If you've been spending your time dreaming about your perfect little Isle of Palms beach cottage, we're willing to bet it looks something like this amazing property inside the Wild Dunes Resort! This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home has a fabulous location just 200 yards from the beach and enjoys access to some of the amenities that the Wild Dunes Resort offers, from being able to schedule a tee-time at their renowned golf courses to dining at one of their six phenomenal restaurants. The resort also offers miles of bike & walking trails and easy beach access!

This beach cottage exudes the perfect atmosphere for an Isle of Palms getaway, from the lush landscaping to the cozy interior. Walk into the main level of the home—it's here that rustic beach charm meets homelike comforts, with polished wood floors and quaint touches that really makes this cottage feel like your very own.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals on the go—maybe a lunch to pack along to the beach, or a nutritious breakfast before a day of biking around and discovering the island. Offering high-quality appliances and both a regular and Keurig coffee maker, this kitchen goes above the average rental with its amenities. A stacked washer and dryer can be found just off the kitchen.

Next, you'll find a dining space with eight seats—great for family dinners at your rental, or for setting out some appetizers after the beach. The living area is just as inviting as you'd imagine, with a plush sectional and a big TV where you can catch up on your favorite shows—each TV in the home has an Amazon Firestick and Netflix, allowing you to access all your favorite streaming services (cable is not available). Outside, a screened in porch gives you a choice of another prime relaxation spot, while another outdoor deck has a pair of chairs and a BBQ Gas grill.

The master bedroom has a television, king-sized bed, private bathroom, and a door to the open-air deck. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed, TV, & has a sliding glass door access to the screened porch. The third room has two double beds for extra sleeping space and a TV. There is a shared hall bath for these two bedrooms. With spaces that are cozy and inviting both inside and out, this home is a lovely choice for a relaxed beach vacation!

This home rents weekly in the summer from Sunday to Sunday, and then has a 3-night minimum any other time of year. Come enjoy this cute home and explore Isle of Palms and Charleston (a convenient 35 minute drive to downtown for all the sight-seeing).

Finally, 11 Sand Piper is located in Wild Dunes Resort - A private Resort of 1600 acres, Wild Dunes features six restaurants, the Sand and Sea Spa, The Wild Dunes Links golf course and Harbor golf course which Golf Digest consider among the “Best in the State”, and two miles of bike trails. DOES NOT INCLUDE POOL ACCESS.

This property also includes a $250 credit to order beach gear when you book a stay between 3 and 14 nights!! There are many options to choose from including bicycles, beach chairs, beach carts/wagons, coolers, umbrellas, kayaks, paddleboards, etc.! Our partnered company, VayK Gear, will contact you 45 days prior to your arrival so you can place your order and they will deliver all equipment to your rental property. A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 3 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 25 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $1000 if a pet is found to be on the property at any time.

KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! Also included is a "starter set" of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you may need to purchase these items after you arrive.

Very comfortable and clean. Fully equipped kitchen with higher end cookware and dishes than many places I've stayed. Very cordial staff at Carroll Realty. There are marvelous footpaths for walking running all through Wild Dunes. We had a fabulous time.

The property was a great location! A very short walk to the beach, which was super convenient. It had everything we needed and more in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. It needs a paint job inside and out, and the bathrooms were outdated, but otherwise it was great! We also walked to the resort hotel one night where there were lots of shops and restaurants. We had a great trip!

5 min walk to beach!

We enjoyed our stay at this beach bungalow! The house has not been updated recently, but it was exactly as advertised and was very clean. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach (5 min walk), the screened in patio with enough seating for all (7) of us to eat outside, the outdoor shower to clean off sandy feet before going inside, and though we didn't do much cooking, the kitchen was well stocked. We would certainly stay here again!

Fantastic stay!

We loved our stay at this cozy, vacation home. The beds were all very comfortable and the porch area was amazing! The only downside is the doors (by the handles) could use a magic eraser to get rid of the grime. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would book again. :)

Very clean and close to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and had sharp knives which was super helpful in preparing meals. Host was very responsive to any inquiries. Screen porch was spacious and used every evening. With the exception of the noise coming from the cars and people parking early mornings, it was my favorite part of the home.

