Part of our family stayed here with small children.in both Hamilton 1 and 2. They said it was very comfortable and quiet and comfortable. We had a large group and the parents were able to get the small children back there and able to get them to sleep after a busy day with the large family!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my mom’s 75th birthday! It was a multigenerational family trip and everything went smoothly from reservations to checkout! The team’s communication with me was wonderful. They accommodated an hour early check in for the baby’s nap . Which we greatly appreciated. The houses were fully furnished, comfortable, clean, and the pool was perfect for our family. The proximity to town and beaches was so convenient. We had such a memorable family time!

The two houses was a perfect setup for our two families that visited La Jolla together. The key pad lock wasn’t working for one of the properties, but the management company was easy to get in touch with and helped us with a work around

This was an excellent rental for our large family of eight adults and four small children. This was in La Jolla, a block from where our large family grew up, so we were familiar with the neighborhood and what we needed. The Avant team was very responsive to questions and problem-solving (all very minor). From the property photos, we thought that both backyards were more connected. There are two gates to open in order to provide continuous access between the mirror-image houses. The WiFi was weak in the back bedrooms but fine in the main front rooms. There were plenty of beach chairs for us to use, and the very small pool was perfect for small children — or just for cooling off in the sun. We were certainly happy with this rental.

Great Location for Darlington House Wedding

Our son got married at the Darlington House and this was a perfect location for our immediate family and in-laws. Amenities were excellent and the two adjoining homes accomodated both families nicely.

It was absolutely stunning. The decor was adorable and the separate houses was perfect to share with another family. We were able to socialize in the backyard and then also on the balcony. The beach was less than 10 away. We could not have asked for a better spot, we will re-book. Great for a weekend away. These houses were also two blocks from coffee, Pop-Up Bagel and common stores. Hosts checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend

This was a perfect spot for our 6 person leadership team to get away for 3 nights and 2 days from the office to do our annual planning for 2020 and team bonding! We rented both units.

Family fun wedding house

Property was close to everything we needed. Very clean , very pretty interior. Close to pacific beach, LaJolla village. Enough bedrooms to accommodate all of our family in both houses. Beds were very comfortable. Stuff for everyone. Two beautiful homes.

Lovely Thanksgiving weekend

The two houses were clean, and as presented on line. The communication was smooth and everything was beautiful. One minor inconvenience to note is that if you do a buy out on both houses, you have to go out through the gates to get to the other house. Not a problem, but better if there was a gate between the two. Other than that, a wonderful stay.

Perfect venue for family reunion

Perfect venue for family reunion, 8 adults and 6 young children. Easy walk to beaches.More games and amenities (sand toys, beach chairs, games, Pack n Plays, high chair) than listed in house manual. The plunge pool was a BIG hit. We prepared most meals in one of the kitchens and were glad we had brought foil, spices, ziploc bags, storage containers, etc. but there was a good supply of glassware, dishes, pots and pans. The only drawback to our stay: A/C not working in one of the homes. Avant staff very responsive but there were 3 very uncomfortable nights until the A/C was fixed. We were a bit disappointed that Avant didn't offer any compensation.
