Great stay near the beach

I was pleasantly surprised based on the reviews. We stayed at the house that shares the pool, in October. It wasn’t as nice as that house, but it was good. The interior needs to be updated, but the pictures are accurate of the house. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again.

Awful experience! Would never stay here again.

Listing said check in was 3, then they sent me a text the day of stating it was 4. House was filthy. Bugs in closet, lights in kitchen, mold on shower curtains. The deck had gaping holes in it. Pictures showed a docK, there was no dock period. Pictures showed a park but it was locked. Sports equipment Locker was locked. I called to let property manager know I was having issues but she said there was no key to park or storage locker. I am putting together a formal complaint and will issue it later. I have pictures of all the nastiness. Homeowner made no apology but said I should have left if it was that bad. I had 8 people from 4 different states that I would have to relocate.

Only stay if expectations are low

I regret booking this property. I booked it because it was close to homes booked by other family members in town for a wedding. The home was functional but not clean. Everything in the home is either from Goodwill or the Dollar Store. Two of three bedrooms have no dresser or convenient storage for clothes. Not even a place to keep a suitcase open. In the whole house there were exactly two hangers. I had to go to Walmart to buy hangers for our clothes. Sorry, we took them with us so you will need to buy your own. We had to rewash all of the dishes in the kitchen before use. Even the coffee pot was filthy. And don't expect to cut or chop with the knives. All are second hand and are in rough shape. I was trying to cut strips of bacon to cook and I had to buy a knife at Walmart. The bathrooms were functional but were not clean. Don't expect to be able to watch anything on TV. The listing indicates there is cable/satellite. Nope. None of the TVs worked properly when we checked in. And then we learned that they are streaming only and the property owner doesn't provide any streaming services. So you need to be prepared to log in with your own services. We weren't able to use the pool during our stay. There was construction next to the pool the whole time. Construction started at 7:00 am and continued through the day. Sleeping in was not an option. The outdoor furniture is in sad shape. The cushions are fifthly and in poor condition.

Needs a very deep cleaning!!!!!!!

To start off with the chair in living room is still broke and needs to be replaced. The master bedroom sheets where dirty and the pillow case had makeup on it. The mirror in the second bathroom had fell out of place. The soaps were all watered down……. The floor in the house could use a really good mopping as on the first night of walking barefooted on the floor my feet where black. Some of the kitchen utensils where nasty dirty. No soap either. The grills could use a good cleaning. An updated picture of the front of the house would be good as well, the deck is no longer on the front of the house. The ceiling fan in the front bedroom needs replaced as the fan on high moves slow enough you can count revolutions. With all this said a phone call was made in the morning and a person was sent out. It did take said person all day to come out. Some of issues where fixed. For the amount of money that was spent this place should have been way nicer as in furniture that is not broken and definitely a lot cleaner. This property was a very big disappointment and it seems that this has been this way for some time now if you go read previous reviews!!!!!!!

Vacation?

There were numerous things wrong with the home. Commode in master bedroom did not flush properly. Two burners on stove were not working the recliner in living room was broken, as were some of the porch rockers. There were only four plates for eating meals. The ad showed enough kayaks for us to use. Whenever we arrived, there was only two. I spoke to the property manger about this but she never got back to me.

Great amenities, difficult communication

We LOVED this place but had several issues communicating with/contacting the property manager. The door needed to be pulled tight while unlocking so we struggled to get in. Called and text manager with no response. Finally figured it out on our own. Amenities were amazing-pool, boats, dock, decks, grills, outdoor fireplace, all wonderful. We couldn’t find Wi-Fi password or get the tvs to work for the small children nor did we have access to the life jackets. Again, no response when contacting property manager. We finally found a personal number and 16 hours later were able to get a handyman to come and fix things. He was kind and helpful! Even with the few issues, we plan to return!

We loved to property however the maintenance and housekeeping and maintenance was horrible.

We had mold on the master shower curtain bugs in the ceiling light fixtures each room lacked proper working light bulbs the washing machine and dryer was filthy and not sure when the last time someone moved furniture to sweep behind or underneath it. Outside needed pressure washed BIG TIME WITH GREEN MOLD EVERYWHERE AND BUGS ALSO ROTTING WOODWOORK AND ER VISITS JUST WAITING BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF MAINTENANCE TO THIS PROPERTY. We would love to go back the location is perfect but would love to see the property managers do more than just collect your $$$$$$$$. neither of the outside grills worked properly and we had to go fill the empty propane tank just to find out the grill didn’t work any darn way oh not to mention the toilet seatin the master bath is a joke good luck wiping your ass as it closes on you as you are sitting on it

Pass Christian home

Overall good property. The boat ramp on the property was awesome as well as ample parking for the truck and trailer. The pool and putt putt are great for the kids. Only thing was, I can not remember the last time that I was in any home that did not have a dishwasher and or a garbage disposal. It wasn’t great having to hand wash dishes all week.

Not all the fault of owner/Manager

Pictures are worth a 1000 words, but the stay really wasn't worth the price we paid for it, started out a tropical storm hit the day before, not their fault, but the pool was filled with debris I called was told they would be on it, nobody showed next day we bought a pool net problem solved, the cable in one of the rooms never did work. the pans stored under the stove were covered in food, uncleaned. the fishing was not good, again not their fault, tropical storm. but the dock and boat launch were very nice. About 4 days in the hot water heater went out, we called was told to check breaker, It was tripped, however it never worked again. next day I called back they sent a crew to check out, water had leaked on wires burnt them out.. so the day before we had to go home we got hot water again. probably wont stay here again.

This was the perfect little getaway spot for our family and friends! We enjoyed the pool, the boat launch was so easy, and the house was well stocked with kitchen and bath necessities! Can’t wait to go back!

Great get away in Pass Christian

The property met all of our needs. It was clean, had a great pool and the kids loved the putt putt golf. The property manager was easy to work with and responsive to all of my questions. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a nice place to get away with family.

I had asked if the swimming pool was “private” (meaning it belongs to the rental house only) & was told yes. However, it is shared with another house. I got to swim 1 1/2 days. Families with many kids & huge swim toys took over. The launch was not strong enough to hold boat trailer. The front wood deck has a broken space on the floor!!

Construction

Very dissatisfied with this property.the construction cosisted of two pieces of heavy equipment starting at 7am I was looking forward to peace and quiet and got very little do not rent here until the construction is done also wasn't told of the construction before paying!

Satisfied

I like the home just couldn’t find the volleyball net for kids and the basketball goal was no longer there. 4 teenage boys just wanted this things but overall the house was clean, had the necessary items, further then I thought from Gulfport and Biloxi but still not a bad ride to those things. If the water is swimmable next summer I would stay here again. Thanks !!

Sooo Peaceful...Just woderful

Lovely place with private pool. Would be great for several families to share the two houses. We will be back to this bit of paradise for sure
