PET FRIENDLY secluded vintage cottage on 10 acres with long private drive. Spacious living-room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the waterfront with sleeper futon, Open Kitchen and Dining room, Master Bedroom with queen size sleigh bed, second bedroom with two twin beds.
Enjoy all the comforts of home with high speed WiFi and SmartTV technology in this calm, serene home.

Over 300' feet of nice water frontage with a floating dock. Outdoor water equipment available for guests to use including floats, kayaks, etc.
Brettum.s Pond is Large Pond is great for fishing Trout, Brown Trout, Bass, and Perch.
The cottage is a kitchen with every thing you want, a dining-room, large living-room with a futon, two bedrooms, basement you have a washer and dryer!
Enjoy the privacy, peacefulness and between all mountains from the NH border, Rangeley, Sugarloaf, to Rockland! 1-hours the coast, 30 min to Augusta, Auburn, or Farmington! We have a variety of restaurant close to Livermore Falls/Jay, Farmington, Augusta or Lewiston!

Classic Maine cabin with some modern conveniences (dishwasher & AC). House was very clean and had everything we needed. Used the canoe to fish. Our dogs loved the walks in the woods. The dog run was helpful too. It was the vacation we needed-isolation and relaxation. Thanks!

We were able to meet Chris and sit and chat for a while when staying at the property. This place is amazing. There’s not one bad thing to say about it at all. We enjoyed our stay on Bretons Pond. The property was as advertised, a little rustic as a cabin should be! The lake is pristine and has fish. The dock had already been taken out of the water before Labor Day! Chris was quick to get back to us with answers to my questions. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.The WiFi was spotty but not much of a problem and the kitchen table needed a few more chairs for four of us to sit together. Thanks for a very nice stay.

The ad states 5G high speed WiFi! It’s not. It’s garbage. I rented this cabin for 7 days to celebrate my Mothers 74th Birthday, I needed to work during the day. I lost 4 days of work and may lose my job due to this out right lie. The property was gorgeous but my vacation was ruined.

Wonderfully nostalgic little camp! Felt like taking a step back in time to my childhood! Absolutely beautiful private wooded area with beach frontage and stunning view of the Pond. We were able to kayak and canoe to our hearts content and my boys were up daily before dawn, fishing. What an amazing experience to hear the call of loons and watch the eagles soaring overhead with one even landing in a tree right above where we were sitting on the beach! The owner is a wonderful host who checked in to make sure we had everything we needed! If I could give more than 5 stars I would gladly do so! Hoping to make a stay at this camp a new family tradition in the future!

This place is amazing! We plan on going back here again next year. Our dog even approves! The house was well stocked, clean & in a peaceful location. The dog & I watched the sun set on the dock & viewed the stars at night. The hosts are outstanding too.

We love this place! It's private, yet close to amenities. I grew up on this pond spending summers from the age of four 245. I was so excited to find another place on the pond that reminded me of my family cottage. Can't wait to get back!

Great spot to relax and enjoy time off.

Its our second year up to the camp, will be back next year. Perfect sun and shade, clean water and great sunsets. The grill setup out back is perfect.

Retreat in the pines

Such a great location.. easy to get to NH, the Maine coast and farther North, all within 90 minutes. Secluded in the pines and serenaded by the loons.. doesn't get any better! We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Great stay at the lake

We loved walking Iggy the Great Pyrenees along the long driveway and swimming in the lake all week. Great kitchen, bedroom and living room with tv for rainy days. Great places to visit and hike and restaurants! Thank You!

Perfect Getaway Spot!

We enjoyed our time here at this cottage. Yes, it's rustic, but that's part of its charm. We had everything we needed. The lake was absolutely beautiful. We swam and kayaked every day. We would love to come back again.

My name is Chris Botka, I am a real estate agent and I own Maine Mountain Maple in Rangeley, Maine. My daughter, Sara Botka Hatanaka is in Boston area and she work at General Manager at Saltie Girls, on of 24 best restaurant in Boston!.
This camp is my family’s personal getaway, one of our favorite places to be. It has 300' feet of frontage on the pond and 10 AC.We grew up on this pond and love visiting when we can. I split my time making maple syrup and helping others find their own special home properties.

Why they chose this property

This property was built and owned by our family for 3 generations. Currently, I manage the property with my daughters, Jen and Sara and their families renting so we can continue to make memories for others!

300' waterfront with the private beach!! A nice dock, 10 A/C of land, a nice cottage, lots of rooms, a nice setting of you and the guest, plenty of parking and only the camp on the road!
