Mountain Chalet, Close to Downtown, Dog Friendly

The Interlaken Chalet is charming and well-appointed. Guests will love being tucked away in the trees with such close proximity to downtown Asheville!

This vacation ready rental has a fully-stocked kitchen with appliances, pots and pans, dishes, coffee, soaps and paper products. We provide linens, towels and blankets.

This home has Wi-Fi, Cable TV with Roku in the living room, Roku only in the bedrooms, gas fireplace. The 2 bedrooms are tastefully decorated.

Only an average $10 Uber/Lift ride downtown.

There is parking for two cars next to the Chalet. If you are traveling with a oversized vehicle contact the host.

Two dogs are allowed. Please click that you have a pet, this will add the $30 pet fee. Also let the host know you will be bringing a pet and the breed and size.

The home will be all yours for the duration of the rental period.

This is a well maintained rustic cabin. See the pictures.

Awesome piece of paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and looking to book again. It was peaceful, beautiful scenery, extremely clean, and such a cute place! We live in Charlotte, so this is a quick trip. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful weekend getaway

The chalet was perfect for a long weekend getaway to Asheville. The location was great to access downtown. The view was so pretty. The house was well appointed and very comfortable.

Holiday visit

We stayed as a family of four with a dog for 4 nights. Highly recommend arriving during the day, as the home is located in an unusual situation. Lovely views and the cottage is clean & comfortable. It’s very quiet and we enjoyed feeling like we were away from it all but having downtown Asheville and Biltmore a quick drive from us.

Nice little property in the hills

My friends and I enjoyed staying here. It's up in the hills so its nice and quite but still a short drive into town. The property is well maintained and clean. Everything was great.

We had such a wonderful stay at Interlaken. Super close to everything but also quiet and tranquil. The cottage was spotless and the bed was comfortable. We really appreciated being able to bring our pup. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Asheville Vacation Launchpad

I loved this place. It’s a little tricky to figure out how to navigate to the right one along the “chalets”, but it’s just perfect. Beds are super comfortable. Exceptionally stocked kitchen. Nice and quiet location that’s still close to everything. Great view. I will 100% return on my next visit to Asheville.

Pristine and Private

This property is well maintained and comfortable. We were in a wooded, somewhat secluded area and yet just minutes away from downtown Asheville. The access road is narrow and a couple of steep hairpin turns but is only a short distance - 100-150 yards to the cabin…of all the places we have stayed in Asheville, this is our favorite…

Easter in Asheville

We met our adult daughters who live in GA and Greensboro with two dogs. The listing did not say that the dogs should not be on the beds - we found that out the day prior. We were able to follow those directions but that had been part of the deciding factor for the property. Otherwise, the kitchen was well appointed and the chalet was a wonderful choice for our family!

Great Location!

This home offers the best of both worlds, wooded privacy yet close to downtown restaurants & shopping. The home was well stocked & in excellent condition. My wife & I were there for hiking & enjoying the city restaurants with our 17 year old son. The house provided a warm family atmosphere yet provided the privacy a teenager demands. While we did not need to utilize it the host provides a flexible cancellation policy which is key to our rental decisions. We highly recommend this home. Thank you.

Great Cozy Place in Asheville

Stayed in Asheville recently between Christmas and New Years and this Swiss Chalet was great. We wanted to bring our dog and this place being pet friendly and private was great. Had everything we needed! Very Cozy. Loved the big windows and all of the natural light. Communication was a breeze with the host and he was very helpful and provided a detailed map with instructions. It was a very short ride to downtown (less than 10 min) and very easy. Road up to this location is a bit tight and hard to turn around (we had no issues, but wanted to make folks aware that it feels more like a "cabin" area than a neighborhood, which is great if that is what you are looking for)

We love city of Asheville and the location of the Chalet. Feels like you are deep in the woods but actually are only a few minutes from Downtown and all Asheville has to offer.
