Our cabin has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and can accommodate up to six people. You will find a nicely equipped kitchen, a hot tub, super-fast WiFi, a large rec room and many other amenities to make your stay comfortable. The cabin is located on a gorgeous wooded lot, surrounded by trees, breathtaking views, and plenty of wildlife.

Conveniently located in Shenandoah Woods, only 0.5 miles from two wedding venues (The Pavilion at Shenandoah Woods and Brenwood Lake Weddings). Beautiful and relaxing cabin in the woods! My friend and I spent the weekend in Cresta Blava celebrating her birthday. The house was just as beautiful as depicted on the website. It was clean, quiet, and we enjoyed the mountain views and star gazing on the deck.The kitchen was well stocked with pots & pans and utensils. They even provided some K-cups for the Keurig, dishwasher detergent, soap, paper towels and a starter of trash bags. It was more house than we needed as we didn't even touch the game room, but it was a perfect weekend. Would definitely stay here again.

Holiday Vacation

My husband and I, our 3 and 6 year old sons, and my in-laws had an excellent time at Cresta Blava! The list of inclusions is more extensive than most rentals in my experience, and it is a beautiful, well-kept cabin with a breathtaking view. Wisteria Farm and Vineyard nearby has a playground for kids, and good wines. We also went hiking in the Shenandoah national park and to a winery further south. Overall, great location and accommodations!

Great Time

Stayed at Cresta Blava with my husband, children and grandchild for an extended weekend getaway and it was blissful. The house has a great layout with spectacular views. Katie has quick response time to questions and we would stay here agin.

The property was clean, spacious and welcoming. It had a great deck and beautiful views. It was 20-30 min from the National park, luray caverns and rafting. It was a wonderful home base! We hope to be back.

Beautiful Views!

This place was so amazing! They had a lot of cooking utensils, games, and the view was seriously amazing. The only downside is that the hot tub didn't seem to get hot (would only get warm). We found the cutest winery on a farm only 5 mins from the house too. Would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular property

Four of us (2 couples) stayed here while hiking Shenandoah and having great meals (Watch & Warrant) and coffee (Broad Porch) in nearby Luray. The photos do not lie & the previous glowing reviews are accurate. Everything was spotless, including the hot tub. It feels nice and secluded but you truly are near everything. The property owner was immediately responsive when a minor issue came up. The kitchen is well equipped, though if you are a serious cook bring your spices as there was just salt, pepper & olive oil. But really that is a minor point/heads up. We loved staying here, loved the area, and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly highly recommend!

Perfection!

We just returned home from a 3 night stay. I am the first to admit that I'm difficult to please... but wow... if I could give this property 10 stars I would! Location was perfect. Quiet and peaceful but close to Luray and Skyline Drive. View was... well.. I'm speechless. When you open the door, the view through those windows and on the deck (and from the bedrooms) takes your breath away. Cleanliness is important to me. Honestly, I thought I was staying in a brand new house. Amenities were plentiful.. more fully stocked than other properties we've rented. Fire table on the deck was just perfect on the cool, crisp nights. I could go on and on... When I first found this property and saw 71 5 star reviews I thought... is that even possible? 71 glowing reviews? Trust me, it's true! The only negative was having the leave... but we'll be back!

Cresta Blava is the loveliest home in which I have ever stayed. The views from the deck were our favorite place to stay, as was the living room with the fireplace. We were 6 women, all family, and everyone was so pleased with our accommodations. Everything was sparkling clean, and there were so many very thoughtful details, including comfy cushions for the chairs on the deck, extra blanket throws for chilly mornings, and an incredibly well stocked kitchen, complete with every spice you could possibly need for cooking. Any questions I had were immediately answered. there were also very clear instructions about how things worked, which were very helpful. I would caution against driving a sports car up the hill to the house, because the road is a bit rough; our large SUV was fine. We would all love to return! Thank you so much for your hospitality, we had a wonderful family reunion!

Shenandoah family vacation

This cabin was absolutely spotless! It had a well stocked kitchen, excellent wifi and comfy furniture in the livingroom. We loved having the 3 bedrooms each with their own attached bathroom. And the view from the back deck was amazing! We didn't use the hotub because during our stay the temps were averaging near 100, but we very much appreciated the air-conditioning and the multiple thermostats to keep each area the perfect temperature. Highly recommend!!

Late birthday trip

Visited with my boyfriend as a late birthday trip for myself. We have visited this area of Virginia several times and have always enjoyed it. Cresta Blava was definitely the biggest, cleanest, and best maintained property we have ever stayed at. We both hope to return for a longer vacation in the future!

Wonderful stay at a beautiful cabin

We stayed with our 2 year old, 5 year old and two friends and the house worked out perfectly for us. We especially appreciated the availability of baby stuff (pack and play, baby gate, high chair), beautiful views, and telescope. The rooms were lovely and clean, the beds were comfortable. We had a small hiccup and the owners were extremely responsive and someone was at the cabin within 30 minutes to help us. All around a wonderful stay and we will definitely be staying again in the future.

Wonderful place

Of the four cabins that I’ve rented this one is the best so far. It is beautiful and spacious. It’s in excellent condition, and has great amenities. It felt very private, even though it’s not very far from the main roads. I highly recommend it, and will probably rent it again.

Great weekend getaway

In looking for a place to stay for a wedding weekend, our 3 couple friend group had a few “must have” items! One was a view, one was a hot tube, and the last was three bedrooms with king beds and 3 separate bathrooms! When we found this gem we knew we had hit the jackpot!! It checked ALL THREE “must haves”! We spent hours in the hot tube, took in the views from the porch balcony, and ventured into Luray for a tour of the caverns and the best lunch. The house was clean, welcoming, and well stocked!

What a wonderful, clean and cozy home….nestled in the woods on top of a hill overlooking what seemed like a little valley. This place had the most spectacular views, all amenities as your own home, and most important…just peaceful and surrounded by beauty! Thanks Katie for allowing us to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in your home…we might just have to make it a tradition every year!

Mountain Weekend

We had a great stay at Cresta Blava! The house was exactly like the pictures and very clean! Perfect set up for 3 couples! The road leading up to the house is gravel and a little washed out in parts but definitely doable in a sedan with a little caution.

Joe was raised in New Jersey and fell in love with Virginia the very first day he arrived at his alma mater, Virginia Tech. Katie and Joe became avid B&B and cabin renters over a decade ago across Page and Rappahannock counties as a way to escape the hustle and bustle of their Northern Virginia based careers. After discovering Cresta Blava – where we stayed as guests 6 times ourselves - we were hooked! So much so that when the original owners decided to hand their legacy to someone else, we jumped at the chance to take the reins with the hope of bringing its splendor to you with the same care and attention that they did.
