🐾 Welcome to BearsPaw- Your Curated Yukon Retreat.
Whitehorse is home to this holiday home. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Shipyards Park and Chadburn Lake Recreation Area, while Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre and Yukon Transportation Museum are cultural highlights. Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre and Whitehorse Waterfront Trolley are also worth visiting.
A beautiful and quiet place ideally located just a short drive away from downtown Whitehorse. The house is equipped with everything you need for a short or longer stay. The host provided a welcome package to get us started. The house was very clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended.
This is truly an amazing place to stay - spacious, super clean and well decorated! We had everything we needed to enjoy few days hiking nearby, visiting Carcross, Museums… and coming back to this cozy place in the evenings.

Was the perfect place to stay had local treats when we arrived it was not far from Whitehorse had all the little things was very comfortable
Excellent place to stay, while in Whitehorse. All the amenities are within the property. Super comfortable. Owner has put a lot of thought into the space. It’s a Home away from home. 11/10 stars!
Beautiful spot with great sunsets, and dark skies for northern lights. Nice walking trail for the dog right from the driveway. Private and quiet location. A short drive to town, Nice clean space, great for a small family.
Loved this wonderful apartment just outside of Whitehorse! Had everything we needed and more. Very peaceful, great location and easy driving to hiking, mountain biking and paddling!! Communication with the host was great 😃
Would definitely recommend!

So glad you enjoyed your stay and I really appreciate how clean and tidy you left things! Come back anytime😊
We had a wonderful stay at this Whitehorse VRBO! The home was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed — from snacks and condiments to laundry detergent and other essentials that made settling in so easy. One of our favorite features was the spacious patio, perfect for sipping coffee in the quiet mornings and unwinding with friends in the evenings. The peaceful setting gave us the best of both worlds — a relaxing escape that was still just a few minutes from Winterlong Brewing and a short drive to downtown. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Whitehorse!
Spotless, comfortable, welcoming, quiet accommodations. Well stocked kitchen and many nice touches, right down to a bowl of chocolates, local popcorn and coffee to enjoy. Nice to have blackout curtains in each bedroom. Beds very comfortable. Being a bit out of town, great place for star gazing & watching Northern lights. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for the kind words! So glad your stay was an enjoyable one😊
Amazing property, so relaxing and private. Short drive out of the town. Bedrooms spacious, cozy and comfy. Kitchen spacious filled with anything you need. Lots of blankets, towels and games for your needs. Huge undercover carport perfect for the snowy season. Christine is a great host, thank you for a perfect house
If you are thinking of booking this - do it! We found it exactly as pictured and we wanted something that was a little out of town (about a 10 min drive or less to Whitehorse). The property manager was very helpful and responsive. 10/10 would recommend!!
This accommodation had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. There were lots of condiments in the fridge for cooking. Outside there was a large deck - there was a propane fire table and smoker which we didn’t try out.We found the location near Miles Canyon handy and would be an awesome place to walk a dog, but it is a 7 to 10 minute drive to downtown.Would definitely recommend this to those that like a country setting. There is a long set of stairs up to the unit so it would not be a good choice for people with accessibility issues.
y place to spend your week in Whitehorse! This second floor apartment with only garage space underneath has everything you need, wonderful views, at the edge of town but quiet as it is off the main road on the edge of Mt Sima. There is so much to do both in Whitehorse and in the surrounding area that our week sped by with visits to the local museums, and to the Yukon Wildlife Conservation Center. And this unit is central to it all. We even made side trips to Carcross and Skagway from this location. Our owner/host went out of her way to point us to all the local restaurants, shops, and we even had great views of the Northern Lights on several nights of our stay. We brought our dog, and this unit has a lot of places around it so that we had no problem finding lots of sites to safely walk our doodle. If we get lucky enough to make another trip to Whitehorse we will definitely want to stay here again.
We had the most amazing stay at acreage in the city.
What a beautiful place, best we've ever stayed in and we've been to many, Christine the host was so friendly and helpful. Also amazing at giving you total privacy on the very large deck.the house had everything and more. If we ever come back to whitehorse we will stay here for sure. Thank you so so much. Hope the wedding was awesome. Flo knee

So happy you enjoyed your stay! You were awesome guests and thank you, the wedding was simply magical!
**Nice Property, good location, not in town but not far out of town. This is what we wanted. Leaving the big city of Vancouver for some peace and quiet and to visit friends. **But renters beware. The garage is converted to a carpenters shop for the owners son. We found this out one day after coming back from site seeing. He was cutting wood with a power saw. Very loud and no courtesy heads up from the owner. But after contacting the owner and VRBO to complain, the son stopped and left. With that being said it is a nice property to stay at for your vacation and I would recommend it! Just be mindful of the shop.
Clean, gorgeous unit which was much larger than we needed for the two of us. Christine had everything stocked in case you forgot something. Extra Yukon treats were most appreciated. Beds were very comfy!! King was most appreciated. Didn’t need to use it but bear spray would have been helpful as we spotted a grizzle 100 meters from the unit. Only recommendations, the access code in the first email and second were different. When I tried to call Christine there was no cellphone service. After scouring multiple other emails I found that a change had been made. Secondly, for those of us who are sensitive to “scents” perhaps a no fragrant laundry soap could be used for the bedding. Would definitely recommend this unit!!