Good Value for an Isle of Palms Vacation

Stayed at the house with my family for a short vacation. We wanted to be within walking distance of the beach without breaking the bank and this home delivered! The bedrooms were plenty big and beds made up nicely. Kitchen was equipped to prepare meals and the common spaces, including the porch, were pleasant. The bathrooms are dated but clean and functional. Check in and check out was offsite, which was inconvenient. But the property management team was friendly and helpful.

Dirty little cottage

We've been renting on VRBO for twenty years, and this is by far the poorest shape unit we've stayed in. Duct tape covering switches with instructions not to use. Burnt out light bulbs littered the property. When using the washer and dryer the whole house shook! The grass in the back yard was ready to bale for hay. We had a great time because we overlooked all the issues, but im not sure another renter will. Please make the cottage up to the standards renters are paying for.

Noisy place

Reading the VRBO site this seems like an ideal place. The interior was clean with upgrades in main den, kitchen and bedrooms. Not the bathrooms. Very 70's. Location is ideal for beach access about a block away which is main reason I booked it. Short walk down access across street. Beach was great. However, the trade off is horrible noise all day and into the evening on Palm ave. directly in front of house. Construction trucks every few minutes. Hard to relax and read. Also the unit is in desperate need of exterior cleaning and repair. Massive cobwebs in corners and ceiling of screened in porch. Rotted wood on siding on porch and weeds growing out of gutter. My 2 year old grand could put her head and shoulders thru the pickets surrounding porch as it has not been upgraded to code. The grill on porch does not work. The gas comes on but the starter button does not work and I had no lighter or matches. It's in bad shape also. The kitchen is nice with new fridge and washer dryer and lots of room. Could not get any local tv channels as there is no cable streaming app that I could find. Looked on the Samsung Apps and fire stick but never found any options for local tv. I like Wild Dunes but will get a house not backing up to Palm blvd next time. With some TLC and repairs this unit would be better. Again, great location to the beach and close to the resort hotel and tennis center.

Best vacation ever!

Although the home is "older" than many homes in the gated community it was still PERFECT!!! The location was beautiful- the screened porch was used all day long!!! The realty company was had to deal with was so friendly and knowledgeable- they even had no problem allowing my niece to pick up the keys for us (since we would not get there by closing) The Isle of Palms was absolutely breathtaking- the beaches are clean and quiet---- we will definitely be back

Wild Dunes Getaway

We loved this property! It was outfitted appropriately. The kitchen was well stocked with appropriate pots, pans, utensils and dish ware. The open concept living room/dining room made the common area feel spacious. There were even games and books in the space. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and plenty of closet and drawer space. There was plenty of parking for us and you can definitely fit 4 cars at the house if you need to. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The deck was wonderful and we ate many of our meals out there. The beach was a 3 minute walk from the property. I believe that it should be noted the house is set up with a lot of lamp lighting operated by wall switches. None of the bedrooms have overhead lights and the living room is the same. Also, as noted in the listing, there are TVs all over the house, but they all have Amazon Firesticks to access streaming applications only-no cable. Neither the lighting, nor the TV setups are a complaint from me. Just wanted to emphasize those quirks, because it may be a bigger deal to someone than it was to us. My few complaints have to do with the communication about the property itself. The listing wasn’t super clear that this house is located in the Wild Dunes gated community. There were few instructions on what we were supposed to do to get our gate pass. And also it would have been nice for the house manager to communicate that Wild Dunes properties are currently under construction in the off season. The noise from the job sites could be heard from 7am-7pm every day. We loved our stay and highly recommend this house for family getaways.

Isle of palms stay

I was extremely happy with my recently visit to Isle of Palms. Check in/out was quick and easy. Property was exactly what was advertised. The property managers answered all of my questions and were very helpful. They quickly returned emails and helped me contact the company to keep my rentals when I decided to stay an extra night. I highly recommend and would stay again for sure!

Reservations made and cancelled within 24 hours will be refunded in full. After 24 hours, our cancellation policy goes into effect. Reservations cancelled 6 months prior to arrival will be refunded in full. If a reservation is cancelled less than 6 months prior to arrival, a full deposit refund less a $100.00 booking fee will be made only if the unit is re-rented for the same time and price, and at a pro-rated rate if only rented for the partial amount. The guest will be responsible for the difference in price if re-rented at a lower rate. We do offer and strongly encourage every traveler to purchase travel insurance as well for an added 10.8% or 7% charge depending on which plan you select.
