Oceanfront condo 2BR direct beach access + pool

Oceanfront 2 bedroom/2 bath condo located at the Windjammer complex. Private balcony with unobstructed views of the west end of Ocean Isle Beach. Windjammer has a private beach access just a few steps away from the condo and a large community pool to enjoy. An added bonus to the Windjammer complex is an elevator so you don’t have to haul everything up the stairs.

Condo is well kept and clean! Primary suite is equipped a king bed, en suite bathroom and flat screen TV. The second bedroom has two double beds and flat screen TV . An additional flatscreen TV is located in the family room with multiple board games and puzzles to add to your family beach fun. There is dining seating for 7 between the table and bar stools at the kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities to create your meals at the beach. Full size washer & dryer in the condo. The property complex also has outdoor showers and outdoor grilling area. To be able to stay connected to everyday life, wireless internet is available.

Smart doorbell is located at the front door and utilized for security purposes.

No smoking and no pets.

Bring your own towels and bed linens as they are not provided.

Bring your own beach chairs and umbrella as they are not provided.

Windjammer doesn’t permit jet skis, boats, trailers or golf carts in parking spaces.

Communal Pool is typically open from May -October. This is subject to change based on local/state proclamations/orders and is not guaranteed.

OIB is halfway between Wilmington & Myrtle Beach plus conventionally located near Calabash, Sunset Beach and Holden Beach. There are over 15 golf courses in the surrounding area, fishing charters and of course all water adventures you are up for. If dolphin watching or turtle hatching is more your speed, OIB is the place for you.

Perfect Beach Getaway

This was the perfect spot for a much-needed beach getaway. Kristie's condo was well-appointed and clean. We spent a LOT of time on the spacious balcony watching sunrises and sunsets, enjoying the frolicking foxes on the dunes, and listening to the ocean. I plan to return to this special place!

Nice second floor condo, close to elevator. Well stocked kitchen, nice seating on balcony to enjoy the ocean view. Pool was busy but not overcrowded for July.

Beach vacation

Excellent safe location. I was traveling alone with my daughter and felt safe and comfortable the entire trip. Condo was very well equipped and beds were comfortable. I could not have asked for a better vacation or location. No trouble with deliveries and close to stores. Absolutely no complaints at all. Will plan to return next year!

Spring Escape

We enjoyed our spring getaway in this lovely condo! It is conveniently located near the elevator and has wonderful views of the ocean from the comfortable balcony chairs and the kitchen/living area. The well furnished kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The owners were very attentive but not intrusive. Looking forward to our next escape there this summer.

Early Fall at OIB

This was our second time in this unit and our fifth stay at Windjammer. My adult son and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. I believe we'd always pick this unit if it's available when we're able to come. The weather and accommodations were Goldilocks perfect - just right.

Magnificent Getaway!!

The property owners were wonderful to work with due to their immediate responses. They provided clear directions and the condo was stunningly beautiful. So many details, both large and small, are obviously important to the owners and for the comfort of their guests. We spent in measurable hours looking at the beautiful beach and waves from the balcony. The addition, the elevator was greatly appreciated by my husband, and I both, who are in our senior years. This is our third year of visiting Ocean Isle Beach, and God willing, this will be the only location we will be staying at in the future. Thank you again to the owners for providing us with lasting memories.

Location is great, convenient to get on the sand. Condo unit wonderful, luved sitting on quality balcony furniture watching the waves. We have morning coffee, all meals and evening drinks on balcony. Windy week

Our unit at Windjammer was perfect, but the weather didn't cooperate. The wind and cool temperature kept us off the beach until our last day, but we enjoyed the ocean view from our balcony every day. We got to see a fox and a school of porpoise. We definitely will come back to Windjammer.

Clean and accurate listing

We had a great time at this place. It was very clean on arrival. House was nicely decorated, beds were really comfortable. We were happy to see washer and dryer with detergent. Kitchen was stocked with coffee filters, tin foil, soap, first aid kit. Pans and pots were in good shape. Cutting boards needed to be replaced. View from the balcony was great, we even saw a fox. We did spot some water bugs, but not highly unusual for this area. Downside is having to bring our own sheets, towels, but at least you could wash them before you go. Parking was plentiful and the pool was nice. Beach access was easy and the location was far down the island so relatively private. I suggest stocking up at Food Lion before checking in and then never leaving your whole trip. Overall a great experience.

Why they chose this property

As a child, I grew up visiting Ocean Isle Beach. Some of my fondest memories was hitting the beach to search for sand dollars and shells and of course jumping waves with my family. Now that my family has moved back to North Carolina, it seemed fitting to give our children some of these same memorial experiences that I experienced. Last summer our family visited Windjammer at the west end of OIB and fell in love with it as a family. We jumped on the chance to own a little piece of the OIB magic so here we are... hoping to enjoy the endless summer of OIB.

What makes this property unique

Our condo has lovely unobstructed views of the west end with direct beach access. Windjammer has an elevator for easy access to the condo from the covered parking lot. You can watch your family and friend at the beach from the balcony and of course see the sun rise and set as well. The west end of the island is a wonderfully peace location to play in the sun, jump waves and relax. Another bonus is The Isles Restaurant & Tiki Bar is right around the corner from the Windjammer.
