A great place to stay when visiting Whitehorse. The house is immaculate, comfortable and well appointed. Hugo is a great host - responsive and pleasant.
Thank you!
Myself, my son, daughter, son-in-law and teenage granddaughter stayed at the house. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and everyone had their own room. The kitchen was well equipped so we were able to cook most meals there saving a bit of money. Overall we had a great stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
It was clean and very roomy and comfortable. The bbq had only one temperature so you had to watch very close when you were cooking. There are no other complaints.
Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay in Whitehorse! Hugo’s property is in a great location to access the downtown and it is a 5 minute walk to the Millenium Trail. The neighbourhood is quiet and close to a small park for younger kids.
The house has tons of space and everything you would need for your stay and then some! When I reached out to Hugo, he was quick to respond. A fantastic spot that I would highly recommend, and in fact we already have!
We were visiting Whitehorse for a tennis tournament, and 5 adults fit very comfortably in the well-appointed home. Nice quiet neighborhood, tons of amenities, lots of space for us to crash after our matches, and the house had everything we needed! Excellent communication from Hugo. Thank you from Team Alaska! :)
Great place. Just like the description. The owner was great to deal with. Very clean And functional. Had to arrive a day later and Hugo didn’t charge me even though that’s not the policy. Not many people would do that. Nice neighborhood and minutes to town. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Great value and was very happy with everything
We were 7 family members visiting Whitehorse. The home was perfect. We had enough beds and lots of sitting area for all of us- both in the large living room and at the dining room table. The kitchen was well equipped with everything. The house was very clean and well maintained and our host Hugo was extremely helpful and friendly. He took the time to take us to a spot to see the Aurora as well. We would highly recommend Hugo and his home to anyone wanting a home away from home. Merci beaucoup Hugo.
Clean. Very adequate for our needs - family of 6 adults and 1 child. Found as advertized.
Clearer instructions needed for recycling since not all garbage is removed (as at our home) every week. A couple of windows needed their handles repaired as did a couple of chairs. We let Hugo know. Very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the plumbing repair made on our first day. Thanks.
We would recommend others to stay in this house - and we would seriously consider it should we have another family stay in the area.
We were a group of 8 that came for a wedding None of us have been here before. The house is on a quiet road with a grocery store within walking distance
Short walk to Millennium walking Trail
The house was well supplied and clean
Plenty of sitting areas for all 2 Nice balconies and driveway parking. Hugo was available for any concerns or questions and was very pleasant to deal with
Wonderful family home — exceptionally equipped kitchen perfect for hosting extended family dinners, great location close to the millennium trail, very well equipped and appointed
I would like to say that all was perfect, but our stay coincided with very hot weather. Some windows lacked screens in a mosquito environment. On the plus side our host was quick to respond with a solution. All else was perfection.
Hugo is a gracious host who ensures your stay is as comfortable as possible. Our joint family of 7 were very cozy and had ample room. His home is in a nice neighborhood within a short drive to downtown Whitehorse. It is also very close to Millennium Trail around the river. We just had a small issue getting the fireplace to work but even then Hugo was willing and able to help us troubleshoot it over the phone. Only thing I wish is that we a could have seen the Northern Lights!
I travelled to Whitehorse with my spouse & mother in law to see my adult daughter & son in law after 3 years apart.
The house accommodated all 5 of us very well.
We loved the quiet, friendly neighborhood and felt quite safe there.
Be aware that the stairs to the 3 bedrooms in the basement is down a set of steep stairs. Not an issue unless you are with someone with mobility issues.
My 85 year old mother in law felt badly for taking the king room on the main floor but we knew she wouldn’t manage the stairs well.
Lots of room for a family. The neighborhood has an abundant of walking trails and is only 5 minutes to downtown for groceries & restaurants.
For those with children, there was an adorable park just a minute down the street.
The house was well stocked with paper & cleaning products. The assorted pantry staples was appreciated as was the storage containers.
We couldn’t find a dust pan for the broom but we made do with a pizza box ;)
If I had a complaint, I’d say more drinking glasses would be appreciated & mattress pads for the queen beds, as we found the queen bed to be very hard.
We would certainly stay here again when visiting Whitehorse.

This house is very comfortable and clean. Four bedrooms with four comfortable queen sized beds fit our family unit perfectly. Our host Hugo was incredibly accommodating, he had the house made up for an early checkin as our flight arrived a few hours before checkin. He even helped us find a rental vehicle when it seemed like all of White Horse was sold out. Thank's Hugo, we had a fantastic visit.
Everything we needed was provided, it’s a beautiful, clean home in a lovely spot. So much space and privacy for our family. Hugo was great. Will definitely be back next August for a longer stay! Thanks!
The house is super comfortable, really tasteful and in a great neighbourhood. Downtown is 3-4 min away. Lots of space in the house with 4 nice bedrooms, a super comfy living area and dining room. Hugo is also a great host who will help you with whatever you need.

Outstanding!
We enjoyed our time staying in this beautiful home. Hugo was wonderful. He came by and shoveled when it snowed and checked in to make sure we had all that we needed. If we return to Whitehorse we will definitely stay here again.
