Newly renovated 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage. All new furnishings and appliances Spring 2019. Enough parking to bring your boat and the landing is 1 block away. Enjoy Shem creeks famous restaurants and nightlife. There are 18 restaurants, 2 coffee shops and a beverage super store all just a short walk from your home away from home. With outdoor TV for those fall football games this home has much to offer. The beaches of Sullivans island and Isle of Palms are 10 and 12 minutes drive while historic Charleston is only 15 minutes away. Pet Friendly with a fenced in back yard you will not be disappointed. Wonderful stay and great location!

This house couldn’t have been more perfect for our needs! It was walking distance to lots of restaurants and activities, and we enjoyed spending time outside on the patio watching TV.

Joe was very accommodating and quick to respond! The house was clean, quaint and in a perfect location to walk everywhere. My husband and two babies were comfortable and definitely would stay here again.

Great Location

We frequently visit the Charleston area and you can’t beat this location. An easy walk to Shem Creek for dinner and drinks and an easy drive to downtown Charleston and the beach!

Great Beach Bungalow

My husband, sister-in-law and 2 dogs came into Charleston for a family wedding, and this was the perfect spot for us!! This home is in a GREAT location, and is within walking distance to excellent restaurants, shops and nightlife! We are planning another trip, and will definitely stay here again!

Excellent Location

We rented the property for a month and enjoyed being walking distance to so many great restaurants and just a short drive into downtown Charleston. The boat ramp was 2 blocks away and it was helpful to be able to pull the trailer back to the house and park when the lot was full on busy days.

Great house in a great location

We loved this house. The location was great. We all agreed when we come back to Charleston we will stay here. It ticked all the boxes. I even brought my dog, which it was perfect for.

Comfy & Convenient

This is our second stay here and we were very pleased. The house is very comfortable and the location is amazing. I walked every day to Pitt Street Bridge, we had coffee at Vintage Coffee daily and pizza twice. So nice to be able to bring our boat too! The house is our perfect landing spot and we also enjoyed our day in reading and watching tv.

Family Vacation

Joe is a wonderful host! Our entire family - humans and furry ones enjoyed their stay. This is our second trip to Charleston. Five years ago we stayed in a different property owned by Joe. For this trip we needed a larger home to accommodate our family. We purposely selected this home because of our awesome past experience. It was HOT this past week but we had no problems with the house cooling down. There are ceiling fans in the house which helps move the air. There is so much to do in Mt. Pleasant and the surrounding area we wished we had more time than one week! If you’re staying here and are looking for places to eat we recommend Tavern and Table on the Shem Creek and Page’s Okra Grill right around the corner. With gratitude-

A/C wasn’t Cooling!

The A/C was cooling the house off, even overnight! The master bedroom and bathroom was Extremely Hot! Not sure if it was an insulation issue or proper amount of vents! I seen in a previous review in June 2022 someone had the same issues, the owner said he installed a “New” A/C Unit… but, there’s still issues! Temperature all week was in the upper 90s and that made our stay uncomfortable to say the least!
