Vacation in luxury in a completely updated 1bed/1bath beachfront condo. Updated kitchen w/ granite comes fully loaded for cooking. Living room has a pull out sofa, and tandem beds. Oversized balcony off living area provides plenty of space for a family dinner overlooking the beach. Private setting on main level w/ large grassy yard is perfect for the little ones, and a BBQ. TV's in living room and bedroom. Updated bathroom w/ granite counters. Condo amenities include Wifi, Pool, Hot Tub, and Beach access.
The Sangria Condominiums are one of South Padre Island's best kept secrets. The complex is one of SPI's original structures dating back to 1977, showcasing a classy architectural design thoughtfully laid out to take advantage of the exceptional beach front property. The complex is made up of only 40 individually owned units, so it is very quaint, private, and quiet. Situated on a gated tract of land in a prime location where Gulf Blvd begins its journey north, right off of South Padre Island Blvd. Walk to the entertainment district, shopping, restaurants, CVS, etc., you are in the heart of it all. The complex boasts a heated pool, hot tub, tennis court with pickle ball, a basketball goal, and an available volleyball net upon request.

This unit has walk out straight from the patio to the beach via a trail through the dunes. All or almost all SPI properties are behind the dunes which provide a home for some plants and small wildlife. Unit 117 hasn't been updated much. It has the popcorn ceilings and older fixtures you would expect for its age. We still loved it and if you're worried about popcorn ceilings, go outside and check out the beach. The property is well located. It is close to the bridge if you want to visit Port Isabel and within walking distance to CVS if you need something.

Thanks for the review, Adam! We have only owned this unit for a few short months, but added a new kitchen table (as well as light above it), provided all new bed sheets/pillows and comforters, new rug in living room, as well as new wall decor. Our next updates include updating the bathroom, and removing the popcorn ceilings, with the bathroom being our top priority. Hope to have you back again, and we should have the bathroom at least updated by then. Thanks again!
Condo Location is perfect, you can see the ocean from the living room, and can walk right out the back door and head to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.
The owner of the condo was very accommodating to us. I really love how easy it was to access the beach especially with kids. Overall it was a great stay!
Hunter was very accommodating. We needed to change our arrival date and he did so quickly and graciously. The location in the beach was awesome. Only negative was that we had to go buy shampoo, conditioner and a hair dryer as it wasn't provided. Other than that - all was great.
We had a great one week stay at the condo. It was clean, comfortable and kid friendly. It’s an easy walk to and from the beach. The pool is small but my kids still enjoyed it. There’s a CVS and restaurants within walking distance. My only suggestion would be to add a few basic spices to the kitchen cabinet. Owner is easy to reach with any questions. I would not hesitate to book again.
We enjoyed staying at the property. Great location! Everything was clean, enough towels for the duration of our stay, and a setup kit. Communication was very easy with the property manager. I highly recommend this place!
The property certainly met all of our needs. As we were celebrating a 75th Birthday, I needed a property with beach access on the ground floor. The added bonus, the courtesy and friendliness of Gina, the property manager, the cleanliness of the unit as well as the views and breeze. Perfect for what we needed.
