Cottage in its green setting, in the middle of its wooded park, enjoying a superb view of the Normandy grove. Large half-timbered house and thatched roof built in a traditional way in the heart of the Orne, in the Normandy Maine Natural Park and close to the Ecouves Forest. Many historical and natural sites, many hiking trails in this country of breeding and stud farms.
200 kms from Paris, 1 hour from the landing beaches, 1h30 from Mont Saint Michel.
With family or friends, you will relax in this calm and relaxing environment.

Nous avons éffectué un séjour de 4 nuits dans cette belle demeure et avons apprécié le charme et le confort d'une époque surannée. La vaisselle était suffisante ( nous étions 6 ) et nous avons pu nous réchauffer avec l'immense cheminée et le bois fourni à volonté ( en plus des radiateurs évidemment ) A noter l'excellent traiteur à ARGENTAN Preudhomme , et le restaurant LA SUITE à ALENCON.Nous recommandons.

arbre de paix dans l'Orne

Très belle chaumière Normande située dans un très grand parc arboré où nous avons pu réunir nos enfants et petits-enfants. Grandes pièces à vivre, des chambres bien équipées avec leur salle de bain. Très apprécié celle de la chambre et sa salle de bain au rez-de-chaussée. Petit déjeuner ou apéro sur la terrasse tout en profitant d'une vue très dégagée sur l'environnement. Cyclistes amateurs ou randonneurs peuvent à loisirs trouver leur bonheur. Nous avons pass une huitaine de jours fort agréable.

Séjour très agréable au calme

Superbe chaumière vaste à l'intérieur et avec beaucoup d'espace à l'extérieur. Vue splendide très dégagée. La maison est bien équipée avec tout ce qu'il faut. S'il manque quelque chose, Marguerite et son mari vous l'apporte ! (nous voulions manger une raclette !!!) . les chambres sont bien aménagés et agréable. Les 2 salons bien agréables avec une cheminée prête à fonctionner. Nous avons aussi utilisé le barbecue (vrai barbecue avec du bois à profusion). On sent que Marguerite est à notre écoute pour que notre séjour se déroule de façon parfaite et … ce fut le cas :-) J'espère que nous aurons l'occasion de revenir.

Que de bons moments !...

Nous avons passé un merveilleux week-end dans cette belle demeure pleine de charme où nous avons tout apprécié : l'accueil sympathique de Marguerite et de son époux, les salons spacieux et confortables, les chambres toutes prêtes à nous recevoir, le nombre des salles de bain, la magnifique terrasse et sa vue époustouflante,... difficile de tout énumérer. La maison est très bien équipée pour 10 personnes. Et comme la météo a été clémente, nous avons pu profiter pleinement de ce que la maison et son environnement nous offraient. Un grand merci à nos hôtes.

Grande maison agréable

Moments très agréables passés dans cette grande chaumière. Chacun avait son propre espace. Très grand salon permettant de passer du temps tous ensemble devant la belle cheminée. L’équipement de la maison est conforme à la description.

délicieuse semaine en normandie

Séjourner dans la demeure de Marguerite fut un plaisir réel. La grande maison et son domaine boisé offre tout ce qu'on attend d'un séjour dans la normandie des riants paysages ruraux, des villages aux clochers d'antan, des châteaux et des jardins hors des sentiers battus. Nous avons profité pendant une semaine du silence, de l'intimité et de l'atmosphère élégante et familiale de la maison de Marguerite qui nous a accueillit et dit au revoir personnellement avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Elle a d'ailleurs été joignable pendant tout le séjour et réside à proximité. Ce fut un grand plaisir que nous renouvellerons certainement tant il reste de belles choses à voir alentours. Merci Marguerite !

Week-end de Pâques dans un lieu de rêve.

Une maison avec beaucoup de charme, idéale pour une grande famille avec enfants. L’espace extérieur est juste magnifique et parfait comme immense terrain de jeu pour les enfants. Notre hôte nous avait gentiment préparé une belle flambée qui a réchauffé notre dernière soirée, nous étions si bien au coin du feu. Il existe de très belles balades à pieds a découvrir tout autour de la maison. Un lieu de rêve où nous espérons revenir un jour.

Superbe chaumière, vue magnifique

La chaumière se trouve au beau milieu d'un petit bois, ce qui donne une grande impression d'espace et de calme. C'est une propriété rustique mais qui contient tout le nécessaire et qui a beaucoup de charme. L'accueil était chaleureux et nous avons passé un excellent moment !

Merveilleuse chaumière !

Groupe de 10 amis, nous avons passé un séjour de 4 jours fort agréable dans la chaumière de Marguerite et Guy. Leur accueil chaleureux, le confort de la maison, l'espace intérieur, la vue sur la campagne environnante, le bois fleuri entourant la maison,... tout a été parfait, et nous recommandons cette location. BEAUTIFUL HOUSE IN A BEAUTIFUL ENVIROMENT!!!

We enjoyed a lot our holidays in Normandie, not only for sport but also tourism. The "chaumière" is located in a very quiet place, near a forest, small villages and only 10/12 km from Argentan. It's confortable enough for a big family or friends group. The owner, Marguerite, very gentle and friendly with us. She offered bikes for the children and invited us to her own house and see the horses. Her husband, very helpful in order to solve the very few and small inconvenients happened: for example, the dishwasher didn't work and they had no problem in buying a new one for us. Bit by bit they are upgrading the old parts of the house. Conclusion: a very recommendable place to stay at. Hopefully we will come back next year or sometime in the future.

Superbe maison et propriétaires charmants

Excellent séjour dans cette belle demeure normande avec un immense parc et une forêt. Très propre ; superbes cheminées. Propriétaires très attentionnés, bois offert pour les cheminées, linge de maison et de toilette à disposition. Nous y retournerons.
