Lovely big converted farmhouse with 8 en-suite bedrooms, large kitchen, plenty of seating indoors and outside. Lovely pool, sunbathing area and outdoor amenities. Short walk down to snack bar with delicious cakes. Pizza/burger takeaway/restaurant was great. Good location for Pinhao (1 1/2 hr drive) to get to Douro river trips on GetYourGuide, Aldo got train from Penafirl into Porto. All in all would recommend for large group get togethersFew small niggles-washing machine bit leaky, would have been more convenient to have more than the 1 gate remote we were given, but worked around it.

Wonderful villa in a central location in the Duoro

This is a wonderful property, with great character and complete with all amenities and a swimming pool in a semi-rural area. It was the perfect base for our group of friends to explore the attractions in the region, laze by the pool and gather for meals on the terrace. Our host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, with lots of recommendations for the best things to see and do in the region.

BEAU SEJOUR.

La propriété est conforme à l'annonce. Nous étions une famille de 12 personnes : 8 adultes et 4 enfants dont un de - de 2 ans. La piscine est super grande tout le monde en a profité. Grand jardin bien entretenu. Les points à améliorer sont les équipements de cuisine (micro-onde, plaque éléctrique et four)

Merveilleuse maison

Propriété privé merveilleuse, et propre avec de la place pour tous (16 personnes, 8 adultes + 6 ado), grande piscine. Commerce et un maraîcher à proximité. Nous avons passé d''excellentes vacances dans cette magnifique maison dont le descriptif et les photos sur le site correspondaient tout a fait. La seule chose à améliorer de l'ombre sur les 2 patios car les parasols à force de les déplacer sont de moins en mois efficace (avec une toile d'ombrage par exemple. Merci encore pour l'accueil

Um encanto!

Não posso deixar de registar o fantástico fim de semana de convívio familiar que pude vivenciar, com 16 pessoas, na Casa dos Esteios. Destaque para o conforto, o requinte da decoração no seu estilo rústico/romântico, a envolvência e espaço exterior, incluindo a piscina. Tanto espaços interiores como exteriores encontram-se perfeitamente conservados e limpos. A casa dispunha de todos os utensílios necessários e em quantidade abundante. O bom gosto dos proprietários reflete-se em cada detalhe. As expectativas foram ultrapassadas. Tudo isto, aliado à simpatia, cordialidade e disponibilidade dos proprietários, são razões para querer voltar à Casa dos Esteios. Até breve.
