About this property

Summerleaze House - Just 500m from the beach. 4 bedroom 4 bathroom property.

We live in a 4 bedroom house in a quiet desirable area of Bude, just 500m and only 2 minutes walk from the beach and Links golf course. Town is just a 5 minute walk and boasts a wide variety of shops and services

Our family house has a large living room and a spacious kitchen diner, that has large glass doors that open out onto our garden. It can sleep a family of 8 in comfort! We have 2 double bedrooms (both en- suite), 1 bedroom with bunkbeds and 1 bedroom with a single bed and shorty bed (175cm long) , as well as a family bathroom. We also have a utility room and downstairs toilet.

Bude is on Cornwall’s gorgeous north coast close to North Devon. It boasts eight main beaches and dozens more coves. This stretch is popular with surfers, and our closest beach Crooklets is shown in the photos above. When the tide is out, you can stretch your legs along four miles of beach, from Bude to Sandymouth, which has its own waterfall. and if you’re after dramatic coves carved sharply out of the cliff, then head to Duckpool beach, six miles north of Bude.

A Memorable Holiday

Lovely house, lovely area, easy reach of the beach, ample crockery and utensils for our needs. Not really suitable for someone with mobility issues as there are outside steps and no handrail.... also inside is a step hazard from kitchen to dining room which ought to be painted a different colour to avoid accidents.

Perfect base for the beach.

We had a lovely week staying at this property. The spacious dining room with pool table under the dining table was ideal for evening entertainment. The bedrooms were a good size and with two en suites, there was plenty of space for us all. Check in was easy with the owner showing me around and making us feel welcome in their home. It’s a 5 minute walk to Crooklets beach and close enough to town if needed. This place is ideal for either a large family or a group. We’d stay again and would recommend.

The bold and the budefal

Bude is a wonderful location , a genuine gem of a town for a multi generational family. Caroline is a thoughtful and gracious host providing us with some wine and refreshments as we arrived late after a little traffic on the M4! The house was ideal for our needs, well furnished and modern with enough space. We had a very good stay and we would recommend to anyone to stay.

Property was modern, spacious and clean. Perfectly located to beach and town centre. Emma and Elliot provided a great service, myself and family would definetly like to return.
