Perfect for a large family!

We found this farmhouse through Vrbo as we wanted a decent sized house for a large family group. The house was perfect with a decent sized garden and plenty of room for us all to spread out. The stairs were a little bit tricky but the rooms and bathrooms were well appointed. Angelique answered our many questions and the girls loved Tsunami the cat too! The location is ideal for visiting Falaise, Argentan (nearest big town) and Le Mans is not too far either. Bayeux and the Normandy beaches are about an hour's drive too. There are no shops for several kilometres so be prepared to drive anywhere / everywhere. The Intermarche in Argentan is the best supermarket for stocking up. Also worth a look, if the weather is nice, is Le Lac de Rabondage, about 14kms from the house. A good day out if the weather is warm. Altogether a very relaxing, straightforward and enjoyable holiday.

Nice house

très jolie maison mais il n'y a pas 5 chambres contrairement à ce qui est dit dans l'annonce. Il y a 4 chambres, dont une pour enfants, plus une nurserie rattachée à une chambre. Donc, convient à 3 familles, moins à 4 familles (la 4è famille était sur le pallier). Il manque un mode d'emploi à l'arrivée dans la maison car on a tout cherché...et parfois trouvé à la fin. Plus la petite fiche classique "où avoir du pain, un docteur" etc... certains trucs commencent à manquer d'entretien, comme le barbecue qu'on a bien retapé avant de s'en servir. Il est dehors sans protection, dommage ! C'était propre mais dommage le frigo de la buanderie n'était pas branché, résultat on a dû attendre 24h avant qu'il soit frais... dommage sur 24h. Bref, des détails mais dommage qu'on ne puisse pas mieux communiquer avec la proprio, super difficile à joindre avant le WE.

Belle longère décorée avec goût . Beaucoup d'espace pour se sentir à l'aise . La cuisine est très bien équipée . Pas de chance avec le temps pour visiter les environs mais un feu de cheminée nous a reconforté.

Séjour familial excellent

On a passé un excellent séjour en famille, la propriété est vraiment superbe et respecte le descriptif du site. Beautiful property!

This property was by far the best we have ever stayed in. Very clean, comfortable, and the garden is beautiful! The location is convenient to visit the major sights of Normandy. My kids loved running around the yard and seeing the neighboring horses and cows. I wish we had time for a longer visit. I would definitely stay here again!
