Villa Victoria is set on the outskirts of Rethymno, just beside the charming village of Gallos. Its elevated, hilltop location offers breathtaking views from every angle of the pool area and balconies. Nestled in nature and perched next to a small gorge, the villa provides a peaceful retreat where guests can enjoy uninterrupted views of both the sea and the gorge. Despite its serene setting, Rethymno city and its long sandy beach are only a short 6 km drive away.
Spread across three floors, Villa Victoria comfortably accommodates 10 guests in its five bedrooms, with the option to host up to 12 guests if needed.

Lovely villa

The villa Victoria was perfect for our family of 4 and, frankly, it would easily have fit another 4 people while still giving them their space. The pool was beautiful, especially for our post-beach time. The balcony at the back became our favorite spot to sit and watch the landscape. It was also a very private location which was great for us. The host was very responsive and helpful, including coming to our rescue when I locked us out! All in all, this was a wonderful spot.

What a beautiful villa. It is spacious, very clean, well maintained, has everything we could ask for. The villa has lots of different seating areas - around the pool, shady balconies, and the bbq area (where we spent most evenings playing cards). Plenty of space for our 3 generation family party. The villa owners are responsive, friendly, informative and happy to answer any questions. The customer service was excellent too. Margarita, the housekeeper, is a marvel! We wanted to take her home. We would recommend Christo’s ( the village restaurant), Baja beach resort, Kournas lake, the nearby horse riding school and Stelio the chef and his team. We would all highly recommend this property.

Family time

Impressive villa, equipped with everything you might need. Great pool and outside eating area with barbecue / wood stove / fridge for long Al fresco evenings. Hot tub large enough to share. Bedrooms all luxuriously fitted out and a great kitchen. We were regular customers at the two mini markets in the village, and at Christo’s excellent taverna. All near enough to walk to. Our two year old loved the animals close to the villa, and our athletes loved running round the University campus and even the 3 mile downhill lope into Rethymno. We used the grocery delivery service for a mammoth shop to be ready for our arrival and it was well worth it - we could settle straight into our holiday. The villa owner Vicky and the etouri team made sure we had plenty of ideas for local restaurants and excursions. We used the Private Dining service and loved it - wonderful food and no clearing up! We loved the Amari valley both for the archeological museum and sites and for the fabulous tavernas. Local beaches were fine - we usually went towards the end of the day when the heat started to drop.

Amazing Villa!

This beautiful villa is exactly as advertised. In fact, it's better than advertised. One example, is the many fruit trees filling the front yard. Vicky, the owner, encouraged us to pick any fruit we desired. This was a first, and a pleasant surprise. We loved the total privacy, amazing view, hot tub, pool and outdoor amenities. The villa, itself, is as inviting and comfortable as depicted. There's nothing more we could have wanted. The kitchen and refrigerator was stocked with fresh, local foods, drinks, coffee, and water. This went way beyond 'just the necessities'. Of course, the hot tub was amazing after long days of sight seeing. As for sight seeing...I think the location of the villa (in Rethymno) is perfect. The whole island is accessible from this centraI location. We also enjoyed the old town of Rethmno over any other Cretan towns. Old town was amazing. Lastly, I think that what sets this villa apart is the wonderful owners, Vicky and Kostas. They ensured that every creature comfort was available upon our arrival. What impressed us most was how thoughtfully they engaged during our stay. We experienced uncommonly bad weather for a few days. Vicky texted us suggestions of things we could do around the island, despite the bad weather. She also texted restaurant suggestions (of local favorites). We truly appreciated their personal care. Thank you Vicky and Kostas! We hope to to visit again.

Perfect villa for family holiday. 2 kids and 9 adults - loved the pool, great BBQ, central location for travelling around. Rethymno very lively town and great for evenings. Would highly recommend this villa.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette superbe villa, ne cherchez plus c'est l'endroit idéal pour profiter de la villa et visiter la Crète. Nous étions en famille 10 adultes 2 ados et un bébé (2ans). Tout le monde était enchanté par la Crète et par la villa Victoria. Rien ne manque tout est au top!!! Le four à pizza fonctionne à merveille, le jacuzzi a fait l'unanimité, la piscine parfaite pour les enfants.... Si nous reviendrons? Certainement!! la gentillesse des crétois et l'accueil de vicki nous manque déjà!!! Merci!! Merci!!

Ein wiklich toller Urlaub

Wir haben schon oft Familien Urlaub in einem fremden Haus gemacht. Das Haus entspricht den Beschreibungen. Es ist liebevoll und Hochwertig eingerichtet. Von Miele Geräten in der Küche, einem Curve Monitor im Wohnzimmer, WLAN im ganzen Haus und auch im Garten ist es teschnisch sehr gehoben eingerichtet. Der Kühlschrank war bei Ankunft gut gefüllt, die Übergabe war herzlich. Wir haben viele gute Tips bekommen. Das Haus ist in einem Tadellosen Zustand. Fliegengitter an jedem Fenster, eletrische Rolladen, jeder Raum mit Klimaanlage. Steckdosen in jeder Ecke. Wirklich ein schönes Objekt. Wir hatten wirklich schöne Tage. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig,

Couldn't have been better!

We stayed at Villa Victoria as a large family in June 2021. It was our first visit to Crete and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better holiday. The villa was perfectly suited to our needs (including four children aged 7 months to 5 years) and ideally located to explore the local town and beautiful beaches. Victoria and Kostas made us feel instantly welcome and couldn't do enough to ensure that we had a brilliant holiday. The villa itself had everything we needed. The kitchen was really well-equipped, everything was very clean and the outside barbecue area was an added bonus. The pool has several steps leading into the shallow end, which made it perfect for the children. And the hot tub was great for the adults! The grounds around the villa were well-kept and include a lovely orchard and vegetable patch which you can help yourself to. We would highly recommend this villa (and Crete!) to anyone looking for a place to relax, enjoy good food and beautiful beaches.

Super Villa mit allem Komfort

Wir waren 3 Familien mit Kindern im Alter von 2-17 Jahren und wir haben es alle sehr genossen. Fitnessraum wurde fast täglich benutzt. Ein Plus war auch die überdachte Essecke im Garten. Einziges Problem. Tisch war zu klein für 13 Personen so dass wir noch einen zusätzlichen hinstellen mussten. Die Agentur etouri war jederzeit erreichbar und hat und beim Reservieren von Restaurants oder anderen Angelegenheiten sehr unterstützt. Wir würden die Villa jederzeit wieder buchen.

The Beautiful Villa Victoria

We have had the best time and holiday 2 weeks at Villa Victoria located just outside the beautiful town of Rethymno we are a family of 12 ages ranging from 82 years old to 13 months old the villa was perfect for all our needs plenty of space for everyone, each room with it's own balcony . Garden, bbq area , pool area and jacuzzi are very spacious and beautifully equiped. The only negatives being the 2 bedrooms on the middle floor off the kitchen the mattress are very uncomfortable they are rock hard I did speak to the owner Vicky and called our personal concierge after the first night to let them know and ask could mattress toppers be provided but was told they did not have any which was disapointing for such a highly rated villa. The lovely cleaning lady Marietta came every 2nd day and did a great job leaving everything spotless. There are several options for getting food delivered menus and numbers provided. The Etouri personal concierge is a huge bonus they are extremely helpful it is a great service. All in all we had an amazing time I would highly recommend this Villa it was a dream location.
