About this property
Townhouse on Colonial Lake, Near the Battery, King Street, and Marinas
Charmingly Charleston is an ideally situated townhouse located across the street from Colonial Lake and Moultrie Park in downtown Charleston's Historic District. It is a perfect spot for visitors who want to really enjoy living in Charleston like a local! Our charming home away from home is a lovely place to rest your head while visiting Charleston for a month or longer.
Decorated in a quirky, relaxed Lowcountry theme, Charmingly Charleston offers two bedrooms, one and a half baths, living room, separate dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry room. The primary bedroom is large with a walk-in closet and a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom is cozy and has a day bed with trundle and a writing desk.
We are located South of Broad, on Colonial Lake, near the Battery, the Safe Harbor Marinas, and within walking or biking distance of the Medical University of South Carolina and College of Charleston. A nice walk or pedi-cab ride away you will also find the City Market, Gibbes Museum, and the fabulous shopping & dining of King Street.
Enjoy Charleston's wonderful restaurants, antique shops, historic and ghost walking tours, horse drawn carriages, tours of historic homes, harbor cruises, and the South Carolina Aquarium all nearby!
It is also an easy commute to Boeing or a jaunt across the peninsula to Charleston Law School. Additionally you are just a short drive from five beaches, seven marinas, and more golf courses that I can recall.
Don't wait, just grab your toothbrush and come on!
Interested in staying longer? Ask me about our lease rates for three or more months that include housekeeping, Internet, and utilities.
Please note, that per Charleston's draconian ordinances, we are a monthly rental and do not rent by the night. However, at these fabulous rates, you can book for a month for the cost of two weeks in the party district!
Cancellation Policy
We are not the Hilton, and when you make a reservation, we hold the space for you and turn away other guests so you will have this special place. People searching for monthly rentals usually book 6-12 months in advance, as such we are not able to offer “flexible” cancellations.
If you have any questions, please contact me. We love hosting and sharing our city with others, and we hope to see you soon!

About the host
Hosted by Maxine

This was my home for years before moving to Washington, DC. I hope you will enjoy visiting as much as I loved living here. I am a real estate agent licensed in SC and VA - if you have any questions about Charleston or would like to talk with a Realtor, I know several I can recommend for you.
Why they chose this property
It is perfectly located Downtown on the quiet side of the peninsula. You have all of the charm of being in the historic district without all of the tourist traffic. If you are driving, you will also enjoy two off-street parking spaces, a rare find in this part of town!
I love being across the street from Colonial Lake and the tennis courts. My dog loves being adjacent to the Horse Lot, a park where all of the local dogs gather.

What makes this property unique
The location is fabulous... you are downtown near the Battery and King Street but out of the heavily trafficked French Quarter. We have hosted everyone from visiting faculty at MUSC and Spoleto artists, to people relocating to the area and those who just enjoy visiting like a local.
