Mountain top condo with amazing long-range panoramic views from every room makes this a perfect location for short or longer term getaways. Smoky Mountain National Park entrance is only a few minutes away for our outdoor enthusiasts. It is very common to see lots of wildlife on property including bears, rabbits, turkeys etc... and be engulfed by the quiet and serene solitude of nature. Just a short drive to Pigeon Forge and about 10 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg where there is much to explore and do. The areas offer white water rafting, ziplining, horseback riding and lots of hiking for folks of every level.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Gigi was great in responding to us and providing check in information. The only issue was getting up and down the steep mountain at night but that's not the fault of the owner. The accomodations were clean and start up supplies were good. The amenities, sauna and hottub were nice. The furnishings were a bit dated and blinds in the bedrooms were somewhat tattered but everything was comforable. The kitchen was plenty big for our needs. The technology, Streaming, TVs, and WiFi were excellent. Overall we felt the value was good and we would stay again.

While going up and down the mountain was scary, the views from the home were so spectacular that you forget about the climb! The beds were comfortable and the home had everything we needed!

New experiences - such as mountain driving - can be intimidating for first timers or super exciting - just like any new experience. You just need to drive slower because of the spectacular views that are so distracting - and instead of straight boring roads - you get to maneuver around the mountain curves. The roads are very very safe and hundreds of people travel them every day.

The condo was great! The host was awesome! The views were spectacular! The bear sittings we’re amazing! We saw at least one bear every day except the day we left. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back!

Wish we could have stayed longer

The home is beautiful and stocked with everything you would want. You cans sit on the porch and see the mountains. The winding roads and views are great. There is a book with maps to take trips to see waterfalls and more. Definatley would stay again in this cabin.

What a view!

Very clean and comfortable. The views were breathtaking! Kids enjoyed the pool and game room. I enjoyed coffee on the balcony. Gigi was wonderful with communication. We would definitely stay again.

Worth it!

The location of Gigi's chalet is phenomenal. The views are worth the drive up the mountain. It was also conveniently located to Smoky Mountain National Park trails It was a good size and had all the basics you needed. Communication was quick.

Great views from the very top of the mountain road.

The view was the best thing about this rental. Wonderful Sunrises! If you need anything make sure you get it before coming up to the rental as your at the very top of the mountain road. That is how you get such great views! Definitely will come back to the Smoky Mountains again!

Perfect weekend getaway for 2

This condo is just what we needed to get away for the weekend. We love this condo complex because of the views and how high in the mountain it is. Even though it is up higher on the mountain, downtown Gatlinburg is a few minutes away. Great for whatever you desire to to in Gatlinburg. Gigi was an awesome host. She made sure we had everything we needed and then some before we checked in. Will stay again!

My husband Yvon and I are both originally from Quebec, Canada. His roots are Native Indian and his primary language is French and he speaks English with a very charming accent. I'm an Army Brat born in Fort Hood, Texas with European roots and speak fluent English, French and German. We moved to Florida to escape the harsh Canadian winters but are finding the extreme summer heat unbearable.

Why they chose this property

In early 2016 we took a self-planned vacation to High Chalet - this exact complex - and we fell in love with the area. We can't retire yet - but we plan to settle down in the Great Smoky Mountains soon - and this is our first step into paradise. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

This hideaway in the mountains is very special - surrounded by majestic mountains and fluffy clouds - wildlife all around. You can hike right from your front door or just to the nearby picnic tables and enjoy the fresh air and nature at its best.
