Maplewood State Park, with its rolling hills and incredible forest are a 10 minute drive. More colors! Luxury lake home & PONTOON RENTAL in a beautiful, quiet wooded setting. Perfect for family getaways, family reunions, holidays, corporate retreats, etc. Cozy private log cabin for two on site as well. Sand beach with hard sandy bottom lake for good swimming, boating & good fishing. Deer & wild turkeys frequently visit. Huge kitchen, pantry & dining room with large table for 12 & counter seating for 6. Fire pit. 2 large decks, gas grill & 4 picnic tables. 3 -65" smart TV's. Dock & 22' PONTOON BOAT FOR ADDITIONAL RENTAL FEE. Pets welcome. Great golf courses nearby.

Time to make lasting memories! Total privacy on a crystal clear, spring fed lake. The lakes name says it all; Silent Lake. A peaceful place to unwind and to relax in a very natural setting. This lovely lake home and yard is exactly what we all imagine northern Minnesota to be all about, even making smore's on the fire on a starlit autumn night!

All new bed sheets, bed covers, blankets, pillows, bath towels, beach towels and kitchen dish rags and drying dish towels (don't worry, there is a dishwasher!) have been bought for this fall season.

Lawn chairs provided. Life vests for swimming or boating provided. Tons of water toys and yard games as well.

There is a large pantry to keep all of your groceries.

There is a large refrigerator in the kitchen and a second refrigerator in the garage for melons, meat, fish, wine, beer and even bait.

Very private and quiet. All 12 adults and 3 little ones had a place to sleep and found plenty to do in sunshine and rain. One young couple stayed in the cabin, saying it was comfortable. All amenities were a nice addition and very useful. We highly recommend this rental. The owner and caretaker are very nice and easy to work with.

This was the most perfect house for our family to stand to celebrate Christmas. Many adults and many children and we never felt the space was too Small. A beautiful overlook of the quiet lake and a private location. This is the perfect location if you have a big group! And the house is incredibly beautiful!

“Up-North” at its Finest

We returned for a second year. Our contact with owner and caretaker, Dan and Dave, was very satisfactory. We appreciated the new fire pit and the pavers that were installed during off season. Family found place to be roomy for 19 of us to play games, dance, swim, take hikes, and just hang out and enjoy being together.

Beautiful view quiet family fun

Perfect amount of space for our family. Plenty of bedrooms and comfortable beds! Lake is quiet and relaxing area. Clean! The only disappointment was that it said satellite/cable TV and there wasn’t that service. The frig in the garage wasn’t working well. We did enjoy the campfire experience as well as the lake. Perfect spot for a family gathering

We just completed our second annual stay on East Silent Lake for our family of 14, raging in age from four to seventy-one, and there is truly something for everyone at this lovely property: fishing, tubing, pontooning, kayaking, board games, movies and just sitting back to relax on the deck! Sleeping accommodations on 3 floors with comfortable king-sized beds allows plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some privacy. The large kitchen, pantry and dining area make gathering for mealtime easy and enjoyable. The property owners are very responsive to questions and provide easy to follow guidance for enjoying the property. Our family loves this place and we hope to return again next year!

This property was amazing! Plenty of space for indoor and outdoor fun with a group of 12 adults. Distanced from the neighbors for a very private feel, but close to the towns. The home was very well stocked and included yard games, fun rafts, canoes and plenty of kitchen items. Also - extremely high quality beds, linens and pillows! Not a normal thing I note, but we all raved about our restful slumbers! You definitely can pack light for this location, they have it all. Good boating on a quiet lake, as well. Dan and Iryna are very responsive. Great Place!

Gathering place for our Mom's funeral

Our mother passed away and 4 of the five siblings were from out of town. During this time of covet, we were not able to have a gathering at the church after her funeral. This house was EXACTLY what we needed. There were plenty of rooms for everyone who needed one and the house had lots of room. The kitchen was amazing and we were able to make all of our meals. I have stayed at a number of VRBO's and this was by far the best equiped place I have ever stayed at.

Large family gathering

Our family of 17, ranging in age from 3-70, enjoyed a wonderful week at this property. The children played in the water and caught fish off the dock. The large kitchen and dining area made meal prep so easy. There was plenty of storage space for groceries and beverages. We especially were grateful for the sleeping accommodations: 10 bedrooms with comfortable king-sized beds meant we could all get a good night's sleep. We enjoyed yard games, s'mores around the fire pit, swimming each day. All of our children and grandchildren were impressed and felt the property was "perfect" for our family get-together. We have already booked this location again for next year!
