"Amazing View Lodge" is the perfect name for this brand new gorgeous 5-bedroom 5-bathroom cabin that will sleep 17. Located in the beautiful Wears Valley, this luxury cabin is approximately 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Dollywood Splash Country and 25-30 minutes from Gatlinburg depending on the route
taken. The roads are completely paved all the way to the cabin with some slight inclines but would be considered motorcycle friendly at the rider's discretion and offers comfortable parking for 4 vehicles. This cabin also offers pool access with a catch and release pond at Honeysuckle Meadows Deli and Pool for those days you just want to relax and let the kids play in the water or go fishing in the catch and release pond located approximately 5 minutes from the cabin.

When you first walk into "Amazing View Lodge" the first thing you will notice is all the windows that frame this beautiful log cabin which gives you natural lightning to take in all the mountain views that surround you.

On the main level, you will have a fully equipped kitchen and dining for 6 with 4 additional stools around the bar. In the living room, you will have a beautiful stone gas fireplace to enjoy on those cold winter nights or relax while watching your favorite show on the Flat screen TV. On this level, you will have 2 King size bedrooms each having their own private bathroom with Walk-in showers only and Flat screen TV's in each room.

As you travel upstairs you will have 2 Queen size bedrooms with Flat screen TVs and their own private bathrooms with tub/shower combinations. In the loft area between the 2 bedrooms and a bar style table with 4 chairs.

On the lower level, you will find the game room with a beautiful stone gas fireplace for those cold winter nights, pool table, stand-up arcade game, and an air hockey table for you to enjoy. You will also have another bar style table with 4 chairs to be able to enjoy family and friend time while you enjoy watching the large Flat screen TV. Also, on this level is another bedroom with a Flat screen TV, a Full over a Full Bunk Bed and your own private bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Just off the game room is a TRUE theater room where you can enjoy movies, your favorite show, or watch your favorite team play on the projector screen. After a long day sight-seeing, climb into the new bubbly hot tub and soak all your cares away while taking in all the mountain views that surround you.

Christmas in cabin

The cabin is gorgeous with wonderful views. It was huge enough for everyone to have their own space. The rooms were chilly but it was very cold outside. It was very clean

Overall, the stay was great. There were a few key items that we missed in the kitchen (cutting board, sharp knives) and there was also not a broom or vacuum available for use during our stay to help clean up after prepping meals. The view was amazing and we enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful views

This property has beautiful views. Everything was as described in the listing. We noticed the hot water wasn’t working and emailed the management. Someone came by about half hour later to fix the problem. So prompt.

Amazing view is correct!

The view in Amazing View was great, no question about that. The cabin was clean and beds were comfortable! Pool table, game room and theater room were nice! We only ended up being here one night..we had some issues with the water supply and the rental company had to move us to another cabin; luckily one was available. While we would have liked them to be a little more responsive given our water emergency, in the end they got us upgraded to a nicer place! And they comped us tickets for our trouble which we greatly appreciate. Renters should be aware of the steep driveway and there isn’t a lot of space to turn around if you have more than one car. We actually ended up backing in up the drive so we didn’t have to back out down the hill.

Amazing Views & Quiet

Top of the hill with "Amazing Views"! Wasps are a constant battle. Most nests are under the 3rd level decks on each side. Blinds on bedroom doors to decks is still a suggestion as there is no privacy from decks looking into bedrooms. Bears are present and will come to the door and grill. Pool and deli were clean and very affordable. Pool does charge $5 per person. House was beautiful! Plenty of deck and views. Games and theater are a big plus. Electrical outlets all over. Good idea from Builder or Owner. Sunrise over Wears Valley... Worth getting up to see (every day). Out of town so enjoy the no hustle-and-bustle. Will definitely entertain going back to Amazing View Lodge.

Great views, would go back!

