A 1 bedroom with a King bed in the bedroom and a comfortable sectional sofa in the main room. Needed touches include a full kitchen, TV and DVD player, and an excellent patio that floats above the beach. The kitchen is small but complete. A nice comfortable place to enjoy a weekend getaway in Rocky Point.

The Sonoran Sea is one of the Sonoran Group properties that dot the beach here in Rocky Point. For good reason, they are well regarded as places to get the best of a stay on the coast of Mexico here in Sonora State.

Great Space for a Couples Getaway

The service was friendly, the accommodations were clean and tidy. Everything needed to make a great shrimp dinner was available. Remember to take some kitchen towels. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Not really one was too cold other was fine but didn’t feel welcomed. The staff never offered to help us open an umbrella for shade nor were we ever offered drinks from the bar like other guests. It’s sad because we have stayed there before but not sure we will be staying there any more.

Great Condo

Overall this was a great condo choice. In the past we always seem to have issues with getting hot water and water pressure but this condo was great for both of those! It was also well stocked with everything we needed. The only thing we were missing was washcloths, and even after I told the front desk, we never got them. Overall good though!

Not as expected

The view was beautiful. The grounds and pools were in great shape. The condo was less than expected. Lightbulbs burned out which I couldn't get replaced. No bottle water which they are supposed to provide. Front door didn't lock. Blinds broken. Furniture quite dirty.

Great weekend at Sonoran Sea

We stayed in unit SW 611 at Sonoran Sea Resort. Room was perfect for our weekend stay. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. Room was clean and comfortable. We would stay in this unit again.

Great location, beautiful view.

Front doors locks need to be repaired and adjusted. Extension cord and two wet towels were left on the bathroom vanity. Bathtub drain needs to be cleaned, water goes down very slow. Light by the front door doesn't work.
