Chalet Crechoua is an OVO Network property. It is a new five-bedroom, five-bathroom chalet for 14 people (ten adults max).

The OVO Network team’s opinion -

Close to the pistes, the ski bus and the village, it has already proved very popular with OVO Network guests.

Designed with great holidays in mind, this is the first OVO Network 4 star property in La Giettaz, and is ideal for two or three families or a group of friends. You'll love the panoramic views, being just 300m from the ski bus stop and just 3km on skis from the liaison to Megeve. You have a choice of two ski passes - Les Portes du Mont Blanc, or the more extensive Evasion Mont Blanc. For even more variety, it's just a 14km drive to the ski fields of La Clusaz.

Whether you decide to visit in winter or in summer, you will never be short of something to do. Winter sports such as skiing, boarding and snow biking are always popular and in summer, the mountains are a magnet for bikers, walkers and paragliders.

Perfect family getaway

We stayed at the chalet as a group of 10, including children, parents, and grandparents, and we had a truly wonderful time. The chalet itself is amazing — the photos honestly do not do it justice. It’s spacious, beautifully designed, and set in stunning surroundings. The location is perfect, with a shop and bakery just down the road, and we were only a 5-minute drive from the slopes, restaurants, and plenty of great sledging areas, which was ideal for the whole family. The children absolutely loved the darts and games area, which kept them entertained for hours. The kitchen was fantastic and extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need, making it easy to cater for a large group. The bedrooms were big and comfortable, giving everyone plenty of space to relax. Overall, it was a perfect place for a multi-generational family stay, and we made some lovely memories here. We would highly recommend this chalet and would love to return.

We have been booking a chalet every year for the past eight years. Chalet Crechoua has clearly been the one with the best and most well-thought-out facilities. Everything was clean, and the owner is very nice. Playing table tennis in the alpine scenery was the highlight of my stay.

Luxury Family Getaway in the Mountains

The holiday home was beautifully furnished and had everything we could have wished for. The hot tub is perfectly located with a view of the mountains, and there are plenty of comfortable seating areas both indoors and outdoors. We didn’t use the barrel sauna because it was very hot outside, but it was still pleasantly cool inside the house. The children thoroughly enjoyed the many indoor and outdoor games and also devoured the picture books and activity books, even though they didn’t speak French. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped—we even tried the cheese fondue. In short, it’s a luxurious and beautiful place to stay, and Pierre-Yves is a fantastic host.

Le Chalet Crechoua est magnifiquement conçu. Rien ne manque pour un séjour familial, qu’il soit festif ou reposant. Chalet Familial et Tout-Confort

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable en famille au chalet La Crechoua. Au-delà de la vue magnifique et des nombreuses balades à proximité, le chalet est encore mieux équipé que dans sa description. Tout y est pensé pour passer un moment agréable et relaxant, avec de quoi occuper grands et petits même par temps de pluie. Je recommande vivement !