Really enjoyed our time here, wish we had a few more days, the views were spectacular, place was nice inside, it was fun to have pool/air hockey/arcade games downstairs, theater was nice but we didn’t get to use it Could have done without the hornets, there must be a nest somewhere near the deck because we saw a bunch, this is something that the owners / management could take care of, we were all fine but made sure to keep doors closed There were 2 gas fireplaces but no fire pit or wood burning fireplace which was a bummer, we even brought wood and s’mores stuff but oh well We thought from the pictures that there would be a grassy lawn to enjoy but it’s super steep so you’re really just confined to the cabin, it is neat tho because it’s the last / highest house on the street Garbage disposal did not work, the upstairs got hot at night especially after having the fire on, and the downstairs was cold, the cleaning service was still there at 3:30pm for check in and at 9:45am when we needed to check out However all of these things were manageable and the house was great, we would go back!

Great Family Trip

This cabin truly lives up to its name, "Amazing View Lodge." The cabin has an incredible view from each bedroom and beautiful rear decks. Our last morning we could see snow at the top of the mountains across the valley - it was beautiful! There are magnetic curtains on all of the back glass doors now, to allow for more privacy. This cabin is spacious, comfortable, cozy, beautifully decorated, and clean. Our group of 8 enjoyed all the amenities - theater room, game room, pool table and hot tub. The kitchen is well appointed and we cooked most meals at home. While we did see some wasps, and a few in one of the upstairs bedrooms, it's obvious that management is actively treating them. We saw many dead wasps on the ground, so I recommend wearing shoes inside because they are hard to see. The only major issue we had was with the water pressure. The water went out the first night and we were told that it was an HOA issue. The water didn't come back on until the following afternoon and once it came back, and throughout our stay, we were only able to shower one at a time (rough for 8 people) and could only run the dishwasher or washing machine at night or while we were away. Hopefully this issue will be corrected. We did get a small credit for the inconvenience. Otherwise we had an incredible first visit to the Smokies!

Christmas Family Vacation

The view was beautiful, the cabin was so pretty you could tell that it hasn't been built very long. The cabin wasn't available until after 4:00pm when stated that check in was at 3:00pm and the only reason we knew the cabin was ready is because we drove up to the property because we were tired of waiting around in town for it and we met the cleaning crew leaving and they let us in... we had to let the cabin rental company know ourselves that the cabin was clean and that we needed a door code. There was no remote to the fireplace and which was not in the instructions when we called to report that the dishwasher didn't work that it was holding water the maintenance personal told us how to work the fireplace. The maintenance person came to fix the dishwasher and it wasn't able to be fixed. During our stay there was a rainstorm that came through and in one of the king bedrooms on the middle floor the roof started leaking in multiple places in the bedroom, it was leaking at the end of the bed so thankfully we were able to sleep on the bed that night we just had to put towels and bowls around everywhere in the bedroom, and move anything such as luggage and all out of the room, i contacted the after hours number to let them know and sent them videos and pictures. There wasn't anything they could do at that time because it was 10:30pm. They said that they would send someone the next day but we never seen or heard from anyone. Overall we enjoyed the cabin, just had a few bumps in the road and hopefully the issues will be checked out prior to renting it to someone else. The leaking issue could turn into a major problem for the property owner if not checked out properly.

