Ocean Breeze's rental

Located just steps from the beach in Del Mar, the windows open to catch the cool ocean breeze. This newly renovated town house is two bedroom, one bath that sleeps four. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds. This adorable town home is just a few steps from the sand and a short walk to Powerhouse Park, Jake's Seafood Restaurant, The Poseidon Restaurant, and the charming town of Del Mar. It is a 10 minute walk to the fairgrounds where the famous Del Mar Races are held in July and August. The nearby town of Solana Beach has a great concert venue, The Belly Up, a premier live music venue featuring concerts and events from the entertainment industry. This town home is fully furnished, including washer and dryer, wireless internet, two off street parking spots, and a covered patio, with a small BBQ in the private back yard for dining outside. The back yard is spacious and woodsy, no fake turf here! Some beach amenities will be provided. There is a sunset view from the front balcony where you can sip your favorite beverage and watch the sunset. From the back balcony you can watch the world go by on the train. This place is perfect for anyone looking for a getaway where they can leave all worries behind and where the surf will lull you to sleep. Please note: up to one dog is allowed at the property with an extra $50 pet fee.

Thanks Carrie you were great renters and I know you took full advantage of the area...my only comment was about the stuffed chair that ended up in the upstairs bedroom. I had a heck of a time getting it back down. Next time if you want a cozy chair upstairs give me a call!

We tremendously enjoyed our Christmas at Ocean Breeze. This was a spotless and well appointed home with everything we needed, and probably the best supplied kitchen I’ve stayed at. Molly communicated very quickly and easily and was always accessible. Thank you for everything

Great Stay!!

The property was clean and so well equipped. Everything we needed was there, kitchen had everything, Any items for the beach included. So close to the beach and the town. The train runs in the back and takes getting used to, but earplugs provided if needed. If you have issues with knees, the stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom might be difficult. Communication was promp and pleasant. Would highly recommend it!

Cozy townhome close to beach

Cozy and comfortable home. Well stocked kitchen and bath, nice patio at the back and 2 decks off the bedrooms. Very comfortable bed, was nicely cleaned and personal touches left throughout (toiletries, detergents etc.). Short walk to the beach. It is next to the train track, so there is noise etc. from the trains. Lovely and very responsive owners! Enjoyed my lengthy (2 1/2 mo's) stay while I remodeled my home ~

Perfect rental

We had a great time at our Christmas week rental. Space for the 3 of us and our dog worked great! Kitchen was well supplied and plenty of bath towels. I would recommend an outside garbage pail as to not always need to give to property manager next door. We had a lot of garbage and always filled up theirs.

I am a second generation Del Mar resident and love this little town. The beach at 19th street is where I learned to swim and body surf and many years later where I met my husband. The sound of the waves and the train remind me of my childhood. The breeze off of the ocean is refreshing and feeds my soul.

I lived across the street from this property when I was a child.

What makes this property unique

There is a shady back yard with several trees and a woodsy feel that you can't find at most places in Del Mar. It is great for little kids and big dogs to roam.
