Fish & crab from dock, kayak, take in the views from the screened porch or relax by the pool, fire pit or hot tub with a drink. Bring your boat - marina ~4 miles away - put-in there & tie-up at our pier! A true private retreat!

Gorgeous sunrises and abundant wildlife await you in the morning as you look over the bay from the dock or the porch. Pull a kayak directly into the bay via the sandy launch area.

Modern amenities with fast Internet and WiFi, as well as Sonos to power music on the porch or pool area. Internet-enabled smart TVs (one in den; one in master) with availability to stream movies or your favorite TV shows at night.

There are multiple kayaks, a crab pot, a charcoal grill, a fire pit and 2 adult bikes for your use. The pool is open from mid-April / May 1st - October 30th (dates can be moved to open earlier or close longer by request). The pool is not heated. There is also a hot tub that is open year-round. Both the pool and hot tub are professionally maintained. Horn Harbor Marina is ~4 miles away. Feel free to put-in your boat at the marina and tie-up for your stay.

A few notes:
The Food Lion in downtown Mathews offers the pre-order / pickup version of InstaCart. Order directly from the InstaCart app on your way in and pickup at Food Lion on your way to the Cottage....eliminates the dreaded post-unpacking 2 hour grocery store run.

There is a lacrosse goal and a basketball hoop on property. Given the propensity for gear to "grow legs" we ask that you bring a basketball and / or lax sticks & balls with you if you'd like to play.

There are outdoor security cameras on property. One covers the pool while the others cover the parking areas and look out at the Chesapeake Bay / our pier.

Our pool folks generally come on Thursday or Friday. Our lawn folks generally come on either Thursday or Friday as well. There will very occasionally be other maintenance folks on property should an item need repair or upkeep work.