Great cabin in a great location

This Property deserves 5 stars. The view looking out over Wears Valley is amazing and all the pictures are true to form and the house is very amazing for a friends/family getaway to the Smoky Mountains. However, there are a few things that the property owner still needs to address that other reviewers have brought attention too. First, the lack of curtains or blinds on the doors leading out to the deck on the main floor bedroom need to be addressed ASAP. These bedrooms share a common deck with the rest of the house, plus when the blinds are open in the living room area you can clearly see inside these bedrooms on the side of the house. Guests staying with friends or even family must be constantly aware of the lack of privacy in these rooms. Second, there is still a problem with wasp/hornets which have found their way inside of the house mainly in the upstairs bedrooms. While it was not as bad when we stayed as other reviewers commented on, the problem still existed in September 2020 and there are no fly swatters to use. Third, the Kitchen is limited on utensils (like no can opener) and there were only 2 trash bags for a 4 day stay(we had to purchase more during our stay). The Ice Maker would not produce hardly any ice forcing us to buy several bags of ice during our stay. Lastly, while not really a complaint, just information for others to know. The parking area is rather small if you plan on having several cars.It's really only designed with 1-2 cars in mind. We were able to park 4 vehicles with some creative maneuvering, but just know that it can become tight quick with no room to turn around. Also, the driveway at the bottom is steep and low setting vehicles will scrape if not careful. Overall, if the owner of the property at least addressed the blinds/curtains in the master bedrooms on the main floor this is an AMAZING place to stay and worth the value despite the other issues.

Poor professionalism/communication from rental group

Amazing View Lodge was beautiful and the views were definitely amazing. It was clean and appeared exactly as pictured on website. Downside: There is only 2 small trash cans for a house that accomodates 16 people. This leads to numerous trips to pigeon forge hauling trash which is very time consuming. We notified them of TV issue in bedroom #5 (kids room). They stated someone would come out to address- no one ever did. We had sewage backing up in bedroom #5 bathtub/toilet. This caused all the other toilets to stop working as well. We were not able to use dishwasher or showers as well due to sewage overflowing bathtub on lower level. Notified Bear Camp Cabin Rentals who assured us it would be addressed. It wasn't. They kept telling us that they had called a plumber but a plumber did not show up for over 24 hours. The plumber told us that they had tried to service the cabin the day before but was unable to get ahold of Bear Camp Cabin Rentals for directions to the cabin and key pad entry code. We contacted the plumber ourselves when the Bear Camp Cabin Rental emergency answering service slipped and told us the plumbing service's name. From then on we directly talked with the plumbing service- provided them directions to the cabin and key pad entry code. Once that was done, the cabin was serviced and fixed within 2 hours. Throughout this experience, Bear Camp Cabin Rentals did not keep us informed regarding any updates. They did not seem to care that we were living in sewage and unacceptable living conditions. We felt that if we wanted to go camping we would have but instead we paid over $7,000 to stay in this cabin. We asked for a different plumber to be called if the one they had contacted was not able to come. We were put on hold and subsequently hung up on. When we immediately called back and asked to speak to AJ because we were disconnected, we were told he had clocked out for lunch. Overall, the staff at Bear Camp Cabin Rentals lacked professionalism and compassion. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Also once the plumbing was fixed and we were finally able to shower again we discovered that one of the showers was leaking into the theater room in the basement. Message was left for after hours emergency service with no call back/response. We just stopped using that bathroom and placed a bowl to collect the drip.

Very clean cabin.

The cabin was very clean. The view was amazing. We really appreciated how easy and quick it was to book the cabin. The kids loved the movie and game rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was clean and ready for us. The check out process was very easy. We would recommend this cabin.

Amazed by Views

Amazing views did not disappoint! The check in process was by far the most convenient I’ve ever experienced and any questions and concerns were immediately addressed. Being met with beautiful Mountain View’s and scenery each day was such a treat! My family enjoyed the space views and the theater! I will definitely book another stay at amazing views!

Wasp!!

The house and property were as advertised. Beautiful home with amazing views. We experienced wasp inside the cabin upon check in and it got progressively worst. We spent that evening killing and looking for wasp and reclining in the lower level which was not compromised ( 4 couples) . The next morning after killing 20 or so wasp I had the property manager send the maintenance technician. He was unable to resolve the issue as more wasp appeared in the cabin. It was obvious that a nest had compromised the home and a professional was needed to resolve the problem. The property manager was able to move us after I explained the issue and how dangerous it was. The management company was very responsive and found us great accommodations for the subsequent evening.
