Dockside Landing is located in the west end and has many amenities including free boat parking, a private boat ramp and a fishing dock! This top floor 1BR/1BA condo has many updates. There is a large closet area with bunk beds queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Kitchen has new stainless steel applicances. Full fridge with filtered water and stove with oven. It is fully stock with pots and pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, etc. For those who love to cook verses eating out, the kitchen is fully stocked with spices and other extras. Also has brand new stacking washer and dryer. The master bath opens to a deck with table and chairs to view both ocean and waterway! The entrance deck overlooks a lagoon with fountain. There is also a swimming pool on site. For security purposes, a camera is located outside only.

We had a blast visiting OIB! The location was perfect - super close walk to the beach to set up our shady spot and loved sitting by the inlet, watching the turtles in the pond, and swimming in the pool.Anole parking. Close to get to town - 5 minute drive tops! Perfect size for our family.So much to do and will definitely return!

The property was great for the 2 of us. Be aware if you have mobility issues, that it is on the 4th floor with no elevator. However, that also gives a marsh and ocean view. The kitchen is well stocked. The cleaning and service fees seems a bit excessive, especially when guests have to bring their own sheets and towels. Mercy was great to work with, very helpful and prompt in returning messages. There is a very large and comfortable sectional couch in the living room.

The condo was laid out perfectly for my little family! The bunk room is connected to the main bedroom and was perfect for our "big" girl to stay in her own room! If you needed it to cook with its in the kitchen. The condo is very spacious inside and the views from either side was amazing! I wish I could post pictures on here but if I could change one thing I would have stayed longer! The owner is also very easy to talk to and get along with and just a all around great person. If your thinking about this place just get it. I promise you that you will absolutely love it!!!

Pros: close to the beach (about a 5-minute walk from door to sand), lots of available close parking, plenty of space to hang wet suits and towels, slept 4 comfortably, nice pool, large TV and couch, table seated 4 comfortably for eating and playing games (total of 6 stools bc also a bar area), washer/dryer was niceCons: sheets and towels not included (wasn't stated in listing details, but added after our arrival to the checkout section), kitchen area was not configured well (couldn't open freezer all the way bc of washer/dryer, had to open dishwasher if you wanted to open drawer next to it, oven didn't open all the way because it hit cabinet hardware - burn hazard when trying to get stuff out of oven), dishwasher was non-functional during our stay (didn't find out until she said someone was coming to look at it, and I had to inquire that evening to learn we couldn't use it), lots of stuff "stored" in closet with bunk beds (already a small space so it would have been nice to have an area to close door and change - although door wouldn't close anyway), blinds on back door kept falling off (they were taped and not in good condition as well as a few missing slats), no use of floor level storage room so we had to keep beach stuff in our car if we didn't want to drag it up to the 3rd floor every dayBottom line: We had a nice vacation. The beach was beautiful. The pool was never crowded. I think with some updates, fixes, and decluttering, this place could be great.

Great Stay and Location

Great location

Great location in OIB; a very short walk to the beach. The community pool was fabulous. It is only shared by three condo units, so it was almost like having a private pool. Our three year old was in heaven! Property was as advertised and we had a wonderful stay.

Cozy condo with great views

The condo was extremely nice, much nicer than we expected by looking at the listing. The host was super responsive. Definitely a hidden gem for the price in ocean isle.

Great Time With Family

What a lovely condo! Perfect for my husband, our daughter and myself. Great views from both decks. Especially enjoyed my morning coffee on the back deck with a cute surfer table and chairs. Owner went over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Will certainly recommend to friends and hope to return again!

Another great OIB vacation

Condo was perfect for our little family. Small bumps with the AC unit on the first night but the owner is/ was very communicative. Thanks for being on it and making it so comfortable for the rest of our visit.

Great place.

The apartment is just as described if not nicer. The access to the beach is close & easy walk. Lots of steps to the 3rd floor but that was fine. Just good to know if you have heavy items. Pool was easy too.

Great experience

We had a great time on our vacation! Our family loved the condo - just enough space for us to cook and lounge around when we weren’t at the beach/pool. Just quick walk to the beach entrance. Communication with the owner was great and she was super friendly/helpful. Like others have said in their review, this unit is better in person than in the pics! My only improvement request would be to add a keypad to the door to avoid using a traditional key. Other than that we had an excellent vacation!

Better than the pictures

We very much enjoyed our stay! Communication was great, the location was AWESOME (just a few minute walk from the handicapped beach access which was awesome for our full wagon!) and the place was spacious and comfy. The bunk beds are kinda in a closet but in the bedroom, so the adults could hang in the living room while the kids were asleep behind closed doors. There was also an extra sink/vanity area in the bedroom so the bathroom didn’t get too cluttered. Bring your own linens and towels, including toilet paper and paper towels, detergent for the washer. Beds were comfortable and the big couch was perfect for our family of 4 to spread out and nap :) Will definitely consider rebooking next year!

Overall nice stay

The beginning of our trip was a bit rocky as there was a leak in the kitchen sink. Our arrival was Saturday and we could not use the kitchen sink until it was fixed on Monday. We also found some candy wrappers and a sock in the couch from previous guests. On a positive note, the place was decorated nicely and the host was very friendly. The top bunk was quite creaky, so we ended up using the couch bed as an option for our kids. Overall, we made the best of our stay and appreciated the hosts communication!
