Summary:

Part of Nalu Nosara, a boutique luxury retreat of five private villas—each with its own saltwater pool, secure parking, playground/ninja course, and full-time guard. Enjoy 50% off ($10/class) yoga, fitness, & martial arts at our on-site studio. Nestled on a quiet street in the heart of Guiones, we’re a 5-minute walk to the surf, restaurants & shops.



The Space:

This is a new villa with 2 bedrooms and 2 bath. Each one of the bedrooms has the option to be set up as 1 king or 2 twins for your convenience. The living room has 2 daybeds to accommodate 2 more people if you'd like. Crib and highchair is available upon request.



All the bedrooms and living/kitchen area have wall to wall sliding glass doors so you can open them up and enjoy open air living. You have your own private pool with tropical gardens around for privacy. There are hammocks and lounge chairs on all the decks so you can really relax into the pura vida lifestyle.



Guest Access:

The property has a playground for kids of all ages.

We also have a studio on site that offers public classes for adults and kids like yoga, Muay Thai kickboxing, pilates, etc. Our guests enjoy a 50% discount at the Studio so all classes are $10 drop ins for guests staying at Nalu!



The Neighborhood:

Nalu Nosara is tucked away on a small street called Calle Los Mangos where we have lots of mango trees and howler monkeys (that like to eat them). At the same time, we are right in the heart of Playa Guiones which is the main part of Nosara. We are just a 5 minute walk to the beach or the restaurants, bar, and stores.



Getting Around:

You can easily walk to the beach, surf, surf shops to rent a board, restaurants, bars, and a mini-super to buy groceries. You can also rent an ATV or golf cart to get to some places further away, plus it's a fun way to get around. If you'd like to rent a car, there are several car agencies in town or you can just rent a car from the airport and then have the car for your stay.

We have a full time concierge that is available for our guests before and during their stay. We can help book airport transfers, tours, spa treatments, and suggest for things to do and see.

Honestly it was better that we imagined. The staff really friendly and helpful. The villa is lovely, we had lots of privacy and quiet. Our own little garden and plunge pool..heaven!vWe opted not to have wheels so we walked everywhere. To all the beaches north and south, restaurants and different yoga studios. We loved it.

Beautiful accommodation

Two adult couples for two week stay. Our expectations were surpassed by the beauty of the property and the comfort and privacy of the rooms. Both couples had equally comfortable bedrooms. The pool was so nice to have and we used it every day. We cooked breakfast and dinner in many days and found the kitchen to be adequately stocked to do this easily. Close proximity to beach and restaurants. Exercise classes available on site. It was a perfect trip and we will be back again.

I heard this saying a couple of times during our stay in nosara, with good reason. we first visited nosara to surf 20 years ago. while much has changed, the wonderful puravida vibe remains. and mariya's oasis, nalu, is a welcome addition. the house and grounds are immaculate. mariya and staff, steve and alfredo, could not have been better hosts. we look forward to returning and wouldn't stay anywhere else!

wonderful house

My family had a great time in Playa Guiones. The house was perfect for us. We swam in the pool everyday and enjoyed a few of the exercise classes. The neighborhood has everything you need within walking distance including the beach and surf lessons. Great trip! we hope to visit again

We hade a very nice stay at Nalu. Our villa was tucked away which felt like we were in a jungle. It also helped to block neighboring construction noise. Very nice relaxing week.

Perfect Stay

Perfect property. The house is beautiful and super comfortable, the grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained, the pool is wonderful, all the staff are kind and helpful, and the location is central to everything. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, farmers market, etc. This is perfect place to work remotely and vacation. The Studio is outstanding. We did the boxing classes which were by far the best we’ve ever taken. Stephany is fabulous. Everything far surpassed our expectations.

Amazing location in an amazing town

This was my 3rd time to Playa Guiones and my favorite stay so far! My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon and the place could not have been more perfect. The place was set back and quiet, but close to everything. And with that pool, we barely wanted to leave anyway!

We are a couple from New York City that kept coming to visit Nosara to get away and enjoy some warm water surf and yoga classes in the jungle. Each time our visits kept getting longer and longer. We always dreamt about moving to Nosara, but that seemed impossible! We had our first child in New York, but barely had the opportunity to spend any quality time with her because of our demanding jobs and long hours. So by the time we had our second child, we decided to take the leap. We took a 9 month trial run living in Nosara and by the end of the first month, we decided we were never moving back. We only went back to New York to sell everything we had.

Here we are three years later, full time residents of Nosara, loving life and enjoying time with our family in the sun and surf! And just at the end of last year, we opened up our own little oasis called Nalu. We wanted to create a place where families and friends can stay, where you feel safe and relaxed, where you can live a healthy lifestyle, and where kids can run free. So we hope you will come stay with us and sure enough, we will try to persuade you to move down here too...

Why they chose this property

We love Nalu because we had the opportunity to create a little haven in the heart of Guiones from the ground up. We were also lucky enough to work with a world-renowned architect, Benjamin Garcia Saxe, who designed these beautiful unique homes and the fitness studio. You can walk to surf, to all the restaurants and the shops. Each villa has its own private saltwater pool so you can enjoy the privacy of your own home or come socialize with others at the playground or at the fitness studio, where we offer public classes like yoga and kickboxing.

You really don't have to go far to enjoy everything Nosara has to offer.
