The Sanctuary on Golden Lake
PLEASE NOTE: The lakeside yard will be regraded and reseeded in Spring 2026. We will be blocking out certain weeks. Any reservation made for March, April, and May 2026 will have some limited access to various parts of the yard.
This property checks ALL of the boxes for lakeside comfort: Four large spacious bedrooms, a fully-stocked kitchen, a massive lighted deck with a screened-in porch area, amazing lakeside views, a large lush beach, a huge firepit area with firewood, and kayaks and SUP boards. Add in the fact that quiet Golden Lake boasts some great fishing, and you can see why The Sanctuary on Golden Lake is called by some "the best lake house in Indiana."You'll soon discover why families love this place and come back to stay again and again!

Why they chose this property
Golden Lake is known as "the grandparents' lake." We like that it's rural and quiet and that folks continue to move here and fix up these little cottages around the shore.
What makes this property unique
A huge yard, lush beach, quiet neighborhood, and peaceful days. The screened porch overlooking the lake, a jacuzzi tub to melt away your worries, and a lake full of fish. Some guests have called it the best "getaway" lakehouse in Indiana.
