basement and you can hear footsteps above - but it didn't disturb our stay or our sleep. We would stay there again.
This rental had a lot of potential. With that said, I don’t believe the owner is honest and up front. This rental is in the basement. Which the description does not mention. The unit above is also the owners and is rented out. We could not sleep, you can hear every little step/movement above you. It is NOT clean. At all. When we got there it was gross. Spider webs in corners. Bugs in corners. Hair on the floor as if it hadn’t been moped or swept. I checked our sheets before getting in them, there was hair on the pillows and in the sheets. The sheets smelled like pee and looked like they hadn’t been washed. The surfaces of the bedside table and desk had water marks on them from cups which showed that it wasn’t wiped down. The bathroom was filthy and really small. The door basically hits the front of the toilet when you open it. Nothing was dusted. There’s only 1 space heater to warm up the apartment so you have to sleep with the bedroom door closed to stay warm. We have a family of 4, we were given 4 towels, no wash cloths (we brought our own luckily). We had to wash our towels at the laundry mat every morning just to have towels for that night, definitely not something you want to be doing on vacation. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere where you have clean sheets and towels and don’t have to do your laundry at the laundry mat next door just to shower.
In the bathroom they give you little lotions and body washes but the lotion was 1/2 full so obviously it wasn’t a new one from the people before us.
Not covid safe.
We spent 3 nights with our family of four and , although it’s small, we had no problems at all (2 adults and 2 teens). We found the place to be exactly as described, clean, and everything was in good working order. I would absolutely book again.
