Herrlicher und entspannter Urlaub in toller Ferienwohnung

Meine Frau und ich sind von dieser Wohnung sehr angetan. Sie liegt perfekt an der Bucht von Barfleur und bietet einen beeindruckenden Blick auf den Hafen, der auch unter dem Einfluss der Gezeiten ständig einen anderen Eindruck bietet. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und stilvoll eingerichtet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die sehr ausgeprägte Freundlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft der Vermieterin, die für uns bei Fragen jederzeit ansprechbar war und uns mit wertvollen Tipps zur Seite stand. Hilfreich für uns als Gäste aus Deutschland war dabei auch, dass Frau Schöttel fließend Deutsch spricht. Wir können diese Wohnung nur mit ganzem Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Wir hatten ein paar wunderschöne Tage. Die Wohnung ist traumhaft gelegen in dem schönen Barfleur. Der Blick auf den Hafen ist einmalig, die Unterkunft mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und die Vermieterin sehr unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Dankeschön!

Sensationelles Hafenpanorama!

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr gut und liebevoll eingerichtet sowie umfangreich ausgestattet. Sie entsprach vollends den Fotos im Internet. Wir haben uns dort während unseres 10 tägigen Aufenthaltes sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Herausragend ist der Blick auf den Hafen von Barfleur mit Sonnenaufgang in tollen Farben. Alles, was man braucht, ist fußläufig ums Eck erreichbar. Wunderbar!

Weekend chaleureux dans un port du Cotentin typique. L'accueil est impeccable. Le logement est aussi beau et chaleureux que sur les photos. La propriétaire prend le temps d'échanger avec vous au téléphone si elle ne peut pas vous accueillir en personne et vous donne de bons conseils pour le séjour.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce duplex idéalement situé sur le port de Barfleur. Magnifique vue et vision du port sans cesse changeante. Un étage pièce de vie très agréable et un étage avec les deux chambres, dont une particulièrement grande avec la vue sur le port, et la salle de bain forment un très bon espace. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, une bouteille de cidre dans le frigo et la très bonne idée d'un vélo à disposition. Un séjour parfait !

I am the new owner of this nice, clear and large appartment in the port of Barfleur.
So I am at the beginning of this new seasonal activity.
The former owner Mme Hoffmann has alwasy got very good appreciations and I'm looking forward to continue this tradition. So I will do everything to satisfy you.
Don't hesitate to contact in english. I don't use translating machines, so all the mistakes you will find are owned by ourselves. ;-)

Why they chose this property

The special placement in the harbor of Barfleur. The special local activity, the fishing, the inccoming and outgoing of their boats and the unshipping of their charges.
The mild climate and the beauty of tis small ficher-port that has inspired so many painters.

What makes this property unique

The view on the port and the sea just from the living-room. The marvellous sunrises. Watch the tides just from the sofa.
The granite fronts of the houses inivite ou to take a walk within the village up to the very special normanic church, the sea-rescue station and th 1066 memorial. The flag-ship ofwilliam the conqueror was built at Barfleur and in the middle-age this was the main port for the relation with England.
The beach is not far away. As well as the light-hous of Gatteville. From the hights of "La Pernelle" you have a large view over the region "Val de Saire" and the bay of Saint-Vaast la Hougue with its two Vauban-towers, which are classified World-Cultural-Site, and the island of Tatihou with its famous oyster-parks.
At Cherbourg you can visit the "Cité de la Mer", the "Gare Maritime" where the Titanic had its last stop.
In the south you can find the landing area of the D-Day as Utah-beach or St.-Mère-Eglise
