Luxury Home on the White River

The owners of this custom home do not live locally, and have graciously agreed to open their home for vacationers who are wanting a luxury experience. It is a beautiful home that holds many wonderful family memories, and I am sure there will be many memories made by our guests. It is perfect for entertaining with family and friends, or business clients that want an incredible experience.
The price listed is for 4 people. There is an additional person charge of $75 per person per night. There are 4 bedroom with king beds, and additional blow up beds have been used in the large bonus room and are available upon request. This is a magnificent stone and cedar home on the White River with a private dock. You can grill your fresh catch on the stainless steel gas grill on the large deck which faces the river. Enjoy a dining table outside, relax on the comfortable outdoor seating, take a nap on one of the loungers on the deck, or even better.. relax on a lounger on the dock right on the river! Select your favorite music from the satellite music channels or blue tooth your own tunes and turn up the sound system inside or out. Listen for the steam engine train which passes the house each day along the bluff on the far side of the river. Take a stroll down to the river and relax on the dock, or walk along the one of a kind retaining wall system with steps right down to the river. You will enjoy an inviting kitchen with all stainless appliances, a large granite island which seats 4 and an ample dining table which seats 10 easily. The 20 foot ceiling in the great room provides a breathtaking view of the river through floor to ceiling windows. You can open the French door in both the main living area and kitchen to enjoy a cool breeze off of the river while plunking out your favorite tunes on the mahogany upright piano. A large plasma HDTV with professionally installed surround sound in the comfortable family room is easily viewed from the kitchen while preparing your next meal. There is a gas fireplace in the family room for those chilly nights. The large bonus room upstairs is equipped with another large plasma HDTV. Both systems have state of the art DVD players on which you can enjoy movies from a large DVD collection.
The house has two master suites and two large bedrooms. Each master has a large bathroom with granite double vanity, over sized soaking tub, separate walk in shower with seating and separate toilet area. The second floor master has a large plasma TV with sound system integrated throughout the suite including the bathroom, there is an electric ribbon fireplace flush mount below the TV. The first floor master has direct access to the deck through French doors. The two family bedrooms share a bath adjacent to the second floor laundry room. If you feel like a work out, the house has a professional grade elliptical trainer, weights, and treadmill. If you need to get some work done, the house is equipped with high speed wireless internet. There are 2 monitors, a docking station and printer.
The house is in a remote area, in the middle of the Sylamore Wildlife Management Area. Access does include a couple of miles of well maintained gravel road. This is a very small subdivision along the river, very quiet and peaceful. It is not unusual to see the small herd of local deer wander through, see the eagle family that has a nest just upriver, or see some of the many little animals that fish in the river. The White River offers world class trout fishing, and many trophy trout have been caught and released close to the house. It is approximately a 20 minute drive to Calico Rock, or 35 minutes to Mountain Home.
