Great place to stay in Whitehorse

Carole and Clay could not have been better hosts. The house is in a nice residential neighborhood, 5 minutes from downtown, walking distance to awesome hiking trails. Everything was very clean, well furnished, lots of extra pillows and blankets, gas grill (which we used). We would definitely go back if we come back to Whitehorse.

The place had all the amenities and a few extra touches. The owners were great. They were helpful and very flexible. It was clean and had everything we needed. The downfall is that the electrical needs to be upgraded. The windows and doors were drafty and the floors were cool to walk on. They had portable heaters and electric heat. Would be fine in the summer but not ideal when the weather was almost -40oC

We were so pleasantly surprised at how nice and fully furnished this place was, even the extra decorative and pretty touches. There were all the kitchen appliances one could need, extra pillows and covers and blankets and a comfortable king sized bed. It was perfect for us on a long trip, staying in a home-type setting, big comfortable sofa, doing laundry, taking a weekend to be more comfortable and relaxed than in a motel. Communication was easy through the texting VRBO app and we were overall so pleased.

Nice and bright- very comfortable

Easy to find, convenient to downtown , bright and very clean, tons of hot water and pretty much every appliance you would need. Lovely fireplace , washer and dryer a nice bonus. Keypad entry very easy. Beds were comfortable and lots of blankets. Quiet location - we were never bothered by noise. Recommended to family who might have others coming through town.

Great location. All the amenities. Excellent hosts. Didn’t find written instructions for TV use. So owners helped with a phone call. Bit chilly in the evenings. Wasn't sure how to make sofa into bed, so we ended up sharing king-sized bed. Also were looking for instructions for how turn on heat, when heater and electric fireplace weren't enough. Written instructions would help. Bed was super comfortable. Would return again, for sure. Lorraine

Excellent home

I am very happy that I chose to stay in this house. I was travelling alone and I felt safe and well taken care of. I had all the amenities that I needed. This unit is just a very short drive to downtown Whitehorse and so everything was easily accessible. I stayed here for 7 days and it was just amazing. The owners are very nice and responded to all my messages very quickly. I would definitely recommend this house if you are visiting Whitehorse.
