Great place! Very well stocked with everything we needed. Beds are very comfortable. Really great art collection. In a beautiful part of town. We loved our stay!
Great convenient and safe location; very clean; good amenities; air conditioned; off the street parking. Reed was very easy to communicate with, and responsive. Our only comment would be if you are staying in the basement, you can very easily hear all shoeless foot steps upstairs. Not a problem for us, but lighter sleepers might be concerned.
The house was clean with a great set up for multiple travelers. We loved the local art and mid century modern decorations. The house was conveniently located close to down town which allowed for easy travel to the many wonders and National parks located just outside the Rapid City area. House was located in a beautiful walkable neighborhood. It made our trip all the more fantastic. So much to see in the area. Highly recommended.
The location was great for our visit to the Black Hills and Badlands National Park.
There were plenty of extra towels and wash cloths in the bathroom. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were available for use. A fully stocked kitchen, as I did do some cooking during my stay.
The bedrooms could use blackout curtains. Some of the beds are way too soft and not supportive, plus they are relatively high making it difficult to get into bed.
Upon check-out I was expected to strip the beds and start a load of laundry. I do not think this should be expected of a guess to do, especially since a cleaning charge was added onto the reservation. I don't mine starting the dishwasher, which was also expected.
There are plenty of books to read throughout the house.
The property was just as listed.
Having stayed at other properties in the past, I was pleasantly surprised at quite a few things the owner has to offer. The house was well stocked with toilet paper, kitchen paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, & bodywash. Those are just some, and ALL of them were of good quality!
I did light cooking while there and was quite pleased with the non-scratched pans. For our family it was very convenient that there were 2 refrigerators since we brought quite a bit of frozen food for our 2 week stay.
Also the owner was promt to answer my messages/phone calls and he was accommodating.
We are very happy with our stay!
Very nice neighborhood, convenient to downtown area.
Initial check-in had some hiccups, but Reed the site representative was responsive to our concerns. Very comfortable stay.
We are three well traveled 70+ women on a 3 week road trip. The residential location was great. The owner was extremely accommodating and quick to respond. The stairs to the lower level were rather steep and some of the amenities could use updating. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Rapid City.
This was the most wonderful house, and the best location for our travels in South Dakota. My two teenage sons, my father, and I loved this place. The entire house was immaculate, we felt safe in the neighborhood, and the size of the house was perfect for us. My dad had his own area in the basement - a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room. He could wake up and just lounge around till my sons and I were up for the day.
If you're looking for a place in Rapid City, this is the place to be!
Televisions were small with no local stations. Needs to leave directions on how to use the programming. One freezer froze all our food. He asks for us to start the wash before we left in spite of the extra cleaning charge. Towels that were in the dryer were damp and not taken out of the dryer! The house was clean and very comfortable. It is located in a nice neighborhood.
The house was right in Rapid City, close to all the major Southwestern Dakota sights. The accommodation was spacious and easily can handle more than a couple like us, as there are 3 bedrooms and 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms. John and Lilian
