The stay here was such a dream especially for my 2 dogs. They were at peace during 4th of July. The cabin has EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Chris also has a welcome book that is an ultimate guide to the cabin itself and Pine Mountain Club. It’s a few minutes away from restaurants, grocery store, and the recreation center which is an absolute plus. We will definitely stay here again!

This stay was in a beautiful location and quiet neighborhood with a fantastic view from the balconies. Host was very responsive and helpful. Very cozy home with everything that you might need and all rooms were very spacious. Would definitely consider staying again!

Beautiful location with great views! Everythung in the cabin was clean and comfortable. Close to the village with restaurants and a small market. The host was very helpful and friendly. They answered all my questions and gave detailed easy to understand directions to the property and instructions on where everything was and how to use it. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Chris' cabin was tidy, cozy, and has a huge DVD collection. My wife and I enjoyed our weekend stay, and liked that we could walk into town nearby the cabin.

This was a perfect stay for myself and my dog. There are so many hiking trails / places to enjoy nature within a 10 minute drive in all directions. I highly reccomend this stay if you are looking for peaceful quite and to get out of the city.

This is our second time going for Labor Day weekend. This cabin is a great place to stay. You feel like you are away from the city but it's only a 90 minute drive. The cabin has all that you need to enjoy a weekend in the woods... and a little bit of swimming.

This property is amazing! I could write a few paragraphs and on about it! Honestly it's a perfect location is rustic and creeky and all things we were looking for! It was perfect for our dog as well. Hope to stay here again!! This made for a wonderful birthday weekend and much need relaxation.

We treasure each of our stays in this family built and owner maintained cabin. It is nestled in the forest with wonderful views of the stream-fed meadow below and the mountains across the valley. Amazing wildlife sightings from the deck are frequent. Chris, one of the builders and the owner, has always been responsive to our needs and questions. This comfortable and perfect-for-our-needs cabin, along with it’s owner, keep us coming back again and again.

Nestled in the pines

Quaint cabin nestled amid the pines-a nature-lover's dream come true. Went to bed admiring the starry night and woke up to the sounds of birds chirping, then headed out on a different hike each day. The hikes (and much more) are well desribed in the host's folder. The kitchen is well supplied and inviting to prepare your own meals throughout your stay. Overall cozy cabin interior (especially the downstairs). Hot shower and great-working heating system was a big plus for someone like me who is always cold. Great host. Thank you, Chris!

Great location, wonderful host

Wonderful location right on the path that runs between the homes and town. Host went above and beyond on communication, even monitoring road closures for us and proactively changing our check out time when there was an overnight snowfall. DVD library and game selection was excellent and there were plenty of spices in the kitchen. All in all, a great stay.

Lack of cleanliness

This particular property, appears as though not to have been cleaned since the last people stayed. Reached out to the owner twice in the first 12 hours. We are four days in and have still not heard from him. As I told him, I’m not looking for a break on the price. But the fact that there was a cleaning Fee charged, and we were expected to clean also was very ironic in the fact that we received it in an unclean manner. Left it better than we found it, however.
