Villa Flying Dragon is an OVO Network property. It is a stunning 180m2 villa for 8 in Talloires, has two very different yet equally magnificent views of Lake Annecy.

The OVO Network team’s opinion -

With its outdoor living space comprising of pool, terraces, balconies, dining area, lounge area, and established landscaped gardens, the villa is a superb location in the summer. You can even watch paragliders coming in to land at the nearby landing zone from the comfort of the hammock on the terrace!

PLEASE NOTE : the property is situated on the main road from the Aravis mountains down to the lake, which makes it very convenient to visit the area but does mean that in busy periods there can be a fair amount of traffic.

Indoors the spaces are flooded with daylight, thanks to the many floor to ceiling windows. In fact our overriding impression from visiting the villa is of the amount of blue visible in the natural green landscape, provided by the sky, the lake, and the pool. Originally the villa housed an apartment and a main house, so there are two kitchens, two dining spaces, two living spaces, with 4 bedrooms. There are two bathrooms at the property, plus three toilets.

A car is needed for a stay at Flying Dragon, and as the property is split across three levels it is perhaps not ideal for those with limited mobility.

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

IMPORTANT : the pool is available and heated from the beginning of May to October 15. However, should you book a week early May or late October, we strongly advise you to contact us to check the pool availability for your dates. PLEASE NOTE : the property is situated on the main road from the Aravis mountains down to the lake, which makes it very convenient to visit the area but does mean that in busy periods there can be a fair amount of traffic.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We accept a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

If you cancel your booking and are due a refund, we will deduct any third party payment processing or foreign exchange fees related to the booking that we have been charged from the amount refunded.

Perfect House for a Family Stay

A week at the Flying Dragon

The villa was perfect for our stay. The building was clean and rooms immaculate. The only negative was the condition of the outside furniture. This clearly needs replacing/repairing something which the rental income for 1 week would cover.

Modern villa with stunning views

Lovely and modern villa with stunning views of Lake Annecy and its surrounding mountains. Inside the villa, you have all the comforts (spacious, comfortable beds, air conditioning in each room, well-equipped kitchen). The local road is directly next to the garden and quite busy/noisy during the day. Despite the size of the terrace, we were missing some cozy spots to relax and some decent chairs to sit in. There are a lot of activities to do in the neighborhood (although it's very busy during high season). The heated pool is very nice.

Spectacular villa with a spectacular view

The villa is ideally located over Talloires. It is on the main Col de la Forclaz road, so is busy and can be noisy at times. The villa is modern and well equipped, all though not lived in so missing some basics. However, the owner is keen to take onboard all feedback and quickly remedy any concerns. All rooms were immaculately clean, as were the pool, decking and outdoor BBQ. All the furniture are good quality, the beds and pillows were outstanding. The villa is ideal for a large family for a long stay, making an ideal base for the lake and mountains.

Une très très belle maison mais pas tout à fait au calme en été

Nous avons passé deux semaine dans la Villa Flying Dragon à Talloires en juillet 2021 voici ce que je peux en dire: Les Plus concernant la maison: ++++ Superbe, moderne et fonctionnelle ++++ Une vue extra dont on ne se lasse pas ++++ Une grande piscine super agréable et chauffée ++++ Tout est très propre ++++ Hyper bien équipée( portail automatique, grandes places de parking, piscine, grande cuisine avec tout ce dont vous pouvez rêver, écrans plats, PS4 avec des jeux, grandes salles de bains, climatisation partout, volets roulants, grand jardin avec plantes aromatiques et j’en passe !) ++++ Idéalement située pour permettre de profiter du lac ainsi que des principales attractions aux alentours comme le parapente par exemple, mais… Les moins: --- … une maison située sur une route très fréquentée par les véhicules l’été: C’est bruyant en journée et si vous laissez une fenêtre ouverte parfois vous serez réveillés par un motard enthousiaste en pleine nuit (Attention en hivers ne tenez pas compte de ce commentaire: avec les fenêtres fermées et l’absence d’activité estivale, ce point négatif est à oublier). C’est tout ! Impossible de conclure sans remercie chaudement Valérie, qui gère cette maison, pour sa disponibilité de tous les instants, la qualité de son accueil ainsi que sa gestion de la maison :)

Maison propre, accueillante, contemporaine, lumineuse, très bien agencée pour 2 familles. L environnement est très beau avec vue partielle sur le lac, légèrement en hauteur. Nous renouvelerons l expérience à une autre période.
