Truly Amazing River Views from every room! 3000 square feet of Pecky Cedar Walls! Sorry, there is NO DOCK at the property, but if you want to bring your own boat or rent a boat, there are wet slips within a mile. The Sunrises and Sunsets are breathtaking! Magical Moon and Star Gazing at night! Snuggle in front of the fireplace or enjoy lounging on the deck, watching the fish jump, and other wildlife. Beautiful Ochlockonee Bay Bike trails are right at the front of the neighborhood. Great Restaurants and Beaches are a short drive away. Kayak and Canoe rentals nearby. 2 bedrooms, plus an additional Queen bed, a full bed and a single bed in open upstairs area. The beach butler lift is out of service. Sleeps 9.

Fishing trip in Panacea FL

We had a great time in Panacea fishing for redfish. The house was great for our four guys. The location was great with an easy launch for our kayaks right from the house.

Paddle trip

We really enjoyed paddling around the bay on our kayaks. Fishing wasnt very good for us but it was a beautiful place. The house was great. Had everything we needed for our stay.

This was our 2nd stay here, and it was even better. Sandy, our host, is always so accommodating and gracious. The house is always so clean and inviting. And, oh, the views are so wonderful, both morning and evening. What a wonderful place to go and just relax. We highly recommend.

Heaven on earth

What a wonderful find in Panacea, FL! The house is nestled right by the water and has a spacious deck for relaxing. The inside of the house is beautifully appointed, and extremely welcoming and very clean! If relaxation and quiet surroundings are your thing, you will LOVE this vacation rental home!

On the Bay

This was a great retreat for me and my wife. House is great. Beautiful bay view, quiet. Sandy was terrific all the time there for us. Plenty of great seafood within a short drive. Convenient to Wakulla Springs or beaches. We hope to come back. Thanks for a great stay!!

Relaxing

This property is cottage style with the perfect atmosphere for relaxing taking in the beautiful views. Good for families with children over toddler age. Lots of space for groups. Loved playing games and checking out the record collection. Many nature related activities in the area hiking, beaches, fishing. We had a dolphin pop up while fishing from a kayak.

Great stay at the river house

This is a really nice house in a perfect location for paddling, hiking, and biking. The house is very clean, with lots of sitting areas and beds. Nice big kitchen equipped with everything you'll likely need. This was the second time we've stayed here, and would have been the third time except that it was occupied when we tried to stay last time. We hope to be back more in the future.

Ochlockonee Bay River House

This was the greatest vacation. Not only did you have beaches that are not crowded, you had great fishing all around, including at the home. Susan was wonderful to work with! The house was awesome and we could not have asked for a better host, location or home!!!! I give her a million stars!!!!

Great view from inside

This house has a great view from inside. You feel like your out on the water. Lots of room for a small or large group. Many areas to spread out inside and out. You will not find a more gracious host that not only concerned you have a a pleasant trip but really make you feel welcome.

Idyllic setting, stellar host

Perfect. The River House was as advertised in the listing plus so much more! We especially enjoyed the pond on the property, sound of waves and breeze off the Bay, birds everywhere, the real-wood fireplace, antique curios throughout the house, the neighbors, nearby beaches and hiking/birding trails, the warm days and cool nights and Sandy. Sandy was a stellar host!

A perfect home on the bay

We stayed for four nights the week before Christmas. The house is super clean and very well equipped. The view of Ochlockonee Bay is stunning. The location is perfect for those interested in outdoor activities. We hiked, biked, beach walked, and kayaked. All within a 30 min drive or directly from the house. Sandy was attentive and super easy to contact. I give this a 10.

Relaxing

The pictures and description of the home are accurate. Home is clean, stocked with everything you need, in a quiet setting and overlooks the River near the bridge. you do have to climb stairs for entry since the home is on stilts, but wasn't a problem for us. Enjoyed sitting on the deck watching boats go by and maybe on the next trip we will see dolphins! Everything you need is close by if you just check the local area. The host communicated frequently and responded very promptly when we had questions. I suggest you check out Mashes Sands Beach Panacea a few miles past Angelos for a quiet peaceful beach setting. We had a great stay!

Perfect spot

Absolutely great place to stay!!! Sandy was a great host, she was there to answer all my questions about the place. We were able to drink our coffee and watch dolphins playing in front of us in the mornings. This place has it all.

Perfect Getaway

The property could not have been a more perfect place for a calming and comfortable vacation. The home was sparkling clean and had all the perfect personal touches to make our stay even better than expected. Our River house adventure!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at Mrs Sandy's River home. Everything you could ever need was already provided, even down to the little knickknacks that we may have left at home. The cleanliness was top notch and so comfortable. We even experienced seeing a dolphin and Manatee from our own back porch too! Definitely worth the drive from West TN. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
