The apartment is right in the middle of the Saint Pierre area of Bordeaux, with plenty of restaurants around. The bathroom was good, strong water pressure and lots of hot water. Walking distance to many of Bordeaux’ sights. Prefect

Gorgeous building, great location, awesome host!

Really special building in a fun little neighborhood adjacent to the Place de la Bourse. Steps to the lively square with cafes and restaurants. Easy walk to museums, parks, historic landmarks, the river front and public transit.

Perfect holiday!

We recently stayed at this lovely little apartment while visiting Bordeaux. It is in a perfect location, clean and welcoming. The best part is the warm hospitality of Laurence and Eddie! Laurence spent time sharing tips on her city, things to do and see, places to eat that were outside of the typical "tourist" venues. Her suggestions were spot on and this was an amazing time in Bordeaux. We can't say enough about the property, it's owners or the city itself! We will return and will definitely keep this gem in mind!

In the Center of it All!

My adult daughter and I spent four lovely nights in the apartment. Although it was small, it had everything we needed and was in a fabulous place in the heart of the action in Bordeaux! Our hosts were very friendly and helpful -- even arranged for our taxi to the train station on our departure. The door to the building opened onto one of the best streets in Bordeaux - steps away from many great restaurants, bars, shopping and sights. The apartment was up two flights of stairs of circular steps and should be considered if there are mobility issues; however, our host helped with our luggage. This was a minor issue considering the location. The apartment was very clean and modern, and the beds were very comfortable. I would to hesitate to rebook on future trips.

Great place with several minor suggestions

We stayed at this apartment from 10/23-10/27 2017. It was spacious and very comfortable. The owner, Laurent, met us at the entrance. She is a very warm and enthusiastic person. She let us into the apartment and showed us around. She even assembled a booklet with some very useful information about Bordeaux, restaurants, places of interest and tips about the wine country. The apartment is very amenable for a short term stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with coffee maker, electric hot water maker, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. The bed was fine and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water. The shower worked well too. The apartment is located on a small street just blocks from the Bourse in downtown. It's a perfect location. At night the street becomes a repository for many restaurants and cafes, but the apartment itself is located at the rear of the building and so no noise filters through. We were very happy with our stay and would certainly return and we recommend this apartment with only the following reservations and suggestions. 1) The apartment is located on the second floor which entails a climb of 42 winding and rather steep steps. There is no elevator. It might be difficult for some people to navigate the transporting of luggage up and down these steps. Laurent will certainly help, but one should be aware of the climb. 2) The person who lives on the top floor comes into his apartment late at night and leaves early in the morning. Don't know if he's a renter, but footsteps can certainly be heard. 3) One should be sure to sleep with the curtain closed. When people in the building walk up and down the stairs, they turn on the light to the entire building and flood the apartment with light. They are also able to see inside the apartment. 4) The apartment comes with soap for the bathroom sink only and not for the shower. There is no place in the shower to place your soap, shampoo, etc. and so these things have to remain on the shower floor. In addition, the faucet of the sink is rather short and washing one's hands is a bit of a challenge. 5) The pictures around the apartment might not be for everyone's taste. 6)The fireplace is impressive, but contrary to the photo, it is non-functioning. 5) The towels are laundered but are very rough to the skin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit to the charming city of Bordeaux.

Parfaitement agencé bien que de petite taille, l'appartement de la rue des faussets est magnifiquement situé dans le quartier historique de St-Pierre / Place de la Bourse, proche du tram et environné de rues offrant un choix quasi infini de restaurants. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis et fort bien conseillés par Laurence et avons passé un délicieux séjour à Bordeaux. Une excellente adresse à recommander pour un couple. Quel joie de pouvoir loger dans un cadre aussi prestigieux en plein cœur du quartier Saint-Pierre, c-à-d. dans le Bordeaux reconnu par l'UNESCO. Dès que l'on entre dans l'immeuble, on est pris par la somptuosité du lieu avec la cage d'escalier en pierre ouverte sur un espace intérieur et ayant comme vis-à-vis une autre cage d'escalier. L'appartement conserve une superbe cheminée classée. Un cadre historique qui n'empêche pas d'avoir tout le confort nécessaire. La literie est particulièrement agréable. Et même si on est dans une rue commerçante (nombreux restaurants), il fait très calme. Laurence donne de très bons conseils au point que l'on a presque envie de prolonger notre séjour. A conseiller. El apartamento es tal y cromo se ve en las fotos. Se encuentra en el centro de Burdeos. Justo al lado de la place st Pierre. Perfecto para conocer la ciudad. Los propietarios muy amables nos ofrecieron toda la informacion para practica para movernos y conocer Burdeos. Sin duda repetiriamos.

Bonita propiedad, con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días. En lo mejor de Burdeos. La escalera de acceso al apartamento es muy elegante. El apto es tal y como aparece en las fotos, muy limpio. Laurence es un encanto. El único inconveniente es el aparcamiento: o se paga parquin o se deja el coche lejos. Pero es lo que tiene estar en el centro. Por otro lado, si se desea, el transporte público es una maravilla.

What a delightful studio apt. To rent!!!!! The host and hostess are lovely people very helpful with everything! The location is close to everything! We walked everywhere. Water taxi and trams are easy to get to! Very good experience. Would recommend highly!!!!

Great cozy apartment in the heart of Bordeaux

My husband and I stayed at this location this past September. We received great directions to the apartment utilizing public transportation from the train station to Rue des Faussets. Laurence greeted us on site. The apartment doesn't have an elevator and has some "skinny" stairs, but that is part of the charm. The apartment itself is very clean and updated. It has a nice coffee maker and a small kitchen. The bathroom is very nice and modern and it has a washing machine; no dryer but there is a clothes rack. Like others have mentioned, no A/C, but there is a nice cross ventilation and a fan that works just fine. Location, you cannot ask for better. Great restaurants along Rue des Faussets and many others within a block or so. We enjoyed Bordeaux immensely and hope to return. Should our travels takes us back to this wonderful city, I wouldn't hesitate to book this apartment again. Thank you Laurence and Eddie for a great stay in Bordeaux.

Amazing location

The location of the apartment could not be better - close to restaurants, transportation, the river, etc. The apartment itself has everything you need for a short stay and seems to have been recently redone with a new bathroom, flooring, etc. But note that there is no air conditioning - but they do have a good fan that works to cool the place down quite well. We had a great time staying at the apartment and Laurence was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, parking, and anything else we needed.

Great location and cute apartment. Definitely small and cozy. Very nice bathroom. The closest restaurant was less than 2 feet away - literally! The only negative was not having air conditioning as it was pretty warm when we were there. Looking forward to our next trip.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le centre de Bordeaux à 3 minutes du miroir d'eau, en plein centre du coeur vivant de Bordeaux. La localisation du studio est parfaite. Le studio est très mignon, similaire a l'annonce et les propriétaires Laurence et Eddie très sympas, accueillants et disponibles pour tous renseignements. A refaire sans aucun doute.
