The historic Tarpon House built over 100 years ago as the original Tarpon Inn. Spoil yourself with not only the home’s historic charm but also it’s upscale amenities which make this home a 5 star estate.

The Tarpon House features a luxury master suite, beautifully designed kitchen with all the bells and whistles, large outdoor fenced in yard with gas grill, fire pit and plenty of outside seating.

Park in the driveway and walk downtown for some shopping or a bite to eat or walk to the world famous Sponge Docks for Greek culture, dinning or just to stroll the historic Anclote River.

The Tarpon House is located between Tarpon Springs downtown (2 blocks), Spring Bayou (2 blocks) and the Historic Sponge Docks (4 blocks).

You are also conveniently located just 4.9 miles from the world famous Innisbrook Resort and Salamander Spa. Pamper yourself at the Spa or play gold on one of 4 beautiful golf courses.

The house has a lot of character, easy to find, the host was a fast communicator. House was clean with the exception of a couple spider friends, but it’s Fl so that comes with the territory. It served the purpose of my family meeting for a wedding and it was beautiful!

Liked there was a parking area behind the home for 4 cars. Very clean but know you need to bring all toiletries with you. Some soap dispensers full but others had very little. Would love to see lamps in every bedroom as well as luggage racks. Please bring your clothes hangers with you- very few in closets. The fences in yard is not attached to back door. The fenced in area is nice but the gate to get in has a gap around opening a dog might be able to get out. Loved the old house feel to it. There is traffic noise due to it being on Alt 19- 2 blocks away from downtown Tarpon Springs. We would stay there again.

Had a great stay! Even with 10 people, we still had a lot of room. On kind of a busy corner, but was very quiet inside and so close to downtown. Well stocked and nice place, everyone was happy! Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home

The home was perfect for our group. There were 4 bedrooms upstairs with two bathrooms and an additional bedroom and bathroom on the main floor. It was perfect for three adults and two teenagers to each have their own rooms. The layout was easy for us all to gather and spend time together over meals and coffee. The house was very comfortable in terms of temperature and space. Additionally, the host was very responsive and kind. We would consider renting again in the future.

We had a great time here! I'm a youth pastor who looks for places to keep students for a few days each summer, and this house did great to serve our needs. We had room to spread out comfortably. If you're looking for a place in town and close to everything, this is the place! I only had to communicate with the hosts a couple times, but they were professional and courteous, and quick to answer what I needed. If I was to give a tip to any future guests, I would say unless you're comfortable parking in the street next to the house, two cars is max for parking, and as someone who often uses enclosed trailers for luggage for trips, I'm glad I didn't need one this time. Overall, their consistent 4-5 star ratings speak for themselves!
