Located just outside the village of Santa Venerina, at the intersection of Taormina, Catania, Etna and the sea, Villa EtnaSicily boasts a private swimming pool, an enchanting panorama and a well-kept garden with lawn, palm trees and colorful Bougainville.

The villa has been recently renovated and consists of a main house and an annex connected by a covered terrace and a pergola, ideal for outdoor dining.

The main house is spread over two floors:

- On the first floor there are three double bedrooms, two bathrooms (with shower), a living room and a covered balcony overlooking the garden and the swimming pool.

- On the ground floor there is a large living / dining room with kitchen, a double bedroom, a single room and a bathroom (with tub).

In the annex there are a double bed, a single bed, a bathroom and a kitchen with a wood oven and a fireplace.

The swimming pool (10x5 m; and from 1 to 3 m deep) has a diving board and is located next to a pleasant Aeolian-style terrace with sea and garden views. The swimming pool is open from April 1st until the end of October.

In Villa EtnaSicily time passes effortlessly while relaxing under the many shaded areas or contemplating the view of the sea and Etna from one of its terraces. If you want a little walk, you will be happy to take a pinwheel in the nearby village of Zafferana Etnea, very nice. If, on the other hand, you are in the mood to explore the wonders of eastern Sicily, you will soon realize how much this villa has a strategic position.

I recommend this property. It is well-situated and well-cared for. The grounds are amazing. The property manager is fluent in English and very helpful. As in every property we stayed in this trip (three different ones) each needs to secure new beds - box springs and mattresses.

Bon sejour dans la villa

Très bel extérieur, piscine très belle. A l'étage, espace nuit de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain avec un coin télé. très agréable. Refait à neuf. Le negatif : Le rez-de-chaussée est par contre très moyen. Ça aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement, de la cuisine et de la chambre. Celle ci est Très humide, avec une minuscule fenêtre. La Literie du bas aurait besoin d'être changé. Le lit bébé aussi... je pense que le mauvais temps y est pour beaucoup mais nous avions des odeurs de remontées d'égoût dans la salle de bain. Et Il manque un lave vaisselle ! Nous avons tout de même passé une bonne semaine, l'accueil était très sympa.

Thanks for your review, I would just like to point out that you have taken the week of the Medicane tornado which brought heavy rain and wind with storm surges and disasters throughout eastern Sicily. Fortunately, the house has withstood this calamitous event very well. Just a little bit of humidity. Nothing compared to all the damage that has been there. I felt sorry for you for not having found the good weather. with regard Mara.

Un séjour bucolique

Nous avons été accueillis avec gentillesse par Mara qui a répondu rapidement à nos demandes. La terrasse, la piscine, le jardin, la pergola où nous avons pris tous nos repas, c'était magique! Un grand espace où il fait bon vivre. Cependant, le rez-de-chaussée manque d’amour. La cuisine est exiguë pour un grand groupe et les fauteuils pour s’asseoir quasi inexistants, mais heureusement la belle température nous a permis d'être à l’extérieur. Le coin piscine est magnifique et nous en avons bien profité. Les jardins sont remplis de beaux massifs de fleurs et de verdure. La chambre du rez-de-chaussée est sombre car on y trouve qu’une mini fenêtre. Un escalier très étroit en colimaçon vous amène au 2e étage qui a été refait et qui est moderne et propre. Les salles de bain sont très belles mais aucune chambre n’a sa salle de bain. Enfin, l’annexe n’a pas été utilisée car l’odeur de renfermé est persistante et l’ameublement est vieux et défraîchi. C’est dommage car l’endroit est joli. En résumé, nous avons adoré notre séjour surtout parce qu’il a fait beau.

Nice house with super garden and pool

We have lived in the house for 2 weeks and have been really happy with it. The house was nice and clean and the garden and pool are absolutely stunning. The house is well located in relation to Catania, Etna and other sights. However, it requires a car. Mara was a really sweet and helpful host. We can only recommend the house.

Wir haben 1 Woche Gemeinschaftsurlaub mit zwei Familien (10 Erw.) in der landestypischen Villa mit sehr schöner Gartenanlage und großem Swimmingpool gemacht . Großzügige Ausstattung von Zimmern und Bädern und viel Platz im Haus und ringsherum. Mit dem Auto sind umliegende Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell zu erreichen. Traumhaft schön.
