This cottage has a prime Seaside location and is the perfect place for your family or friends to gather and enjoy time together at the Oregon Coast. This home features a large kitchen with granite countertops and a spacious living room to spread out and relax in. There are sliding doors that lead to a private back deck that overlooks a serene wetlands area, making it the perfect spot to sit each morning with a cup of coffee and observe visiting wildlife or enjoy an evening BBQ together.

This home is an ideal location for exploring all that Seaside has to offer! Walk just three short blocks over to the beach, or head north to Broadway Street and explore its restaurants, souvenir shops, and fun activities. There's also a golf course, movie theater, and a small aquarium right in town.

Hidden little gem!

This property is tucked down a long driveway off the main road. We loved the extra sense of privacy while still being central and close to everything. The small fenced yard was perfect for my dog. The home was clean and had a wide variety of puzzles and games for those rainy days. The beach and boardwalk are a straight shot down the road, just a few minute walk. Sitting on the deck was lovely. We saw so many birds and deer on a few occasions. We would absolutely stay here again.

Quiet location, nice view.

The house is set back from the road, so it is pretty quiet. There is a large deck in the back with a nice view of the river. The yard was great for our dogs and is securely fenced so we didn't have to worry about them escaping. Overall the home was clean and had all of the things we needed like clean towels and kitchen items. The lock was a little tricky and the beds are pretty uncomfortable. Other than that is was great. We would probably stay here again.

Perfect weekend getaway

The house is a nice two bedroom with large patio and fenced backyard that is great for pets. There is also a secure attached garage for any toys you bring on your vacation.

Beach house vaca

It definitely felt like a beach house. With a great deck and view perfect for a cup of morning Joe on a sunny 😎 day. A short walk to the beach and a stunning a beach just a few easy blocks thru a beach house neighborhood. Quiet, nice neighbors even and not far at all from downtown Seaside fun like Mo’s for lunch, an arcade and an aquarium! A historical, quaint and interesting aquarium.

Winter Weekend Stay

The house itself was in a great location and clean. Unfortunately we had a few issues during our stay. The furnace was out when we arrived, leaving us in 48 degree temps the first night. We reached out to Vacasa the next morning and they were quick to send maintenance out, who then decided that the furnace was completely out and they would need to get a separate company to solve the problem eventually, leaving us with 3 small space heaters for our stay. Obviously that was nowhere near enough, especially considering the safety of space heaters and that we could not leave them on overnight or when we were gone.. So the house was averaging around 50-60 degrees. We had anticipated that they would offer money back immediately and after waiting until our last night, we decided to contact them. Eventually (after reaching out to VRBO in addition to Vacasa) they came to an agreement to refund some money back, but we were disappointed that it took us reaching out in the first place. It should be assumed that if a house that is rented has no heat in the middle of winter throughout the entirety of someone's stay that they should be compensated accordingly, we should not have had to push for money back. Aside from the furnace issue, we also had a privacy concern. Around 15 minutes after arriving, a man knocked on our door and claimed that he needed to work on our yard. He did not explain who he worked for and what he needed to work on. He then proceeded to open the garage (in which has no lock to the interior of the home). During a guests stay, no maintenance or yard worker should have access to the house unless requested by the guest. We did not feel safe throughout our stay with the knowledge that people seemed to come and go as they pleased without sufficient locks on the house. Overall, we are happy that we were refunded but this company needs to be held to a higher standard.

The house itself was fine..not a bad location. It was however, quite filthy. There was a baking dish with potatoes left in the oven, the tables were very greasy and sticky, crumbs on the counter, thick dust in plain view behind the television stand. There were also several long hairs on the pullout couch bedding. We opted not sleep in the rooms because one smelled overwhelmingly of mildew and the closet door in the other room seemed like a hazard for my 3 year old. The keurig seems like it should be replaced. I only successfully got it to work twice. The shower was nice though, wifi seemed to work okay in the living room and kitchen area. Also, nice and quiet.

Okay for a beach stay

This home was just okay. It looks good in pictures and has a nice outdoor patio overlooking some grass and wetland area, but the chairs were rusted and dirty. They allow dogs so the home has a slight musty "eau de perrito" that wafts by suddenly. No air conditioner but they provide box fans and there was a nice breeze at night. The washer and dryer came in handy for towels and clothes. The beds are overly squeaky with every toss and turn. The chairs in the living room are comfortable for kicking your feet up but they're dingy and worn and smell a little. The kitchen had everything you need to cook BUT they only had a canister of salt, Parmesan cheese packets, turmeric and a near empty bottle of soybean oil for cooking. The grill outside would only ignite one burner so we didn't use it. The Wifi network and password did not exist so we never could hook up to that and therefore we could not watch TV for a few days. That was not okay with the kids. Tried communicating with Vacasa and the local manager but they were unable to resolve it. The home is in a nice spot, hidden but close to everything. We probably wouldn't stay here again.

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood. However the home had had a bad smell especially in the bedroom. Also the exhaust fan in the bathroom and the furnace return air vent in the hallway are filthy and need cleaning!

Finally, one where you get better than expected

Pictures are usually taken to make the space to look much bigger than it is. This house was at least as roomy as the pictures, and very clean. The deck is very large and his sheep fencing under the railings so pets can't fall through. The deck also leads to a fenced yard for pets to take care of business. This was a huge bonus! I could leave the slider open 6" and let my dog go in and out as he pleased. The kitchen amentities were very adequate, and the furnace kept the house toasty. If we return to the region we will definitely rent this house again instead of gambling with any other, even if the beach we want to go to (Canon Beach) is some distance, it would be worth the drive!

Nice, Convenient Home

This home is very conveniently located to all the attractions in downtown, such as the carousel mall and the aquarium. The bedrooms are both nicely sized and we were able to easily fit our pack and play in the smaller room for our toddler. The back porch has a wonderful view and is quiet and peaceful for hanging out.

Quiet and comfortable

Loved the location, close to everything. Well suited for traveling with pets, or kids needing a fenced area to run around in. Plenty of towels and linens. Beds were comfortable for most of us in our family but they are on the firm side. Kitchen was well equipped. Front door was tricky to lock. The house was clean on our arrival. Did not use the sofa bed. A few odds and ends could use attention but overall I feel that for our budget it met our needs.

Only kitchen and bathroom remodeled. Carpets stained and stinky. Old beds. Furniture old and stained. Sleeper couch broken. Toaster broken pots scratched Wall drab green, no decor. The birds were great, the location close to the beach, But this Place needs work. Info communicated early, plus my desire to move. Ok if you pay $100 a night but I paid close to 3k for 1 week.
