Sea Salt Escape is part of the pleasure island beach collection and was just featured on HGTV for its world class charm. A beautiful single story, brand new house built in 2019. With gorgeous views of the ocean and a short stroll across the street to the beach. It is easily accessible with minimum steps to your front door from the driveway. It sleeps 8 people among 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 extra-large open living room/gathering space, Queen beds in each room including queen bunk beds. WiFi & SmartTC's is available for our guests. This home is the perfect getaway for your family vacation with endless views of the beach. Enjoy your own private romantic getaway. Guests have multiple accesses to the beach. The beach, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping are all within walking distance. Wear your tennis shoes. There are rentals for almost all water activities, from setting up a beach day with umbrella’s to cooling off by paddle boarding. For all day "Fun in the Sun" our favorite nearby spot is Kure Beach. With newly created bike trails on Pleasure Island you could ride for miles from the freshwater channel to beach front.
You are conveniently located between Carolina Beach boardwalk, downtown Kure Beach, the Aquarium and Fort Fisher. Pick your activity level, from strolling on the beach, to kayaking on the ocean or drive an ATV in the sand with the salty air in your face.

Great place very comfortable, a little hard to Navigate to beach access with little ones but manageable. Beach was pristine and the unit was clean and as described. Best one we have stayed at in 10 years

Overall we had a great stay at this cottage. The communication with the owners was great as well. The location is a bit tough due to the busyness of the street and getting to the beach access. Is it doable, absolutely but it is just busy. Overall we loved our stay and would book again.

Perfect GetAway Stay!

Spacious, simple boho elegance...yards away from the ocean. The adults delighted in listening to our favorite songs on vinyl while the kids enjoyed the vintage video games in their bunk bed hideaway! The property was immaculately clean and just perfect for our family getaway.

We were in town for a 3 night stay to attend a family members wedding. Loved the Location. House was VERY clean and accommodating for the 5 of us. Our only suggestion would be to place a small dresser/drawers in the bedrooms for clothes.

Cute Kure house!

We rented this home on extremely short notice and Lary still made sure the property was prepped, cleaned, and ready for us! The rental price included everything, so there were no surprise cleaning or linen fees, which was wonderful! Plenty of room for our family, great location across the street from the beach (short walk to public access). Our kids LOVED the bean bags! Thanks for a great stay!

Very nice beach home.

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful Kure Beach home. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The house is laid out well and could easily sleep 8. The street is very busy and there is really no where for little ones to play outside. We did walk about 2 blocks to the closest public beach access. Easy walk and beautiful beach.

Beautiful property

This home was exactly as listed on VRBO. Great amenities, plenty of towels, nice beds. It was very spacious and comfortable. All appliances worked fantasticly. As with any beach property, the water pressure in the shower is nill but the bathrooms were updated and beautiful. The host was very responsive. It is a short walk to the beach, albeit on a semi-busy street. The beach was clean and not over crowded. Everyone we encountered was extremely nice and welcoming.

Great house right near the beach

Loved our stay at Kure Beach in this property. We had a slight hiccup when we arrived but the owner was extremely attentive and made sure everything was fixed for us as quickly as possible. The house is cozy and close to beach. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars overall is due to the fact that the house has no curtains in it and with how close it is to the other houses and condos, the lights from those houses shine right into the bedrooms at night and make it difficult to get to sleep. If you’re not bothered by that then this is a perfect place for you 😁

Short Stay

The house is in a great location, only a 5 min walk to the nearest public beach access. The house was very clean. The house does not have any items for the beach such as towels, chairs or umbrella so you must bring your own. The kitchen had most essential items. The only negative was the communication with the housing management for this property. I asked a few questions right before going on the trip and while the responses were quick they never answered my questions it was always skirting around my questions which I found odd. Also the check-in process— we did not receive our access code to the door like we were told we would. We were told if we rang the ring doorbell management would answer and give us the code but no one answered. They called our phone soon after and gave it to us after I texted them but it was a bit annoying. All in all it was a great stay but the management could use some work to make it a 5 out of 5.

You asked about providing beach equipment and we suggested just minutes later an outfitter in town. With being on an island at times Wifi is intermittant and reception and communication can be even worse. That is why management called you just after receiving notification you had arrived. A smart door access code is created between that hour just before checking in and when all service providers have confirmed our property is in tip top shape and guests can enter. Return to Kure Beach

This was our second time staying in this home by exactly 3 years. It was great to return to something familiar and we were not disappointed. Over the pandemic, I had tried to return to this home because we loved it so much the first time we stayed in 2019. Unfortunately it was not available the times we needed it until finally this year it worked out. The owners enclosed the outdoor shower which was one of our favorite updates. Also, they added a fabulous fire pit out front with Adirondack chairs which we enjoyed every night of our stay. The home was super clean and well appointed. The proximity to the beach access is great and the view of the ocean out the front window was so relaxing in the morning from the awesome custom kitchen table. We can’t say enough about the owners. Lary was extremely responsive and even had new oven mitts run over within an hour of us letting him know there were none. They truly have kept the house so nice over the years and added nice new upgrades. I really appreciated that Lary reached out to me to see if there was anything we could recommend when they do the next round of refresh to the property. It’s this caring for the people who rent their property that makes them stand out from other hosts. When I discovered I had left sentimental jewelry in a bedside nightstand days after we checked out, Lary called me as soon as he received my message and arranged for my son who attends UNCW to go and look in the house. My jewelry was still there and recovered safely. For that, I am forever grateful. We will definitely return to Kure Beach in the future and would stay at this home in a heartbeat! The home was comfortable and spacious for my family of 4 for 4 days. I would definitely recommend to others looking for a nice and comfortable place to stay and explore Kure Beach and the surrounding areas.

Everything was perfect

Great communication! house was very clean! we ate out a few times but majority of the time, we cooked in the kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped. We bought fresh seafood from the local market and Food Lion was not far away. Beach was not far. It’s January so we had 3 good warm days at the beach but still a good relaxing stay. Neighbors and people nearby were friendly.

Such a beautiful property. The pictures don’t lie. It was so nice to wake up each day and walk into the living room with a peek at the ocean. Super easy check in, and Lary was an attentive host. We planned to cook a couple meals, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. Situated not far from the pier, easy drive to Fort Fisher. Worth every penny.

Lovely beach house

Easy check in with access code. Very friendly and helpful property managers. Very clean home. Kids loved the Big Joe beanbag chairs. Excellent location about 3-5 minutes walking distance from public beach access (across the street). In the part of Kure Beach nearer Ft Fisher, so much less crowded. Very nice stay with absolutely no complaints.
