Big Horn Lodge 309 - Luxury Slopeside 1 Bedroom

This slopeside residence features hardwood flooring, a chef’s kitchen with gas range, a master bathroom with dual sinks, shower and soaker tub, a gas fireplace and washer/dryer. Guests will enjoy Village, gondola and mountain views from the terrace as well as the convenience of staying in The Village at Northstar, steps from Northstar California ski resort, dining, shopping, skating, movies and more. Big Horn and Catamount Lodges are closest to the gondola.
Village at Northstar guests staying in a junior suite through four-bedroom residence receive complimentary parking for one vehicle. Additional parking is on a first-come, first-served basis when vehicles are on the property and are not guaranteed.
Reservations include a mandatory Damage Waiver Fee which covers accidental damage up to $3,000 dollars. Report all accidents and damage prior to check out so necessary repairs may be scheduled. This Damage Waiver does not cover deliberate, intentional, or negligent damage.

Excellent Stay

Hello, The condo met our school break needs perfectly and is literally above the ski school drop off, which got our daughter extra excited for her ski lessons. The pictures matched the property and we love the convenience for staying in the village. The place was spotless as well. One comment - besides the welcome coffee supplies, there are no other kitchen basic food supplies like salt, pepper, oil etc so just make sure you bring everything that you need if you're planning on cooking or visit the market on the property.

Hi Amanda - we're thrilled you & your family had a fantastic stay. Good tip on the salt, pepper, etc. Providing these for guests can be a liability for us (if someone were to tamper with them) so, unfortunately, we don't have them in-residence. However, you can visit the front desk for small packets of individual salt, pepper, etc.

Clean, comfortable, and accommodating! Kitchen was fully prepared for cooking. Everything we needed for there in the room. Will be back.

Great condo, well appointed

This condo is very nice and has all the amenities you want for a short or longer stay. It's right next to the elevator and I only heard it once. Unfortunately in summer and due to COVID not many restaurants or stores were open. Also I would say that check in at 5 pm and a strict check out at 10 am is unfortunate. We asked for a late check out (until 12 or 1 pm) and despite the lady confirming no one was checking in later today, the manager still refused and only gave us until 11 am (friends also staying nearby had an automatic 11 check out.) Also the smoke alarm is EXTREMELY sensitive. Any time you make toast/fry sausages (with no smoke whatsoever) the smoke alarm goes off. For the cost of the condo - the late check out issue and the smoke alarm going off 4 times tarnished the review. Apart from that it was a lovely condo.

We appreciate your feedback, especially about the sensitive smoke alarm-- it should not be going off when guests do simple things like cook. For the 10 am check-out, our residences are multi-bedroom with multiple bathrooms, a kitchen, great room, outdoor terrace, etc. thus it takes our housekeeping team time to assure the places are spotless & ready for each arrival.
