We had a really nice stay with our very welcoming hosts. We especially enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood and sitting at the lovely terrasse with views of the sea and surroundings. Our dog was well recieved and he could walk free around in the garden. We would happily make a return visit.

This was a highlight if our trip, a place to rest and recreate after a lot of travel. Friendly and helpful hosts and a bucolic setting amongst trees and great views. Highly recommended

Not what we expected

Clean , great air conditioning, kitchen ok . Biggest disappointment was the outdoor area which was hot unshaded and not green as shown on the website. Alan was very responsive and helpful .

Julie and Geoff were very friendly and outgoing. It was unfortunate that they missread the announcement, believing it to be an independant house. We clearly specify an appartment which is within the house but has its own entrance and private exterior leisure area that is not overlooked. Julie, being an interior designer had some strong opinions on style and fashion and suggested some ideas about how to reorganize and plan the outside areas. One or two may be implemented. It's unlikely the plastic flowers and trellises would find favor, in such a natural garden, with the majority of the 51 guests who have posted a 5 star review. We look forward for them to coming back soon.

Fabulous

Lovely welcoming hosts. Beautiful surroundings,wooded area with red squirrels, birds and singing frogs. Apartment with comfortable modern interior, flexible outside space, beach mats and umbrella available. Only slight issue there 10 minute walk to shops beach and restaurants involved a steep hill on the way back, but us oldies managed it each day. I recommend the accomodation and friendly ambience

Cozy apartment above Sete

We were with our two children for a few days in Sete. The property is located on the hillside above Sete, about 15 minutes walk to the beach. Apart from the steep, narrow road which takes some stamina if you walk it, it is a great property. The landlords are very friendly, happy to assist and also speak great English. We enjoyed it very much, could listen to the pigeons and frogs outside in the evening and felt very comfortable at all times. We will gladly take advantage of this again, should we ever be on the road again in this direction.

Top of Mont Saint Clair!

We spent a lovely week in Sète and really enjoyed having this hilltop apartment as a base. Alan and Michèle were lovely hosts, with lots of great tips of things to do and see, and a pleasure to communicate with. The apartment is blessed with air conditioning, which was certainly important in the July heat, and has everything you might need. We were also very grateful for the mosquito nets! The kitchen is well equipped (big fridge is great!) for those who want to cook at home, and we loved eating on the terrace whilst watching the sun go down. Merci Alan et Michèle!

Die Gastgeber Alan und Michéle wohnen in der oberen Wohnung und sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Der Garten ist gross und hat unsern Kindern viel Freude gemacht. Alan hat extra noch eine Schaukel aufgehängt. Es sind viele Strandsachen vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und hat eine wunderbare Weitsicht. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Für Familien mit Kindern wie uns war es perfekt.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet appartement idéalement situé puisqu'il permet d'accéder à pied à la fois au centre ville de Sète et à de jolies criques très agréables pour la baignade. La remontée peut se faire également à pied, pour les plus sportifs, mais également en bus ce qui très pratique pour ramener les délicieux produits achetés aux halles. Le calme du mont Saint-Clair est parfait pour se reposer et la vue depuis le belvédère situé à proximité est magnifique. Le logement est bien agencé et bien équipé et Michèle et Alan sont des hôtes très sympathiques et accueillants. La ville de Sète est agréable, vivante et authentique. L'étang de Thau permet de découvrir de jolies vues et de déguster de délicieuses huitres produites sur place.Bref une semaine des plus agréables en tous points.

Wir haben einen rundum schönen Urlaub in dieser liebevoll eingerichteten Unterkunft verbracht – mit Kindern und Hund. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und liegt idyllisch in einem ruhigen Zedernwäldchen am Mont Saint-Clair in Sète. Ein idealer Ort für Erholung und Naturverbundenheit. Für tägliche Bewegung sorgt der Spaziergang bergab und bergauf zu den Bäckereien, Restaurants oder den Stränden von Sète. Das Auto kann bequem auf dem Grundstück geparkt werden. Ein Hundestrand ist in etwa 20 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind die freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Schönes Ferienhaus in romantischem Garten

Wir waren als Familie in Sète und waren in diesem schönen Ferienhaus 2 Wochen lang. Die Vermieter leben im oberen Stock, man bemerkt sie aber praktisch nicht, ausser man hat Fragen. Sie sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Ferienhaus guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Jolie location sur les hauteurs de Sète dans quartier résidentiel. Parfait pour couple avec 1 à 2 jeunes enfants voyageant en voiture. Le propriétaire accepte les chiens de toute taille avec terrain clos . Parking du véhicule dans la propriété. L’accueil est sympathique . Excellent séjour chez Michele et Alan

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour dans ce logement. Les lieux sont très agréables et décoré avec goût. Le jardin est également magnifique au cœur de la pinède. Malgré une pente raide pour accéder au logement, l’endroit est très bien situé avec une belle vue sur la mer. Balade très agréable à pied jusqu’au centre ville de Sète. Nous avons été extrêmement bien accueillis par les propriétaires vraiment charmants ! Nous reviendrons avec le plus grand des plaisirs.

Magnifique

Nous avons passé une petite semaine parfaite dans un cadre magnifique et des hôtes charmants. C etait dépaysant et reposant. Prestations de qualité. Et la vue de la terrasse*****. N ayant pas voulu nous servir la voiture de la semaine, nous avons gravi la montée tous les jours pour visiter la ville. Les marches sont nombreuses et les pentes raides mais la vue est tellement splendide du haut du mont St Clair et la plage est en bas de la rue ainsi que tous les commerces. Séjour juste formidable.

Schöner Urlaub!

Die Lage des Objekts ist bei fewo vor der Buchung nicht genau ersichtlich, obwohl dies für uns ein Hauptkriterium ist. Die Wohnung war uns letztlich zu weit vom Ort entfernt. Für alle brauchte man ein Auto wenn man nicht gerade eine Wanderung machen wollte. Dafür war es sehr ruhig.

Nous avons bien profité du gîte sur les hauteurs du Mont saint Clair, au milieu du jardin méditerranéen où notre chat aussi s'est bien plu! Nous n'avons pas touché la voiture de la semaine, le centre ville, son marché, ses restaurants, ses musées, tout est accessible à pied, en faisant quelques efforts en montée et/ou en descente - tout dépend de l'endurance et des genoux de chacun. Des hôtes discrets et veillant à ce que votre séjour se passe pour le mieux. On reviendra!

Tolle Ferienwohnung über den Dächern von Sète

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung auf dem Mont Saint Clair, dem Hausberg von Sète. Die Vermieter Alan und Michele sind sehr nett und sprechen Französisch und Englisch. Sie haben einen großen und sehr freundlichen Hund, den man aber als Gast kaum bemerkt. Die Wohnung liegt am Ende einer schmalen Sackgasse und ist sehr ruhig. Zum Viertel La Corniche geht man 5 Minuten hinunter und 10 bis 15 Minuten hinauf. Nach oben geht es zum Aussichtspunkt über Treppen und enge Straßen, sehr lohnend. Die Beschreibung der Wohnung ist sehr zutreffend. Der Ausblick auf das Meer und dem Étang de Thau ist spektakulär. Wir haben sowohl den Strand genossen als such die Umgebung erkundet und hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub.
