Find yourself right in the center of the majestic Rockies at this beautiful six-bedroom getaway located at Elkhorn in Sun Valley Idaho. Nestled just minutes from the slopes of Sun Valley Ski Resort and the tranquil trails of Sawtooth National Forest, this property offers the perfect blend of mountain adventure and cozy comfort. Located directly on the Sun Valley bike and jogging path with over 35 miles of paved trails. Also, with over 800 square feet of outdoor decks/patios enjoy the great mountain vistas in all directions.

For the skiers the free River Run red line bus service can be hailed for a ride or dropped off right out front. Or for those who want to drive to the River Run lodge/free parking, we are a quick 5-7 minute drive. At home, you can load/unload your skis to the ski racks in the garage to store your skis when done for the day. Step inside the mudroom between the garage and family room to remove your ski gear and store your ski equipment for the next day. Don’t forget to put your boots( up to 6 pairs) on the boot/gear dryer for warm and dry boots for the next day. For those who don’t ski or need a break, there are also 6 pairs for snowshoes with some great snow shoeing exercise and scenery right out back on the golf course.

Step inside, enjoy the new kitchen, complete with island stovetop microwave, wall oven, refrigerator and countertop appliances (air fryer, toaster, espresso, keurig, coffee maker) whip up delicious meals. Gather around the dining table or breakfast bar and savor your creations, or step out onto the deck for outdoor dining to enjoy the wildlife & fresh mountain air. For your outdoor cooking pleasure, two grills are provided: a Blackstone flattop griddle and a Weber Spirit grills.

When it's time to unwind, sink into the ample family-room and catch a movie on the Roku TV, or challenge your friends to a game of codenames or Jenga. Afterwards, retreat to the outdoor hot tub to soothe your muscles after a day on the slopes or trails.

With 6 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, clean linens, and a washer and dryer, you'll have all the essentials for a hassle-free stay. And with the convenience of a travel crib and air conditioning, this home is perfect for families and groups.

We had a great week in Sun Valley at this house. Location on the golf course with a beautiful back deck view allowed us to visit and spend time outdoors. The bike path was great for running, walking or biking. A few of the young adults enjoyed the pool/hot tub at the community area. We spent a great day at Redfish Lake and also enjoyed many hikes in the area. The town of Ketchum was a short 10 min drive with many great choices for restaurants.

Great Sun Valley stay

Enjoy our stay here in mid-June. We actually had snow one day of our stay and enjoyed cool late-spring/early summer temperatures throughout the week. Home is spacious and clean. Enjoyed the open space backyard on the Elkhorn golf course (hole 15 fairway) and scenic backdrop. Hosts are accommodating and good communicators and addressed any questions we had.

The home was perfect. We had a large group of family. Everyone had the best time while inside or out in the yard. The front yard was huge and the backyard was a golf course it could not have been nicer. And the house has AC, which we needed because it was warm outside. We hope to return every year and we also hope to be able to rent this house each year!
