Here, you’ll find cozy seating, a gorgeous gas fireplace, and a layout designed for connection, whether you're curling up for movie night or recapping the day's adventures. The fully equipped kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining area with a large table perfect for shared meals, board games, or planning tomorrow’s excursions. Just outside, two private decks invite you to breathe in the crisp mountain air, grill under the stars, or simply relax while watching for moose and listening to birdsong.

The main level features a comfortable queen bedroom and a full bathroom with a shower, plus the added convenience of a washer and dryer. Upstairs, the expansive master suite includes a king bed, dresser, and writing desk, while a second full bathroom is shared with the semi-private loft, where you’ll find an additional queen bed. Columbine Lake is a private, covenant-controlled community. Renters are not allowed to use the clubhouse, gazebo, horse pasture, OHVs or Columbine Lake.” Plan on using one of the other three lakes (Grand, Granby and Shadow Mountain) for all your lake activities. Keep in mind when booking, that this property is located in a quiet neighborhood with owner residents.

Winter Arrival:
Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains! Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Keep in mind that chain and traction laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not advise driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel drive vehicle unless you a comfortable putting chains on yourself. Weather and driving conditions may change rapidly. We will not accommodate refund related to weather or road conditions, please plan accordingly.
